I know the response is pretty much unanimous but I'm still debating over Calming Presence or Components for Emi's third year

I have a few on my mind for Kaitlyn’s. I was going to do components, but if she gets on a team … I may need to choose a different one…

Go for Calming Presence, it's the best! And it would really mirror Emmi's personality!

I'm probably gonna go for Sixth Sense, Evasive Maneuvers, Fearless, Spell Spread, Animagus and Apparition, already have Calming Presence

Components is a good one, but at the same time most of those ingredients don't cost very much and when we reach next year you'll probably have enough money to buy all of those without being broke anyway (also saying this to @Kaitlyn Connor)

I'm not really bothered about choosing abilities for sports teams. It isn't the main requirement/focus for Emily

She's on the duelling team to learn how to defend herself while she attacks with words

Honestly, the reason for why I was thinking components is only because of the way I want to play Kaitlyn. It is very in character for her to frolic through the grounds, picking flowers.

Emmi!! It certainly does! I can't think of a better person to have that ability, especially after having read your amazing solo in the Forbidden Forest!

True true, I agree with you on choosing abilities mostly for your OC. I chose those abilities not only for the benefit when in a modded thread/doing a modded action, but they also fit very well for the lore and character development I'm thinking of so far!

Speaking of which, I just thought of more Lya lore, jotting it down now so I don't forget it, I'll write my first lore-heavy Christmas solo after!
