The Gryffindor seeker was saved and the Ravenclaw beaters took that personally. They set out to finish their work, Ebony striking first then Jorah closing with the finishing blow. Elsian would be sent off his broom for a second time, but now for good. It's finished then, Jorah thought to himself as he breathed a sigh of relief. The game was all but won now. By the time Gryffindor sent out their back up Seeker it would be too late. Either Ravenclaw would catch the snitch or they would score so many quaffle goal that it wouldn't matter.

It definitely wasn't satisfying to see the Gryffindor seeker saved; to fulfill the satisfaction, she went first and fired towards the two lions sharing a broom. Her trusty teammate finished them off, sending both toppling downward. The game was going so well and they were so far ahead; nothing could take them down, right? She shook that mentality away just in time as she glimpsed the other bludger hurtling towards her from the corner of her eye -- she veered out of the way. Ebony had to remind herself that the game wasn't over yet.

Well there certainly had been chaos, a shame that she was not the cause of it. Her grip on the bat tightened until her knuckles paled against the strain as her gaze narrowed on the players. "Ye ol' featherbrains," she hissed as her gaze followed the curve of the bludger.

They had dared take out so many of their players already. Surely if she had been in the game earlier, the table would be turned and the flock would have fallen out the skies like chicken with clipped feathers. Even Elsian who had brought them victory last time around had bit the dust and from them looks of it the featherbrains seeker had now set eyes on a target. Oogie's heart beat drummed in her veins as her brain tried to comprehend what one would do in this situation. This was the second game of hers and while she was quite adaptable to circumstances, this was an issue she hadn't been faced with outside of normal games like soccer practice. Could she just whack someone over the head with the bat? Who was close to her right now anyways? She bit her teeth together, the pressure building up, it was not quite comfortable but it helped ground her thoughts just a little as she set herself into motion, keeping an eye on the benched seeker boy from her own team take flight from her peripheral vision.

Thank Merlin, it seemed things were finally going their way. Aly had spotted the snitch, Andy scored a whopping 60 points off the bench and the beaters were putting on quite a show.

Avis collapsed back onto the wooden bench behind her and took a steadying breath. It had been a tight, stressful match for a moment there but now that the Ravenclaw seeker was after the snitch and they had a more comfortable lead, Avis felt like she could relax a bit. She hoped her teammates could hold out like this for a bit longer until the snitch was caught…

Quinn smiled as her team scored a couple of points. Her... somewhat illigal efforts had gone unoticed and she exchanged glances with the person on her broom. There luck was going good so far... except for the fact that they kept missing! Then narrowly avoided being knocked off their broom by someone from the other team but managed to avoid them.

The seeker ended up going down, but Winnie also got caught cheating. She sighed as she gripped her broom and prepared herself for a penalty lap. She wasn't sure why she got caught so often in comparison to some of her team mates. Her copper locks blew in the wind as she started to complete her laps.

How quickly a game could turn. Her worry from the previous rounds evaporated a three Gryffindors, including their seeker, were not-so-neatly removed from the match. In contrast, their seeker was having much better luck, as she appeared to have spotted the snitch. It felt like the tides were in their favor this time, and maybe Aly would finally get to catch the snitch.

Lavinia was absolutely horrible at sharing a broom. While she was so excited to be saved by Quinn, it was difficult for them to succeed in any actions. Perhaps she wasn't in the right mind due to the bludger hit and was giving them too challenging of moves to take. The main good thing was that the two of them weren't getting caught for trying to elbow Elsian.

Watching both Ebony and Jorah strike a bludger at Elsian, Lavinia let out a sigh of relief at the fact she wouldn't have to try cobbing again. Now Ravenclaw was in a fantastic spot as the second string seeker was coming in for Gryffindor and numbers kept disappearing from Gryffindor's side. Soon enough it would just be Ravenclaw left on the field if the two best beaters in the business kept it up.
