Stargazing
Damien Dragonclaw was sitting down by the lake with his book in his hand, he was reading The Oddesy by Homer earlier when he had sat out here after lunch. but now he was sitting by the lake looking at the different stars and constellations. Right now he was looking at the constellation Canis Major as well as the star in it Sirius which shined bright during the time of April. He enjoyed stargazing quite a lot as it always gave him new ideas for future paintings he could work on, he suddenly thought about the painting he was working on right now which was depicting the underworld as well as depicting hades in it. The sparkly night sky gave him more inspiration for how he wanted to depict the underworld in his painting. He sighed happily as he picked up his book and put a bookmark in it before laying down against the soft grass feeling the nice cool breeze of the nightly wind on his face. He didn't fully understand why but he felt at peace whenever he was outside under the stars. He started to remember how he heard other students talking about the Astronomy Tower and how that was the best location in the castle to see the stars at night. He made a mental note to check that out sometime to see if it was as good as they say, he looked at his watch noticing it wasn't past curfew yet but soon he should probably head back to his dorm.

Upon classes wrapping up for the day, Rafal had immediately headed down to the Great Lake. So far, the freshwater loch was perhaps one of the first year's favourite spots at Hogwarts, and a lovely spot for leisure or in his case, studying.
That had been hours ago. Satchel tucked into his side, Rafal had picked a spot leaning against one of the many thin oaks and proceeded to revise the material taught during lessons earlier, fresh breeze caressing his face. All in all, he’d had a rather nice time, but now night had fallen and he was hardly going to get anything else done, what with the lack of light.
Packing his things up, Rafal rose to his feet, satchel slung over his shoulder. It was likely not too much time until curfew, and he was hardly going to risk getting caught out here. Getting into trouble - or worse, detention would quite literally kill the Slytherin.
He started heading down the lake shore, picking his way around stray twigs and branches. Would hardly want to trip and fall head-first into the freezing water, after all! Speaking from personal experience, that was never much fun.
Alas, there was only so much one could make out in this pitch darkness, and it was only a matter of time before Rafal's luck ran out. And it did. He had just carefully avoided a particularly treacherous bump in the ground - ha, not today! - and had hardly started feeling smug about his accomplishment, before his foot caught on something, and he feel straight forwards with a surprised "Oof!", onto a rather fleshy and very distinctively living shape.

Stargazing
Damien groaned as he looked up and noticed someone had tripped and fallen ontop of him, he looked at them confused before he began to worry about this mysterious person. he slowly stood up looking down at them.
"hey are you alright ?" He asked in a nervous and worried tone as he looked at the person, he squinted his eyes softly trying to make out the features of the person in the dark. He noticed they had short curly blonde hair, and blue eyes with pink lips he could make out. the closer he looked at them the more he noticed that their facial features looked closer to a male which confirmed with him he was talking to a male.
"Sorry about that i didn't know anyone else was out here i hope your okay ?"
He gave him a friendly smile before holding his hand out towards him trying to help him up off the floor.
"here let me help you up, and I'm Damien Dragonclaw and you are ?" He looked at him softly as he gave him a bright smile his blue eyes shimmering in the moonlight as he looked down at this boy feeling bad for making him accidently tripping which in his defense he was just gazing at the stars and didn't think someone would have been walking his way at night let alone trip over him.
