That's true, I mean, I've been reading since I was a child and sometimes with lights off, plus I play video games and also chronically online (you'd be surprised with my screen time). My eyesight is fine and I only wear glasses as fashion statement. ;(

That sounds horrible ;( BUT I also wear glasses to block my peripheral view, as I am easily distracted by the surroundings. I recommend for everyone to try especially if you're studying!

I'm not entirely sure that it is like that for all people, I'm sure it would also be caused by staring at screens, anything close to your face, I just happened to have a pretty screen-less childhood.
I can't use screens without a blue light filter. My eyes start to hurt.
But also, granted, I have problems with my eyes that make them...weaker? Worser? Susceptable? There isn't really a word for it.
