Damien was wondering the halls of Hogwarts before he found the entrance to the Rehearsal room and decided to enter it. He began to look around and look at the different instruments in the room. The two instruments that stuck out to him was the drums and the violin. He began to remember his younger years when he learnt how to play the drums and violin thanks to his father teaching. He slowly walked over towards it as he began to trace his fingers agansit the violin feeling the unique craftsmanship of whoever carved this violin taking note of how delicate and how exquisite it is before his gazes moved over towards the drum set. He smiled softly as the drum was his favorite instrument growing up. He looked around looking for the drum sticks before picking them up and walking towards the drum set before sitting down and looking down at it, before letting out a quick sigh.
“I hope I remember how to still do this” He said softly to himself before he began to play the only song he knew on the drums which was Boléro.
Once he was done playing he smiled softly still proud that he remembered how to play the song and especially so well. He sat the drum sticks down before looking around the Rehearsal room.
“I wonder what else is in this room..” He said before he began to wonder around the room pondering to himself, some of these instruments he had never seen before and they looked quite um..curious to say the least. But he didn’t pay them really any attention as he began to hum quietly to himself as he continued to wander around the rehearsal room. He had to say it was quite bigger than what he thought it would be.

Sunday, 27th April; Rehearsal Room.
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────The heavy doors of the rehearsal room creaked softly as Prat made his way inside. His usual glasses perched upon his nose, nowhere in sight, neatly tucked into the pockets of his robes. His eyes, though narrowed from the blur weren't unfocused. Today wasn't about perfection, today he was seeking escape.
The boy crossed the room with purpose, not bothering to glance left or right. The polished surface of the grand piano greeted him like an age old acquaintance. Prat drew out the bench and sat as he adjusted his posture before allowing his fingers to find their mark upon the keys.
He exhaled softly before beginning.
What followed was his own rendition of Parting Glass. A bittersweet tune. Each note fell in it's place like a memory, carefully placed and just as carefully let go. His often perfectly postured shoulders dropped a fraction below as he leaned into the music's melancholic weight.
His playing softened midway through the second cycle, now less mechanic and more fluid, almost as if remembering how to feel each note instead of memorizing them.
Only as he struck the final chord, lingering just long enough to let the resonance hum through the air did he notice someone else in the room.
A breath, a face, a presence.
Prat blinked, still seated as he slowly turned his head towards the new figure in his peripherals.
A heartbeat passed, did they just witness Prat?
He squinted slightly. Someone had been here already? how long was he here for? His brows drew together in irritation, not quite anger but miscalculation moreso.
"You play?" he said simply, more question than observation.

Damien had finally decided he would play the violin just to see how it felt to play it again like he used to do when he was younger and had a better grasp on how to play it. His slender fingers gently strumming one of the strings as he held it in his hands admiring it and feeling its smooth edges and noticing how they took their time in carving such an elegant and beautiful violin. Even his eyes noticed the beautiful marks of the wood and the gentle and elegant strokes of their knife as they carved it into its now beautiful round shape. As he grabbed the bow of the violin and was just about to play he heard the beautiful sounds of a piano played by what he could only describe as someone with proper elegant and rhythm erupt throughout the room.
His curiosity got the better of him as he slowly approached the area that the beautiful and angelic music was coming from and more importantly who was playing it. That’s when he stumbled upon a boy with short dark hair in Slytherin robes sitting elegantly at the Piano looking like an angel almost as he played the piano. The soft tune of his playing filled Damien ear's as he hummed along with the tune, it felt peaceful almost like he was in a trance with how magnificent it was.
The tune suddenly stopped as he opened his eyes and noticed the boy had stopped playing and was looking at him right now. He looked a bit irritated if Damien had to say, he hope he didn’t disturb him by listening to him play. He was taken a back a bit when the boy asked him if he played. “Um yeah I play! I play the violins and the drum.”
