The student eyes the other students meandering about nervously but none of them give any heed. Then the nameless student leans in close and whispers, "If you speak their names, they hear you. If you name them, they own you."

The younger child did not say anything, but they whimpered.

The taller student oddly clothed had a quaver to their voice, but you could not feel the air of their breath despite how close they came to you. You blink and look towards them but they're gone.
Do you:

Investigate who they were? → Go to Stage 11

Pretend it didn’t happen? → Go to Stage 10
There is something about ambition, how it not only propels you but also defines you.

𝓢omebody had finally answered, an answer that wasn't just a short "no." But it didn't feel reassuring at all. Instead, it only felt like things were getting worse and worse...

There were two of them, one clinging on the other, and when Lyanna wanted to know more about the dolls the taller one spoke. "If you speak their names, they hear you. If you name them, they own you."

Fear creeped up Lyanna's spine, but there was no one close by to tell her that that hadn't just happened. All she could do was walk away as quickly as she could and try to breathe.
