Despite the overcast weather that had dulled the morning light coming through her window as she got ready, Koko's spirits were relatively high as she figured out what to do with her hair to keep it out of her face during today's Quidditch match. She smiled to herself and hummed a strange little tune as she, perhaps in vain, dabbed shadow on her eyelids and swiped a new lip gloss onto her lips. She could not keep from moving a bit extra with every action — as she pulled the top half of her hair into a half-ponytail, her feet found their way across the room.

This general bubbliness did not fade when she pulled on her Keeper's gloves, the familiar leather a comfort to her small, cold hands. She bounded more than walked out of the locker room and onto the pitch, cheerfully accepting the drizzle that dusted her face like morning dew. She turned to face her teammates, smiling at each one of them, making sure to make eye contact as she spoke to them. 'We're all going to do amazing. Do your best, we'll crush them. But remember to have fun while doing it.'

She would offer supportive words if any one of her teammates looked concerned, and joyfully, ebulliently, she readied herself to take off with a jubilant, perhaps even uncharacteristic, grin on her face. Today was going to be good — no, it would be great. Things were going to be perfect.

Enganação. This literally means "cheat" and is a basically the art of sleight of hand for Brazilian Quiddich players. When a Quiddich player attempts to use the "cheat" action where they attempt to cast a spell while in a game, they succeed once per game automatically. Must declare alongside cheat action. All subsequent attempts to cheat have a 10% automatic "not noticed by the spectators" effect.

Despite the way her hands were already starting to go numb where they clutched both her bat and broom, Tes was practically vibrating with excitement. Some of that may have actually been the shivering from the cold day, but she couldn't bring herself to care. It would be her first game with her new broom, a Firebolt, proof that her grandmother did care about her, and was working to understand her more. She just had to hope she'd get to stay in the air long enough to make it count.

"Let's have a fun game, Hufflepuff!" she called, waving happily to Slytherin, hoping they'd at the very least have an enjoyable time, even if Huffepuff didn't win.

Second game of her second year, and the usual butterflies had settled in Sage's stomach. She found her way over to the Hufflepuff bench, squinting out to the field to see what strong players they'd be up against. Her stomach sank once she saw not one but two seventh years out for Slytherin. Just their luck, it seemed.

The weather was no help to the situation, the chill sticking to her bones and the rain soaking her. Once seated as comfortably as she could be in the weather, she rubbed her hands together for warmth and called out, "Let's go, Hufflepuff! Let's win this!"

Exhaling a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding in, Avery pauses at the exit of the locker room and passes a cursory look over the team. She adopts a wide smile. "Alright guys, time to put that training to work. Win or lose, lets get out there and have some fun!" Giving a quick nod to her co-captain, the beater mounts her broom and darts off to take up position above the pitch.

Landon shivered as the cold rain and cold temperature made him feel cold and a bit miserable. But he was going to still be there to support his team, no matter what. He could live with the cold. Besides, he was always really excited for Quidditch. He always felt really happy when it came to Quidditch, even when the weather wasn't great. He didn't know if he would be playing at all, but he knew that he would still be happy to be there supporting the team.

He was a little bummed that his friend Alyssea wasn't on the team anymore, but he understood that her priorities lay elsewhere. He just missed her, and he missed Annie, but he was going to be happy with what he had. He had a great team, a very supportive one that encouraged him to do his best.

Landon took his seat on the bench and smiled as everyone said encouraging things. He didn't have anything to add, so he just sat there with a smile, clutching his broom and preparing himself for the match.

Ah! Rain! And cold temperature! During a match between Slytherin and Hufflepuff that day at the Hogwarts Quidditch pitch. And she was chaser. Roxette just loved playing a sport in the rain and cold. She murmured a compliment under her breath as she felt her fingers going numb as she gripped her broomstick. She also missed Alyssea and Annie. She wishes them well, but the Quidditch practices and locker rooms weren't be the same as prior matches. She hoped they were cheering loudly from the crowds. She couldn't help glancing around the stands as she flew up doing what they strategize.
