STAGE 10: DENIAL
You push the memory of the hallway whisper aside. Nothing’s wrong. Hogwarts is still Hogwarts. At worst, this is a prank by an upper classmen.
Life goes on but something strange happens.
Your dorm/housemate was locked out of the dorm/house last night.
Who locked the door? How?
You did not lock the door as unbelievable as it would seem. You were the only one in the room.
Did you lock the door out of a habit you did not even know that you had? Maybe there is something wrong with the door.
There was always an excuse. Some part of your rational mind that begged you to believe anything but the terrible truth.
Except, fresh packages seem to be arriving. New dolls? You can't be certain (unless you also have a Steven doll), but you swear you just saw a girl pull a dandy looking fellow from a parcel in the Great Hall this morning. If you have a Steven Doll in your inventory, you are given a second package by a student (faceless NPC) in the Great Hall.
