OLIVER ARMANI FIRST STRING BEATER

His first official game, his first one, in his first year, and he was first string. A lot of first's here. It was good news for him. Less so for everyone else on the team, as Oliver Armani didn't tend to play well with others. He worked as a team sure, but that didn't mean he liked his team. But to be fair, Oliver didn't like anyone. He listened to Koko's speech, It didn't have much meaning to him. Not caring if they won or lost, please. Oliver himself wouldn't accept anything other then winning. How else could he prove himself?

Walking over to the pitch he looked at the second string beater, Looked nervous. "Don't worry," A slight sneer worked it's way onto the blonds features. Looking the other first year up and down. "You likely won't have to play at all. Relax." He saved the fact he didn't think the other boy could play at all. Didn't think that would be very 'team-work' of him. So he saved it. Walking onto the pitch, the other beater was far older than Oliver was. He knew that for sure. Made Oliver feel a little cocky, he was a first year, and this far older year (fifth or sixth year he thought) playing alongside a little first year.

Oliver was better for being a first string on the quidditch team, but this Aodhan Shaw, a constant annoyance in Oliver's daily life. Far worse. Most of the Gryffindor team looked to be quite young. Meaning they sucked. Not having enough interest to have older students. Sucked to suked. He ignored Aodhan. A twitch of his eye the only hint he even heard the other blonde boy. A foolish attempt to look more like Oliver he was sure. Mounting his broom, and taking to the sky. Oliver was ready to win. And then rub it in Aodhan's face.

Note: The new target still gets their normal dodge attempt. This is not considered to be an auto-dodge, in fact this roll is done before any accuracy rolls are done.

In the role of Seeker when you have found the snitch, if someone attempts to use Alley Oop to help you find the snitch, you will not have disadvantage. However, with this broom you do not gain the +1 chance to grab the snitch for rounds that the Alley Oop is used. To clarify, each round someone attempts to grab a snitch they get a +1 to the attempt and this stacks. There is no bonus (or stack from this round's attempt to grab) to grabbing the snitch.

In the role of Seeker, when using the search action if you critically fail on your search you get a re-roll in an attempt to find the snitch. In an attempt to grab the snitch, if you critically fail on your attempt to grab the snitch you get to re-roll your attempt to grab the snitch.

xxSpring games were among the most dreaded for Maggie. She loved flying, sure, and springtime could, theoretically, mean nice weather, but more often than not the dreary Scottish atmosphere meant drizzling and a gray sky overhead, made even more chilly and biting by the waning winter freeze the higher up you got. Today was different. Slightly overcast, it was warm and comfortable with a slight breeze that ruffled Maggie's clothes, made her sigh with satisfaction as the wind touched her chill-bitten cheeks. It was time to step onto the pitch once again, dominate, and go back to her everyday, bland, boring life. Maggie waved to the crowd with her trademark cocky smile, gripping the end of the broomstick and kicking off.

The chants from the pitch enveloped Charles as an essence of thrill enveloped him. The excitement could not be contained as he grinned from ear to ear. Even though he might be benched for a while, he could not feel anything else than elated to be given the chance to have the box seat on the bench. Charles sat on the bench, still marvelling at the sight, the tingling sensation growing within.

As Lottie stepped out onto the pitch alongside her teammates, she was at once consumed by a strong sense of overwhelming passion. She had grown quite fond of these matches. As soon as she had taken her place on the Slytherin bench, her knee was bobbing up and down with a mixture of anticipation and excitement.

Eyes glued to the pitch and gut twisting with nerves, Lottie waited on the edge of her seat for the whistle to blow and the game to commence.

Mellani smiled at Koko and Dan, knowing this was their last quidditch match. Dan, she had never talked to, but she had talked to Koko a bit, and it was safe to say that she would really miss the elder girl being on their team. "We're gonna win this, like we always have, and after that I would definitely love the free food", she said smiling at Koko.

Mell got on her broom. Time to win another match.

Oonagh had been excited for this match and looking forward to it for a while now. She wanted to crush Slytherin. The more it annoyed her to be sitting on a bench for the start of the match. However she told herself her time would come, in which she would get the opportunity to cause some chaos. Or so she hoped.

She wondered which one of the players would drop first and of which team they come. She leaned back for the time being, before she leaned over to talk to her fellow bench sitters, like the boy she had taken a seat next to, @Nicholas McCowan. Care for a wager? 2 galleons that I get to fly before you," she offered the bet with a grin.

This is it, the last game of the season, and he wants to make sure the team is ready, that they are prepared to give it their best. So, with a deep breath, he turns around to face his teammates. “Remember, above all else, have fun. This is quidditch. Let's go out there and give it everything we've got!” he adds to Pax's speech.
