Gryffindor VS Hufflepuff: Match 4
(Thanks to Alyssea Brown for the banner!)The round was intense as usual, but the last round went quite well since Rose was blindfolded and Axyen was able to successfully cast Metelojinx, the Weather-Modifying Charm which gave his team a chance to have lightning strike down onto the Gryffindors; however, that didn't seem to happen at all sadly. However, Axyen wouldn't lose hope in his stormy cloud and had faith that it would strike them at some point. With no time to move, Axyen swiftly determined that their best course of action would be to unleash spells at Rose who has lost her sense of sight and so she'd be unable to see the incoming spells. It seemed Emma and EmmaLee shared the same idea, as they also aimed for her as Rose began to pull off the blindfold. Axyen didn't know what to exactly expect from her afterwards, but hopefully the trio of spells would send her out of the match? Axyen decided to go for Flipendo, a good spell in his personal opinion that would prove to be quite useful for him if it successfully landed.
Axyen recalled the time he learned the spell, more specifically its wand motions, a crucial part that's important for casting any spell. Axyen moved his wand in a diagonal downwards motion with a sharp curve upwards towards the right with a curve at the end. The wand movement feel quite familiar to Axyen by now, after all, he had used it a good bit in the past. The only thing Axyen needed to do was clear his mind and say the incantation. "Flipendo!" Axyen shouted in a clear voice.
A bright blue light flashed as the spell sent out from the tip of Axyen's wand sent directly towards the blindfolded Rose. In a similar manner to how Emma and EmmaLee landed their respective spells, Axyen would also find a similar level of success in his Flipendo which would send Rose into the air a flipping motion. Emma casted the Cracker Jinx and EmmaLee just like Axyen, casted Flipendo. They all hit Rose, but despite that, she was still standing and on top of that, she was finally able to take her blindfold off meaning that she could see again. Even though she wasn't out of the match, surely they did a lot of damage to her and so that probably counted for something, at least to Axyen it must've.
Regardless, even though they landed three successful spells unfortunately Emma's cracker jinx didn't hit the two other Gryffindors but that was far from the most worrying thing here as Kim moved the Metelojinx storm cloud directly over the Hufflepuffs. Axyen anxiously looked up at it and would have to be extra cautious probably; he couldn't speak from personal experience, but he could easily imagine that getting hit with lightning was anything but enjoyable. Axyen would realize that cloud was the last of his worries as Allister-Jameson aimed a Confringo at the floor beneath Axyen, which broke the floor and sent shards upwards. Axyen let out a panicked gasp as he tried to move himself out of the way of the projectiles, but he still felt a few of them stab into him which caused him to wince in pain; regardless of the pain, Axyen was still able to stand and more importantly he was still very much capable of casting spells. 'That hurts a lot...' Axyen thought to himself, the thrill of dueling again was just starting to wear off, probably because of the pain.
Still, Axyen knew that he wanted to put on a good show and who knows? Maybe this will be fun to look back on later on, at some point, but until then, he needed to focus on this duel. He needed think about what he was going to do next and he had to do so fast. Axyen needed to continue giving this duel his all, as it was the last duel of the school year he was going to place as much effort into it as possible. If he won this duel, it would make for a nice conversation topic at the dinner table with his family, which was a nice thought for Axyen; odd thing that he was thinking of that now, but whatever helped him stay motivated should do the trick for the time being... hopefully.InformationReducioStatsReducioStamina-7

EmmaLee grinned widely as her spell hit. Finally. For a moment, she really was beginning to feel like she was losing some kind of grip.
It was hard to reign in her excitement about how well the Hufflepuffs were doing against this group. They were giving just as much as they got and that was really all EmmaLee felt like she could ask for in any dueling situation.
It was soul crushing to be just be trounced by another team, so the fact that the lions looked just as bedazzled as the badgers had the French girl beaming at her teammates and readying her wand once again with a determined gaze towards her opponents.

Emma was glad when her spell landed, though it would have been nice if it had hit the entire team rather than just Rose. But she would take what she could get. She had been surprised when the spell had partially rebounded, dancing a bit to try to avoid the snapping crackers but unfortunately she was just not that lucky. Cringing, she hoped her teammates had better luck.

Day 1 morning slot
Hufflepuff seemed to be on a roll, getting out 2 spells directed at Allister and both hitting, not for lack of trying on Allisters part. EmmaLee's spell had just grazed him, seemingly slightly less painful than the one that Axyen had thrown his way, but Mylo knew from first hand experience that Axyen's spells hurt a lot. Although the Gryffindor seemed to still be standing after that onslaught. Emma having been less lucky than her teammates as her spell not even having left her wand, and Mylo knew exactly how that felt wishing that her next spell would work better.
Rose seemed to focus more on herself and not on her opponents, which worked very well as it seemed like she could take a few more hits after casting a healing spell on herself, that was quite a useful spell it seemed.
As much as EmmaLee had just managed to hit Allister she likely wouldn't be doing that any time soon, as Kim seemed to take note from Hufflepuffs previous casting and cast Obscuro on her, taking away her sight.
As the two teams continued to cast Axyen seemed to be very unlucky, as Allister had decided that the redecorating from the last Confringo wasn't quite to his liking he tried again, and once again Axyen couldn't seem to avoid the explosion beneath his feet. At the same time his own spell seemed to have it out for him, a lighting bolt hitting him from above and knocking him out.
As soon as Mylo saw the Hufflepuff hit the ground he held out his hand.
"Okay everyone stop!" He shouted, making his way to Axyen to get him out of harms way. Making sure he got the medical attention he needed he turned back towards the other duellists who were still standing looking to see if everyone else was still good to go and raised his hand again. "Start!"

EmmaLee beamed as her spell hit its target. She was thrilled that they were keeping up with this group of older years and although they weren't looking, or feeling on her part, the greatest, they were still standing at the end of the third round.
That is until the floor under Axyen broke apart once more and he fell to the ground.
Additionally, just as Axyen was falling to the floor, EmmaLee's world went dark as a blindfold form around her face. Awesome.

Credit to Alyssea Brown for the amazing banner!Emma clenched her teeth in frustration that her spell didn't even leave her wand. She had felt like she had done everything correctly but obviously something had gone wrong.
Then Axyen hit the ground, and she couldn't help but feel that it was partially her fault. After all, if her spell had landed maybe she would have been able to keep Axyen in longer. But that was not to be, and now it was 2 vs 3, with both EmmaLee and her having taken hits. And now EmmaLee was blindfolded and would have difficulty pulling off anything until she could remove it.

[gryffindor robes]——————------------------------ Both sides were more equal than Kim had originally thought they would be, considering it was essentially higher years against lower years. But at the same time that was the whole point of a dueling match. For it to go either way depending on the round. It didn't matter if you were up against higher years versus lower years or opposite. What mattered was luck and luck couldn't be determined, unless you had some kind of potion to do exactly that. But even then it was fickle. If the Gryffindors didn't step up to the plate more, they might lose the match. But Kim was bound and determined to not let that happen at any cost. All the Puffs had gone after AJ for some reason this round and they'd done a lot of damage. Rose was looking alright but they needed to pull themselves together and attack the other side. Or things might go horribly wrong for them. Kim focused and thought about what he could do to make things turn more in the favor of the Lions. Lions were supposed to destroy all other animals, right? Badgers were animals! They should be able to destroy them! Or put them down through sheer force! He glanced over at AJ and Rose. "Come on guys, we've got this!
