Prat looked up as he ceded his attempt to find a bright side of this pink bubble gum hell they had been entrapped with. Yet within this confusing environment, the presence of common and friendly faces that were about to arrive were prone to hopefully improve the current situation.

As the Cabin Door swung open, In came Valk, the sound of her footsteps preceding her arrival as she stepped inside, seemingly carrying the same look as all other occupants upon becoming witness to the Pepto bismol bubble gum hot pink vomit they'd been packed in.

Prat had been friends for a long while now, ever since they met in Jaipur at the ripe age of nine, well nine for him, he has no idea how old val is. His mom told him to never ask a lady's age. He wasn't sure why he couldn't ask their age but chose it best to follow his mother's teachings.

Val's confirmed presence made the whole cabin appear much more comfortable and at ease for Prat, As she made her way towards him, the duo shared a brief hug before flitting away to greet others in their cabin. Judging from her behaviour it seemed as if she was closely familiar with the two kids from that other schooled called Tenusa. One of them was tall, quite a bit taller than Prat and along him Prat assumed was perhaps his sibling, a little girl much closer to Prat in age.

They could be friends, if Valk was friends with them then in a weird way deep within the vaults of his own mind, somehow they were his friends too. Potential friends atleast.

"Val!!!, it's been a while" he spoke out loud as he rushed to her side with the tenusan kids. He eagerly awaited their fated moment where these formalities would be over and he could steal her away to a quiet corner and dive deep into the vast sea of stories and happenings the duo of them might have accumulated during their time apart. Somethings just can't be told over owls afterall.

Astra and Sio had arrived before Prat or even Valk, yet he hadn't had the chance to interact with either of the two, his reasonings were quite simple. While he'd like to befriend Asa, she had an uncanny vibe towards herself he wasn't sure how to quantify, With Siobhan, less he spoke the better.

They'd had a recent adventure between the bookshelves when both ended up fighting over a book, Prat didn't even think to stop for a minute and believe someone other than him might ever need that book. His delusion was broken was she took it right from his clutches and smacked his hand with it. "That stupid stupid girl" was all of the impression she had managed to build for herself in his mind.

While they eventually sorted their issue, Prat was not a fan of her needlessly tiring lectures and outcries demanding this super secret map HE'd found pressed in between the select pages of that book. That book did more harm than good as it became a point of conflict between him and another student he did not wish to antagonize or be antagonized by.

The second last arrival was someone Prat had not anticipated, it was a surprise. But a welcome one, Lo and Behold and in came Pierre, stumbling or something his way inside with his own natural flair for theatricals, his vibrant energy very much in tune with the cabin they'd managed to reside it. Pi even made a joke out of it, which, while failed to get a laugh out of Prat was enough to deserve an eye roll.

Pierre had many secrets hidden beneath his layer of jovial nature and whimsical habits, and Prat was glad to share one such secret with both Astra and Him. Though, he doubts anyone of them would ever acknowledge it's existence along with several other people who seemed to be a part of the peculiar organization this sixth year had formed and brought together a variety of students.

Before Prat could do more than glance at him, Pierre threw him a peculiar looking coat, one size too big for the second year for it to be an unannounced gift. The next best option knowing him was to hide it, Prat grabbed the coat mid air, casting a swift reducio charm. Taking a few moments to assess the depth of a nearby vase, Prat slipped the miniature coat down the vase's hollow body. It was a fit snug but well enough for now.

Following Pierre came a storm, a mountain of a man as he barged inside, shouting after the lad in pink. Proceeding to pat him down and threaten the man for something back, repeatedly asking where "it" was. Prat feigned ignorance, he had no idea what this was about but the pair of these guys looked competent enough to settle it between them.

"May I make us all some tea? I am still quite sick from the flight here and it is rather chaotic in here in terms of color. Perhaps a chamomile might soothe our traveling weariness and... settle whatever this is?"

Sio made her way towards the kitchen and disappeared, followed soon after by Astra. While the whole ordeal between the two other guys was cool, Prat approached the Tenusan kids once again, introducing himself and his school before making his way towards the kitchen.

"Hi, let me join you guys ?" He voiced as he looked around the view from their now shared kitchen. Unsheathing his wand, Prat asked the duo " Do you guys have a lighter or may i set this fire?" He made a mental note to go back in a while and check upon the muscled brute they had encountered a while ago, wondering if this was the last member of their godforsaken cabin. Though he wanted no part of it for now and a tea with the occupied silence between him, Siobhan and Astra seemed a better choice over the harrowing experience it was seeing the weird dynamic between the two older men.

Note: Khara is Kavi's 12-year-old {first year} dNPC younger sister.
@Piérre Marchonné, @Astra Norrick, @Prat Pass, @Siobhan McCarty, @Valkyrja Hjörþrimul-Kapadia
"VALK!" Khara yelled from the other room when the girl stepped into the cabin, loud enough to probably perforate everyone's eardrums. He shot the girl a warning look before accepting a hug from Valkyrja, giving her hair a little ruffle. After she ran to go greet his sister, Kavi covered his ears in anticipation of the squeals and giggles that were sure to come, and sure to be deafening, knowing them.

Confident the squealing had subsided, Kavi removed his hands, only to be bombarded by the egregious energy of a newcomer in the cabin- closer to his age, which was somewhat reassuring, that he wouldn't be chaperoning the entire cabin alone- but was a little worried, judging on first impressions.

He seemed kind enough at least, if not a little confused- though Kavi's accent had twinges of Australian (he could thank his dukun Jason for that), they were definitely not from the place many referred to as "the land down under". But it was all meant to be an easygoing icebreaker, he was aware, so he smiled at the little joke, motioning for Khara to come meet the people in the cabin now that her bunk had been secured next to Valk's.

"Kavi," he introduced himself, before nodding at his sister. "Khara." He noticed the cloak the boy- Piérre- was carrying. He was familiar with it, recognizing it from his first international trip. "You're from Durmstrang, then?" He said it as more of a rhetorical question, not truly intending a response but using it as more of a starting point of conversation. He would never guess that he was from anywhere else.

It wasn't much later that their conversation was interrupted but a familiar voice. Not one from his school, but rather a friend. At first, Kavi was excited. He couldn't believe he was running into his friend again, and was looking forward to the conversations they could hold during the week, but it was only for a moment, before his heart dropped. Maybe it was the full moon, but he felt like he was going to be sick.

As much as he tried, he couldn't get the scene from the other month out of his head. Kavi was bitterly ashamed. His one international friend, and he had ruined his life, subjecting him to Kavi's same fate. To make things worse, he hadn't even told the other boy, harboring the secret deep down, the secret that made him a criminal. Because he couldn't control himself. He was a danger to others, to everyone in the cabin. How stupid of him to even come on this trip. He should have just locked himself up, deep in the jungle, where he couldn't hurt anyone. Why would he come here, where if he made another small mistake, he'd put everyone in danger?

He tried pushing it out of his mind, struggling to give Romeo a convincing, genuine smile, with the guilt attacking his psyche in waves. He just couldn't stop thinking-

-how his teeth sunk into the boy's flesh, relishing in the taste as blood dripped down his jaw. How his claws scraped the boy's arm, feeling the skin tear away like it was butter.
And it felt so good.

"Excuse me, I think I'm going to be sick," he said, making a mad dash for the bathroom before he heaved up his breakfast, shakes wracking his body as he collapsed to the ground, the feeling of nausea still not fading, the pit in his stomach overtaking his mind. He wasn't ready to do this, not again.

"Kavi? Are you okay? Do you want some tea?" Khara yelled through the bathroom door in their native tongue to him.

"Please," he replied weakly.

"Okay!" she reassured him, before running after the girls (and Prat) making tea. "I'll come help too!" Khara was always eager to be helpful and make some new friends, and didn't have the track record of ruining their lives, unlike her brother.

He had no clue how he was going to get through the week without the guilt eating him alive, but he knew that if he didn't keep quiet, he'd be locked up in Azkaban before he could blink. So he had to learn how to live with himself, and fast. His stomach churned, but this time, he kept its contents down.

Eventually, he emerged from the bathroom, leaning on the wall for support and trying not to look as exhausted as he felt. Luckily, most of the inhabitants of the cabin didn't know him, so they wouldn't notice the strange pallor of his skin. Lucky for him, the sickness could all be passed off as a side effect for traveling. No one knew his secret, and he would like to keep it that way.
