Whispers of the Dark
The pitter pattering of the rain was so calming to him. He felt like it was the most unique experience he could have gone through. He took a deep breath, ignoring what was being said for a second and exhaled. He repeated the process a few times, allowing the peppermint smell to fill his nostrils. It was really.. minty and he was not complaining. It was kind of cool.
The Gryffindor elder had nothing much to say so he might as well begin, right? There were only five people standing in the group so far: Winnie, Evelynn, Cassius, Allister-James, and Opeila. This shouldn’t take too terribly long.. Right?
He slammed his hands onto the cold, hard walls with as much force as he possibly could, loud slapping noises, the skin peeling off of the wall as he retracted them. “It’s time to begin.”
The lights went out.
This time, the lights stayed out for approximately 3 minutes. When he felt it was time to turn back on the light, Noah cackled. Another one down. He saw the red imprint, the red mark from the contact of the orange plastic against Eun-ji’s forehead. He shot her a wicked smile, “You’re deaddddddd.”
He so badly wanted to seem like more of a jerk but golly, he already summoned rain on them, and that reaction from Winnie made his day. It wasn’t often that he could manage to piss of someone, as normally it would be his brothers that tick him off and not the other way around. At least in this setting, Noah had a way of doing controlled recklessness.
He sucked the air through his teeth. Well. Time to announce who the eliminated is? Nah, no one is out. They’re still in. “Guys, no one has voted anyone out. There has been no majority.”Information Section: Please ReadReducioInformation

Notice
Every mod post, you will notice that the light goes out every time there is a murder. The light stays out for 1 minute to allow the murderer to conceal the weapon in some way and to avoid suspicion. When the light goes out, you'll hear a bang from the nerf gun and if you feel yourself getting shot with a foam bullet, you have been killed. You may lay down on the ground and play dead. You may find a funny pose to be in, whatever. When the light goes back on, a vote will be held to accuse someone of the murder.
I've been accused of a murder! What do I do?
Well dearie, you would've been considered "executed" if the majority votes you as murderer. This means that you are out. The game is over when all of the players are dead except for the detective and murderer, or when the murderer has been accused and executed.
How do I vote?
Every round, you need to send me an owl of who you're voting or accusing. Additionally you MUST post otherwise your vote will be seen as invalid.
I did not post for a round or more, what happens? (if you don't send me your vote but post, it's okay, don't worry about it.)
The murderer will likely kill you the next round.
I'm the murderer! What happens now?
Post each round. Send me your target via owl. In Character, when the lights go out, you can pull out your nerf gun and shoot your target. You will have the rest of the minute to hide the gun or conceal it.
I'm the detective! What happens now?
Post each round. Send me your accused victim via owl. You cannot be killed.
I'm a doctor! What happens now?
Post each round. Send me your accused victim via owl. There will be a second blackout in the mod post in where you will have a CHANCE of healing the shot victim.
I was a shot victim! I was healed!
Good for you, you may continue in the game. However, one of your limbs have been ic AMPUTATED so in roleplay, you would not have that limb because the doctor amputated the shot limb.
What if I have to leave Out of Character and I'm the Murderer or a Doctor or a Detective?
That's fine, just please notify us at some point. We will owl another person and give them an additional "title" for their character that they are already playing. For example: Baker is now Murderer but still the same character, you don't gain another. When it comes to a detective and a doctor, unfortunately, we won't pass it on. The game continues until its over.
Please note: We are taking actions via owl so that actions and votes are anonymous to keep the mystery. What you choose to say or do in your post whether ooc or ic can be used against you so do your best to keep your "secret" role anonymous. If you are a detective or a murderer it can be used against you if you say it out loud. We suggest coming up with an undercover job to conceal the fact. Not required, you could be vague, but what you say and do whether oc or ic can be used against you.Mod Post Content: Mods

| xxx | 𝓐 month ago, Evelynn would have scoffed at the notion of growing weary of @Pericles Dralt's commentary. As one of the more intellectual of their peers, his words could hold her attention with ease regardless of what they spoke. She had found his musings—from theories about the best ratio of cocoa for the best cup of hot chocolate to the best method of extracting essence of Dittany—to be endlessly captivating. They could—and had on many occasions—talk for hours on end about just about everything and anything. In this precise moment, however, his dulcet tones had never been so grating. Every word out of his allegedly deceased mouth shot barbs to hook into her shoulders, leaving her frame tense and jaw set. If she wasn't certain it would have gotten her thrown out of the game, she might even have entertained the idea of silencing him. He was trying to get under her skin, and it was working.
"For the record, I seem to have been shot, not poisoned." "Have some imagination," Evelynn muttered flatly, shooting the very dagger eyes that Pericles so masochistically sought. "You were shot by a Nerf gun. It is merely the out-of-character tool used to denote the killing. It could symbolize death by any number of means, otherwise how anyone could be voting for me at all is beyond me. Neither me nor my character have ever held a gun. "And no, it is not suspicious at all," Evelynn clipped, turning back on Winnie at the unfair insinuation. "You have all been circling in on me since the very start with absolutely no evidence to support the claims. I am justifiably defending myself against misguided accusations of murder now, just as I had been defending myself against the doctor's rumours of—" The weight of a coat fell upon her shoulders, the interjection of such a gesture in the face of the mutually-disdained arrival of rain dampening some of her agitation. "—poison.." She had pulled her expression off of @Winnie Harper to look towards @Allister-Jameson MacAllister, her expression taken aback, though flecked with amusement at his gesture despite the silver sheen of the magical umbrella that she continued to hold aloft. As he departed just as quickly to scrounge for covers for the rest of them, she couldn't help but breathe an airy sort of laugh at his earnestness. But ultimately, shook her head, mumbling, "For heaven's sake.." Gripping the lapels of AJ's coat to draw it close around her, Evelynn gave her other wrist a small flick to rid her wand of the umbrella. Lids squinted against the falling rain as she swiftly pointed it towards the clouds that had collected above them, incanting, "Meteolojinx Recanto!" Several times, if she had to, until the last of the rain had stopped falling.
"Try that again," she purred, turning a narrowed gaze upon @Noah Jupe, "and I am certain your upperclasswomen would be more than happy to provision you with a demonstration of lectures to come for you." She didn't even pretend to wrap her very blatant threat as a jest. You didn't mess with a woman and the effort put in to her look. "As for avoiding your question," a weary expression swiveled to @Eun-ji Lee Hunt. "I had taken it as rhetorical. I am a baker. As much as I would like to say otherwise, it it not entirely uncommon to have to contend with mice and rats, for which rat poison is an effective deterrent. I know my way around it as well as any in my profession, and yet I am sure that would be used against me. But go on. Continue to divert attention away from other suspects. I am sure your position will continue just as well as it did for Mister De Luca." Again the lights would go out and again the sound of a soft pellet bouncing off a surface would sound. When the lights returned, Evelynn's gaze shifted immediately to Miss Hunt to see if the second attempt had been successful. It seemed it had. At the revelation that, once again, the vote had failed to succeed, she sighed. "And another one down..." Evelynn lamented, returning to the game at hand, her wand held at an angle not dissimilar to a cigarette holder common to the era. At this point, she was growing rather bored of the game and found herself aligning to Pericles' previous hopeful sentiments that this could be wrapped up quickly so that they might return to the dance. "The murderer is certainly making strides while we circle without direction. Whoever you elect to vote off, at the very least align yourselves.. "At this point, there are five of us remaining, but only three options for the murderer: myself, the bartender, or the general store owner. Not the detective—" She said this with a pointed look to AJ that very much said how-could-you-have-possibly-voted-for-the-detective before shifting her gaze over to Winnie. "—because in these games, the role of the detective is to identify the murderer. They often have a special ability to point out one person during the blackout and reveal the goal of that person, though the exact mechanic varies from game to game. They are always innocent, though. "Going forward, since there are five of us remaining we will require three votes for a majority. I have attempted to defend myself and explain why the pattern of deaths is inconsistent with my role as murderer. Given my previous explanation of who I would expect to be the murderer given the order of deaths, I still hold belief that it is Winnie, a theory compounded by the 'slip' at the beginning saying her goal was to 'avoid dying'." Once again pulling her invitation from her pocket, she allowed her gaze to pan over it. "Mine says something different." And so did that of Pericles', though she kept that to herself. Grey hues flicked up to the rest in turn, though rested most heavily upon @Opeila Winters and @Cassius Eden since it was their votes she was trying to sway. "What of the rest of you?" |

AJ looked up as the rain began to clear away from the sky above them all. He was still soaked through, but at least now he might dry off a tad. "Heh, een mujuck jes' swull?" "Heh, ain't magic just swell?" He jokes, a slightly self deprecating nod to his own failure to remember that magic could've solved many of this evenings issues for him.
The arguing...or...well the playing of the game continued, even if it sounded like arguing. The group was struggling to come to a consensus, a fact not aided by the slightly off-vibe amongst the partygoers. AJ opened his mouth to speak up before the dreaded lights went out once more, and the familiar pop of the nerf gun sounded out. When the lights came back on he started to walk towards Eun-Ji to see if he could work his Doctor magic, but when he realised where the dart was placed his face fell. Once again, he was useless. "Gah! Am...ahm sorreh, cannae fex tha' wen." "Gah! I'm...I'm sorry, can't fix that one." He apologises, meeting the girl's gaze for probably the first time this evening. His expression was one of evident frustration. The fact that even in this made-up fantasy game he was still of little use when it mattered.
He turned to look at Opeila for a moment, his brow creasing slightly. "Dus th'dutuckev nae 'ave ah pooer tha' ken nurroo thes doon." "Does the detective not have a power that can narrow this down?" He asks the question whilst looking towards Opeila, but it was really addressed to everyone present. "Am noo jeanyus, bu' ah feggure af whee dunnae ge' i' reeght on th'nux voot th'kuller's gunna feenully hafta kull me oor th'detucktev." "I'm no genius, but I figure if we don't get it right on this next vote the killer's gonna finally have to kill me or the detective." He explains. "An' ef et goos doon leek tha', es beein' wron' an' th'kuller kullin' ah cenfurmed unnuhcen'. Thun es ah fufteh fufteh ah tha' peent." "And if it goes down like that, us being wrong and the killer killing a confirmed innocent. Then its a fifty fifty at that point."

Whispers of the Dark

| (@Evelynn Decipio) (@Eun-ji Lee Hunt) (@Allister-Jameson MacAllister) (@Cassius Eden) (@Winnie Harper) |
┏ ┓ Perhaps to those unfamiliar with him, Pericles could pass as a convincing date. Eun-ji understood better. His gentility was a product of his upbringing: as they quietly conversed beneath the umbrella, his smiles carried a casual warmth, though his eye was often elsewhere. The space he sustained between them was one of respect and emotional distance. Even when the foam bullet found its mark, he tutted and reached, yet his concerned hand hovered over the mark before drifting to his side again. His mind was elsewhere, and the source of his distraction would be his downfall. In spite of convoluted circumstances, as AJ admitted he had voted for the detective, it was still difficult to be cross with him. The golden retriever in Gryffindor form went about distributing rain cover as their Pluvia Velos took shape. "Oh...tha' meeks meer sunce ah 'spose," he had admitted. Peri shrugged appreciatively all the same. Despite being "dead", he didn't envy the healer's role. His success seemed like a matter of luck rather than skill. While the Ravenclaw couldn't pin if his frustration was a product of the game, he felt compelled to reassure him all the same, offering "Good of you to keep us from the cold, 'doctor'." He even forced a smile, albeit a short-lived one.
Being a ghost had its perks and drawbacks. Pericles could no longer contribute to the game, but there were no stakes involved, no prize to be won besides satisfaction. As most ghosts did, he resorted to people-watching. Although he inwardly agreed with Cassius that no one would be admitting their guilt, an eyebrow was quirked at the notion that Eun-ji "Marina" might still be a suspect after the last missed shot. Cass- "Miss Romano"'s innocence was still in question. His suspicions started to shift as Eun-ji weighed in with her observations on Evelynn "Mancini" and Winnie "Rossi". He had not so much as entertained the idea that Winnie's slip and subsequent card reading may have been a trick. It stood to reason, too, that the killer had shifted to targeting Eun-ji for joining him in accusing the baker. Frankly, Pericles hadn't even questioned if she could do something so underhanded, perhaps thinking Ravenclaw's Darling incapable of it. He could have underestimated her. She was sorted into a House known for creativity, skill, and strategy; maybe it wasn't just because of her knack for fashion.
The nail in that coffin came, in the end, from Evelynn herself. Her prickliness hadn't been lost on Pericles. She was tired of his commentary, and the feeling was about to become mutual. "Have some imagination," the cat sniped. He had willfully interpreted her jabs as part of some charade. It was how they played, in words and as animagi, the eagle often flying just beyond the great cat's reach. Yet Eve clearly clipped a wing this time. Realization manifested in a taken-aback stare, the trace of a coy eye and goading grin gone. Visibly thrown off, he shifted on the spot. A shadow of unease passed over his gaunt face. There followed the furrow of his forehead as he processed the reality of his situation, obscured quickly by a wall of guarded neutrality. Verbal swats, avoiding his looks, only addressing him when she was going into lengthy diatribes about how wrong he was. Worse of all was that tone as empty and icy as a frozen wasteland. As much as he wanted to blame these micro-aggressions on the game, that illusion was shortly shattered. This was not one of their usual games.
Eve had gone sharp, unwavering in her determination to be right. He knew she was committed to success, yet using his card to prove a point was an act of unusually poor sportsmanship. Either he was seeing a new side of her or something was off. He might have wondered what it was, would surely be concerned with a clearer mind, but tonight his heart was on his immaculately tailored sleeve. "I still hold belief that it is Winnie, a theory compounded by the 'slip' at the beginning saying her goal was to 'avoid dying'," she was carrying on. "Mine says something different. What of the rest of you?" Being told to play in-character one moment, hearing her utilize out-of-character knowledge the next to justify a point, hurt compounded into bitterness. The well of patience he had built for his friends ran astonishingly deep, though in that a moment, one could catch a rare glimpse of the bottom. A thought jolted across the gap between them like a bolt of electricity. Offense and injury compounded into dejection, framing a sullen accusation: Is that what you were doing when you read my card? 'Having some imagination?' But if it pulled a glance, he would not be found speaking aloud, nor would the wounded look linger. Pericles' expression was one of calculated disinterest as he sighed and spoke softly to Eun-ji. "It seems we've lost the game. Would you prefer to stay for the grand finale, or could we consider going somewhere a little less...." His upper lip curled as gaze strayed from the soggy snacks, to the watered-down drinks, to the small circumference of dry floor beneath their umbrella. "...damp? I need to clear my-" head "-nose. Of the mint." He had attended the game to have fun, not to win, and in that moment was doing neither.┗ ┛

Whispers of the Dark
Eun-ji was already prepared for what's to come. She didn't think the killer would spare her and she doubted they would miss the second time. In truth, she didn't really wish them to fail either. The collaboration was clearly less than ideal and most people present weren't having much fun anymore. On top of all that, Peri’s confidence seemed to falter after a brief out of character exchange with Eve. It was one thing to be snippy as part of her role but at this point, Eve's mood somehow carried over to the direct interactions as well, which Eun-ji didn’t like. She would be fine if the Gryffindor acted cold towards her. She was meant to be her competition after all and she was there for the redhead to realise her feelings for Peri. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out quite as well as they hoped. Instead, Evelynn seemed so hyper focused on winning the game that she couldn't spare Peri any deeper thought. At least that's what it looked like. Shame…Full Outfit * @Allister-Jameson MacAllister, @Evelynn Depicio, @Winnie Harper, @Mathias Pride, @Cassius Eden, @Opeila Winters, @Pericles Dralt
The Ravenclaw rubbed her forehead absent-mindedly, frowning at Noah's joy over the fact that yet another innocent citizen died as opposed to addressing the group’s concerns regarding the rain in any way. She was not even going to pretend to play dead. No way was she laying down on a wet floor. Eun-ji did not mind rain but there was always the right time and place for everything and this was certainly not it. “Agreed.” She nodded, when Evelynn issued a threat against him. They may have been at odds during the game but this? This, she could get behind one hundred percent. Not that she was eager to stay much longer even if either Noah or her managed to cancel the spell. Unless Peri wanted to stick round of course. In that case, she would support him, no questions asked.
“Don't worry about it too much, Dr. Moretti. I promise I won't come back to haunt you.” Eun-ji patted AJ's shoulder in what she hoped was an encouraging manner. He seemed hesitant when talking to her, though she could hardly blame him. The subtle coldness she projected on the outside was there precisely to ward off any overly friendly people…or well… people in general really. Lately, she found she didn’t even have to try to appear unapproachable. It was both convenient and somewhat scary. Therefore, as usual, the young witch refused to ponder about said discovery any longer than strictly necessary. “Even the best doctors have bad days and indeed, none of them could probably fix my fate.” She added with a tentative smile.
In reality, people survived head shots far more often than one might assume. Hell, there was a boy that was harpooned through his skull and lived to tell the tale. Her second point however, she meant with all her heart. Eun-ji would know. Both of her parents worked in medical field and despite their unhealthy, borderline obsessive dedication to their craft, she'd seen them fail many times throughout their careers. It was simply impossible to save everyone. Besides, it's not like the citizens or the detective did much better job than AJ so what was there to be upset about?
Afterwards, Eun-ji took time to listen to Evelynn's next speech. She took in all her arguments but for most part didn't get anything new except perhaps stating her card was stating something else than Winnie said at the beginning. Eun-ji wasn't keen on playing the game that way and it could have been just a slip of tongue but at least it was something. The Ravenclaw just wished Eve clarified that immediately instead of just smiling after reading Peri's card and expecting others to blindly follow her. Not that it mattered now. Eun-ji was dead and decided to leave the murderer's fate to the living. Instead, her whole attention focused back on Peri, who looked a bit uncomfortable to her perceptive gaze. She leaned in to listen to his request and nodded, understanding his message loud and clear. If he was feeling trapped here and things clearly weren't going well, it was better to leave. The real couples could flirt just fine without their assistance and perhaps catching Eve outside of the game, where her competitiveness didn't overshadow her inner feelings, would make things easier for their plan.
“I'd love that. Corpses don't do well in the rain anyway.” The witch retorted with a gentle smile. She just hoped the gala was still intact enough for them to share at least one dance. That was one thing, she was genuinely looking forward to this evening. Hooking her arm with Peri’s, to make sure they were both covered by his umbrella, Eun-ji took a step towards the exit before hesitating and turning to look at Eve. “For the record, I did vote Mr. Rossi this round. I said he was not out of my suspects list and I wanted to see if perhaps I was the only one that didn't see the picture you painted. Alas, it seems like your arguments were not as ironclad as you'd like to believe. I do appreciate the effort though.”
That was not entirely honest statement. While Eun-ji did sincerely appreciate her activity in the game, it almost felt like her hunger for victory far overpowered her desire for working together as a team. Still, she did try and that was to be commended. “Enjoy the rest of the game and may the odds be ever in your favour, citizens.” She used a quote from one of her favorite books (Hunger Games) as a goodbye to the ones still in the game. It was a good thing this was not that kind of game. Eun-ji had a feeling most of them would not survive very long if that was the case. Although judging by his behaviour tonight, if nothing else, Noah would probably enjoy being a game maker.

Whispers of the Dark
Another round, another loop. Noah decided he would walk up to each present person in the group and ask them if they each want a mocktail. Sure, it was not real, nor cocktail, but still a drink nevertheless if not spicy at that. He looked at some of them through the pouring rain and could not help but feel slightly pitiful, only to crack a wicked smile, a Jim Carey grinch smile.
He scrunched his nose at the casting of the weather counter charm, the frequent casting of it. Bah, why not, they didn't seem to like being wet. The rainclouds disappeared, the peppermint puddles slowly disappearing from the ground, clothes slowly returning to the normal scent and not the heavy cloak of peppermint.
It was time to begin, and Noah was prepared. This time, he wasn't going to use his arms, but instead his shoes. He sat down on the ground to undo his shoelaces and slide the now-untied shoes off of his feet and he stood up to face each of them, his foot visible. He held onto the eyelet of the shoe and slammed the soles onto the walls as hard as he could, a louder bang, a louder slap. "LIGHTS OFF!" He proclaimed, again announcing the lights being turned off for the reason they would all come to know at this point. It was time for the murder.
A minute passed and the lights turned on.
The Jim Carrey smile struck his face again as he stared back. "None of you have been voted out. Congratulations, there is still a killer hiding amongst us, find them and eliminate them."Information Section: Please ReadReducioInformation

Whispers of the Dark

Drinking a mocktail and attempting to look coquettish was the best Cassius could manage in this moment. That and hanging onto @Opeila Winters' shoulder. Part of him was content to do just that. After all, it was their first formal outing together. Indeed, it was his first formal outing with any woman. So much of his time at Hogwarts had been dedicated to his studies and duelling that anything else seemed an undeserved indulgence. Summer Camp 2024 and a dance under the mistletoe had changed that perspective.
"Well, darlings. I will continue to defend my innocence. I have little motive to kill anybody save for the good detective here and if I wanted to do that I would have already." Cassius cocked his head to the side, batting thick eyelashes at his date and patting her cheek. "Do not worry, officer. I would not actually kill you. Just severely maim or cripple. I am quite protective of my product, you see." It took every ounce of his being not to say milk. Given the unfamiliar company, the pureblood made the conscious decision to retain some propriety.
Cassius eyed the contents of his glass, swishing it around in contemplation. "I find Miss Mancini's suggestion a palatable one given the lack of alternatives. I will vote for the pink one. Never did like the color pink. Too bright. Too happy. You won't find a lick of pink in my grocery store. Bloody frustrating to clean and too easy to stain." With a wave of a hand, he dismissed the idea of pink as a color of value. "What say the rest of you? If we are wrong then simply vote for Miss Mancini. It is as easy as that." @Evelynn Decipio
Action: Observing.

Whispers of the Dark
Noah began to pull the fake knife out of his pocket and he began to press it against the palm of his hand. It was almost as if if he was using it for fidgeting, but in reality, he was trying to figure out what he would do next. Sure, he wanted to see more and more them die but as the lights go out, it wasn’t like it was easy to see your target.
It would be like shooting your shadow in the darkest corner of the room.
He looked at the floor, before he looked up again, thinking… Should we begin? That was a question he began asking himself. He didn’t want to ask physically or verbally, so he would just go ahead and begin.
The lights out, the glimmer of the wet hair of everyone as the natural light refracted off of them. Noah looked around.
He looked up and down, left and right. He walked around each person he could see to see if they were hiding something.
Now, this was definitely a wait longer than the previous rounds, being at 5 minutes of lights-out. When Noah finished his evaluation, he walked back over the wall to bang his arms on it.
The lights went back on. There was no murder. No bullets fired. Nothing. He knew he didn't hear ricocheting.
He looked at the group and frowned as he put the prop knife back in his pocket, "None of you are eliminated."Information Section: Please ReadReducioInformation

Whispers of the Dark
Noah figured he’d end this round off ceremoniously. It was simple, all he had to do was do the repetitive. He walloped on the wall with his arms, the slapping noise ringing throughout the room. “Hey guys, we’re going to do this round differently from the last. I know you’re wondering what I mean by that, but it is rather simple. This is the final round, which means that instead of the lights going out and all, you all had a chance to submit your vote and try to eliminate the murderer.”
Did any of them submit a vote?
No.
“None of you were voted or accused as the murderer.” Simple right? Well now for the next step.. Noah would withdraw his retractable knife and walk around each person, trying to appear as dreadful and creepy as possible, waving his fake knife around. Sure, he looked like a fool from the outsider’s perspective, but he was trying to get into the groove.
He finally stopped upon the true murderer. He stabbed Winnie with the fake knife in their chest, smiling with satisfaction. “Well, well, well. If it isn’t Luca. Or should I say… WINNIE.” He looked at the others, “It seems you missed the major aspect, the fact that Luca never stated their true role in comparison to the rest of you. After all, why would a murderer say they are a hitman?” He frowned, demonstrating a face of fake pity.
“Oh well. You all are now free to go.” He stepped aside, allowing the group to leave.@Allister-Jameson MacAllister, @Evelynn Depicio, @Winnie Harper, @Mathias Pride, @Cassius Eden, @Opeila Winters, @Pericles Dralt, @Eun-ji Lee HuntT’was a close one.

And so, the game ended as it had begun. Suddenly and with minimal violence. Though given how much the bickering seemed to have bled over into actual arguing, maybe the violence was still yet to come. Regardless, to the victor, the spoils. AJ gave Winnie a brief but earnest round of applause, a big grin plastered on his face. "Feer plee t'yeh Wenneh! Yer ah meer roothluss kuller thun weh thought! Ah spose ah shed beh greetfull yeh didnae doo meh en." "Fair play to you Winnie! You're a more ruthless killer than we thought! I suppose I should be grateful you didn't do me in."
Despite having very little clue what was going on throughout AJ had rather enjoyed the game. He got the feeling Eve wouldn't share the sentiment however, given that her prime suspect had slipped through her fingers due to the lack of unity amongst the participants. Furthermore if anyone had their outfit ruined by Noah's little weather prank then AJ honestly feared for the poor boy's safety.
"Ehm, Ev...hoo boot weh heed ba' t'th' meen...bet? Ull tha' musterreh meed meh hungreh, an' ef yeh leek thun mebbe weh cood..." "Ehm, Eve...how about we head back to the main...bit? All that mystery made me hungry, and if you like then maybe we could..." He wanted to say 'have a dance' or something to that effect but he found the words just wouldn't manifest. "D-doo summen ulse?" "D-do something else?" He half-heartedly suggests.
