I'm so sorry, Trace! I will absolutely pray for you grandfather right now. I know all too well how hard it can be to be in the unknown about whether a family member will survive or not. A piece of advice I can give you is to pray and listen to what God is telling you. Sometimes he leads me during hard times to go to the Bible and read a verse. Then I feel much better. Remember, no matter what happens, God loves you. If you ever need someone to talk to, my owls are always open.

Oh Trace, I'm so sorry and feel so bad for you! I understand completely how you feel, my grandfather died a month ago after 17 years of being sick and having cancer, and of course I'll be thinking about you and your family.
