There was an evident smile on both Emmy and Avery's faces, their eyes lighting up with excitement. Avery explained that she was a Seeker, so her way of playing the game was different from how a Chaser would play the game. Emmy understood the basics and rules of Quidditch, but her flying skills probably needed to improve. It wasn't the worst, but it needed to be the best of the best if she wanted to be on the team.

"Well, when can we start?" Emmy asked, obviously eager to begin.

It probably would be hard to find a good time and place to practice. The weather could be unpredictable, and the weather needed to be just right. Additionally, if it were too dark, Emmy would probably crash into some obstacles or something, since she had minimal experience in flying.

"Also, I don't have a broomstick yet. I think I need to get one first," Emmy said with a laugh.

Emmy wasn't the richest, her only source of money was from floor money, errands and daily payments. She estimated she had around 10-11 galleons at the moment, with the addition of a few sickles. The prices of broomsticks varied, but she wanted to save up for something better than just a silly Cleansweep 2.

"We can start whenever you want!" Avery smiled brightly. She couldn't wait to show someone the ropes of Quidditch. She would never forget the lessons one of her now teammates had taught her. Avery couldn't wait to show Emmy the chaos that came with Quidditch. It was going to be fun! "You don't really need a broom to start. Hogwarts has plenty of school brooms you can use. Though they aren't the greatest, they do the job pretty well when you're first starting out." Avery said with another smile creeping across her face as she remembered the numerous times that she had crashed. Especially the time she had ended up in the Hospital Wing. . . she would never forget that! "I may not be the best teacher since I've had my fair share of falling off, but I can't wait to fly with you and show you the ropes! It's going to be fun!" Avery laughed. It was true. Avery couldn't wait. She knew the day would probably be after she got back from Spring Break, so she would hopefully be in her right mind. Since she was going home for the break, she didn't know what she was going to expect when it came to the post break phase of school.

"Okay, when will that be?" Emmy asked.

Avery also explained that she didn't need a school broom to start, which was news to Emmy. All the Quidditch players she'd seen so far had not a dusty old shared broom, but a sleek, shiny one that they owned. Emmy would have to save up a lot in order to purchase one of those.

"I may not be the best teacher, since I've had my fair share of falling off, but I can't wait to fly with you and show you the ropes! It's going to be fun!" Avery said with a laugh.

The delight of this idea was almost overwhelming, and Emmy couldn't help but have a big grin over her face during the whole conversation. By now, the library had mostly cleared out by now, everyone exiting to get ready for the next period, which was in a few more minutes. Emmy suddenly recalled Avery's name on the list for the Quick Quidditch club she had signed up for a few days ago.

"Wait...you're on the Red Phoenixes with me, right? I'm one of the Chasers!" Emmy said, smiling, "I think we need to start practicing soon."

Emmy had joined the club for fun and for experience, even though she'd never tried flying, aside from in flying class. She knew it would be fun though, anything involving Quidditch was guaranteed to be an enjoyable activity.

Avery smiled as she scratched her chin a little and thought. She was leaving soon to visit her grandparents over spring break, so their practice wouldn't be until after she got back. Maybe they could do it on the Saturday after spring break? That would give them both enough time to be prepared. "Well, I'm leaving soon for spring break, so I won't be here. Maybe we could do a practice on the Saturday the week school is back in session?" Avery asked her. Avery's face lit up when she remembered her club that she had started with her best friend, Lya. She couldn't wait to see what adventures they would get up to, and the team would be great practice for her when she eventually played in official matches. "That's really cool! I had completely forgotten about that club with everything that has happened lately. Once I talk to the other captain, my bestie, Lya, we should be ready to go and play our first match before the end of the school year!" Avery smiled with excitement on her face. She couldn't wait to finally lead a team all on her own. She had always wanted to be the leader of a Quidditch team, but had never gotten the chance until the moment her and Lya created the club. She also knew that it would be great for Emmy and her to practice together before they were on the same team in a match.
