When a random dude you don’t even know (or rather, familiar, but can’t put your finger on it) asks you to moderate his duel, of course that is exactly what you do.

Hans figured he had enough experience anyways, with Nik dragging him into his domain more or less against his will. Somedays he spectated while his brother knocked out opponents. Other days he was at the unfortunate end of his spells, though of course it need not be said that Hans always came out victorious. Such thoughts brought over an uncharacteristic melancholy, however, for he knew the reason his brother had retired to pure theory.

Whatever, instead of dwelling on that he could be glad the other schools were just as bloodthirsty as good ol' Durmstrang Institute.

Martial arts had its own charm, and while he preferred using his own fists over waving little sticks around, as a racer he had no qualms with sending a good flipendo into someone's face. In fact the sport had proved itself entertaining, with all its bangs and colours. Neither of the competitors seemed like a brute force of nature but he had not been in the training room for a while, so he would take what he could get.

“On the left we have Arno Dorian from Castelobruxo!” He announced grandly, gesticulating towards the boy. Then turning to the opposite side he continued in the same tone, “And on the right we have Elisa Shakestra of Hogwarts!” Hans waved his hand as a signal for the both of them to get into starting positions, “I don't know the rules but I sure hope you do, so--” Bringing down his wand lit with a quick sparks charm, he started the duel Hunger Games style, which for the nature of the sport, he found macabrely appropriate:

“May the odds be EVER in your favour!”

When a stranger offers you a chance to get beaten up by spells, the most sanest of people would deny the offer, Elisa however not in her right mind believed it to be an excellent opportunity for her to practice some spells on people.

She walked towards the place where the duel was going to happen,as realization slowly stroke her, in a haze she had accepted the guy's duelling offer thinking it wouldn't be a biggie but her lack of skills in duelling said otherwise, she was cooked. Elisa had never bothered to be interested in the sport, especially not when Prat spoke of it, her way of interest to him speaking of it just being yawns.

The young slytherin peeked into where the duel was gonna happen to see only one guy who she assumed was the moderator of the duel, the stranger himself was nowhere to be seen, Elisa made her way to the guy, greeted him before settling to a side as she started thinking to come up with some tactic to get over this, either resist or just allow to get beaten up?

As the duel's start was announced by the mod, she felt her fingers clench her wand hardly, one thing she knew was that she was done for..

Getting rejected by shiying/Maria had managed to leave a sore taste in his mouth. Whatever her reasons might have been Arno saw it as her disinterest in further conversation or connection with the boy. 'So stupid of me, to delude myself' he told himself. In all honesty even he knew it wasn't as big of a deal, nor was it going to harm his life in any shape. Yet, an empty mind can only do so much before fixating on another objective and falling deep into it. Arno's ability or rather fault of obsessing over the tiniest of things was his undoing. The lad had an irrevocable habit on fixating on one thing or the other everyday.

Leaving that evening with the Japanese girl behind, Arno aimed to blow off some steam. This resulting in Arno getting another student who seemed to be his age as their moderator and a smaller looking girl who he had roped into being his opponent. Arno wasn't sure how skilled either of them were, unfortunately for them, he had long thrown caution to wind.

In his dark brooding brilliance, the french lad had managed to find himself late to an event he went around asking for. Hastily greeting the other two on his way to piste Arno drew out his wand at ready.
