Spells were flying so fast that Scout was finding herself unable to keep up. She would blink once and something would zoom past her ear, and then she'd move and blink again and she'd yell out a spell in return. In a way she liked that she was kept on her toes but sheesh, things were going by real fast!

And her poor teammates were certainly getting the brunt of the damage, that was for sure. Ayumi didn't look too good, so Scout called out a "Keep it up, Ayumi! You've got this!"

The duel was starting to turn into a strange one indeed, with one side just deciding to... Stare. At what, Cass didn't know. The dueling club was a nice enough building, but surely it wasn't fascinating enough to throw away your chances of winning a duel just to look at it? It wasn't as if the place was hard to get into. Unless of course you weren't a Hogwarts student or professor, and then why would you want to? The Gryffindor team however, was paying attention. Lemmy and Ayumi both pointed their wands at Troy, sending twin jets of flame his way with Incendio's. Or trying to. "Ayumi tries sending Troy to his fiery death but fails! She sets herself on fire instead. That doesn't look fun" they were starting to wonder why no one had invented fire proof robes for dueling yet. It must be a pain to go shopping for new ones every time they got singed.

Lemmy however, would be dealing out payback for whatever Troy did to make Ayumi miss her spell (even if it was just stand there and stare. Maybe he was putting her off. Cass would be put off if their opponent decided that the walls were more interesting than them). "Troy doesn't get to escape the flames today though, Lemmy hits him with the very same spell Ayumi tried to use!". If Cass was remembering right, that was the first time someone had managed to hurt the young ravenclaw. Speaking of untouchable, Scout was the only one left on the piste who had yet to be hit, or at least hurt by a spell. A very impressive feat. Cass watched her expectantly, waiting for more impressive feats, but the spell she tried to cast fizzled out. Awh. "You got this Scout! There's always next time!" they called out in encouragement.

Lemmy was turning out to be a bit of a predictable duelist as the flames continued to spew from his wand. At least this time they hadn't backfire on him like before. However his grandfather always had a habit of saying that if it wasn't broken there was no need to try and fix it. His team was able to maintain the advantage once more and although Ayumi's spell backfired and Scout's misfired they kept at it and prepared for more action. With a swish of his wand, Lemmy attempted another spell.

No way she messed up! Her hand faltered for a moment before she hissed out a curse. She was way too old to be messing up her spells like this- especially when this was the most important duel of all time for her! Well... maybe every duel was the most important, but it was the most important right now!

Hmph, she'd just have to try again. Hit harder!

The piste, which had once been alive with spells, was starting to look a little quiet. The only duelist to raise their wand and at least attempt to hit the other team was Lemmy. He attempted to continue his streak of setting Troy alight with incendio, but the other duelist dodged out of the way. Cass waited eagerly for him to fire something back but there was just... Nothing. All four of the other students just stood there, gazing off into space or doing whatever they were doing. The important bit was, it wasn't dueling. It wasn't a match if it was just one student setting the rest on fire and them just standing there and taking the beating.

"Stop!" they called out to the students on the piste. "Since Ravenclaw doesn't have any more duelists who are capable of dueling, that means that Gryffindor wins this match. The hospital wing is that way, please go get patched up and congratulations to the lions" they were trying to be excited and all but it was just... Not a very exciting ending. At least no one had to worry about being set on fire anymore. It was worrying how attached first years were to incendio.

Notes: This duel has come to a forced forfeit due to the ravenclaw team not posting for two consecutive rounds
