Book Recommendations for a True Ravenclaw

Omg there's SO many, it's impossible to choose... one of the books I've read once was A Wish in the Dark by Christina Soontornvat, not my favorite book but a book I will always remember

I have to say... I love "Howl's Moving Castle" by Diana Wynn Jones. I read it at least twice a year for the world building, story and dialogue!

Another one is Lois Duncan's "A Stranger With My Face". It has the perfect blend of mystery and supernatural elements! In fact, a fair few supernatural books could probably fall under this one... But there's too many to list

And of course, the "Medusa Project" book series by Sophie McKenzie! Read the whole series during the summer one year. Didn't regret a thing!

- Honestly, any Frieda McFadden book, I LOVE the mystery
- Origin by Dan Brown (v. knowledgeable while being a nice mystery)
- Gilded (honestly my friend just bought this for the edges being pretty, but after reading it, we realized that it's actually so nicely written, and just a reallyyy nice book)

I always love romance genre from Danielle Steel books. Kaleidoscope is my favorite book of her. The Hunger Games novel series is also my favourites for dystopian genre. It's no doubt that Harry Potter series are the top of my list, pretty obvious

OOC: I love reading classics; it would be difficult to pinpoint what book should I recommend as I have a great selection in my arsenal. For somone who wants to read anything light, I recommend reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain, or The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, also by Mark Twain himself. For someone who wants to read with a book of heavy depictions, I recommend anything from Fyodor Dostoevsky, Franz Kafka, or Ranpo Edogawa. For someone who wants to read anything political, read anything from George Orwell or Karl Marx. Heavy and somewhat scholarly, that would be Donna Tartt.

IC: I am still not done berating Philosophy of the Mundane: Why The Muggles Prefer Not To Know? I recommend reading it so we could laugh and criticise together the ridiculousness of it all. The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry; every kid should read it, if I say so myself. The Tales of Two Cities by Charles Dickens should be on the list too.

Ah, I will never pass the opportunity of recommending books to everyone. If you want to read a collection of short stories with the concept of Magical Realism, Before the Coffee Gets Cold Series by Toshikazu Kawaguchi is a book you can try to read. My best read recently is a Historical-based Fiction, The Poppy War Trilogy by RF Kuang.

Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson would be my choice after some that were named here already
