I'm embracing my poetry assignment much more enthusiastically than my linguistic essay, that's for sure!

I think my problem at the minute is that there's a lot to cover in such a small word count and a lot of it requires technical examples. There's that, and then I've to link it with historical explanations, which I'm a little confused at how to do. A bit of everything really

I wish I took more English classes when I had the chance.

I like English! I remember enjoying some of the books we covered in school and I like the history behind its development and learning about Old and Middle English etc at this level.

But a lot of it goes over my head because it's near impossible to explain (for an essay in my opinion).
