While he try to arrange his cloths he hear.

"...your brother anywhere,"

Ho right the tall girls, he think Avis? Ask for something about her brother early. Merlin, I really was out of it. He turn his head toward Avis and shake slightly his head, still avoiding eyes contact. He doesn't remember seeing someone resemble to her when he was searching.

"It's, uh, nice to meet you. I'm Jade. Jade O'Reilly."

So that the other girl name. When she fall silent he turn toward Jade and was about to introduce himself as she start talking again, with a small smile.

"So... are you all excited about going to Hogwarts?"

Hearing the question, gently, he quickly response
" Yes, I'm so exited to have Herbology and Care of Magical Creature, and you?" He also smile when he notice how tense she was.

“ Hogwarts is a funny name and I think I’m more exited then nervous how about the rest of you”
It was a mumbled that he almost miss it. Looking opposed to him it was the phoenix tail hair girl. "oh and I’m Kora, Kora Eliot” Was another mumble reply.

He saw she wasn't looking up, fallowing her gaze there was a book in her hand."Is that a Basilisk on the page?"He say with a half exciting and half curious voice. Whoops he thought he say it in his head. Far aways it seem it a Basilisk but some characteristic are odd, like it doesn't have horn on the head. Trying to read the cover title he can only distinct the word Snake.

Ira tilted her head, listening as Avis began talking about her brother. Why would Avis be looking for her big brother? Surely, he wouldn’t need her help. Maybe she needed him instead. Ira’s own younger sister always clung to her no matter where she went. Perhaps Avis was the same way.

"Sorry, I haven’t seen your brother. Did you lose him somewhere? Would you like some help looking for him?" Ira couldn’t say for certain, but she strongly suspected Avis’s big brother had lost her on purpose though she couldn’t blame him. It was a tactic she was all too familiar with.

Though Ira wasn’t thrilled about the growing crowd in her space, Ira assumed her discomfort would go unnoticed. But somehow, they all seemed to pick up on it anyway. At least most of them.

Ira plastered on her brightest smile to dissolve the tension. With any luck, no one would see through it. "Oh, don’t let that bother you. As I said, the more, the merrier," she spoke to Avis in a quiet, reassuring voice.

After Kora, who was practically glued to her book, introduced herself, Ira spoke up, “Nice to meet you all. I’m Ira Mythili Winslow Thornfield," before taking another bite of her chocolate and immediately wondering if she should’ve gone shorter but old habits die hard.

Everyone else had introduced themselves, except for the quiet boy beside her. Ira had caught him sizing up the group earlier and raised an eyebrow at him, amused by his silent scrutiny.

"Yes, definitely excited. I can’t wait to put my wand to use!" The excitement clear in her voice, she spoke to Jade. "Oh, I’m excited for Herbology too!" Ira turned to the boy beside her, her eyes lighting up. It was a pleasant surprise to find a fellow enthusiast.

Avis sighed. It seemed she'd stumbled upon yet another dead end, although Ira's interest in helping her look for her brother was very generous of her. Perhaps she would take her up on it.

"I suppose I did lose him. He wanted to play hide and seek and it turns out, he's rather good at the hiding part," Avis admitted to the girl across from her. "I wouldn't mind a bit of help if you're keen."

As everyone around the small compartment introduced themselves, Avis desperately tried to commit all their names to memory but knew she would fail miserably. She was never any good with names. She listened as a few students discussed what they were most excited about and she nodded along amicably until someone mentioned Herbology. Avis scrunched up her nose. She'd always hated plants, mostly because she'd been forced to work in Mam's garden every spring and had always been put in charge of weeding until she'd accidentally pulled up half of the carrots one year. Since then, she'd been banned from the garden and she'd never been happier. But seeing as gardening was about to become of her subjects at school, Avis wished she'd spent a bit more time in the mud.

"I have a feeling Herbology might not go so well for me," she mumbled in response to the others' excitement, "But I am excited for History of Magic. Always kind of loved learning about old stuff," she joked. Wizarding history had always piqued an interest with her for some reason.

Another girl mentioned that she thought "Hogwarts" was a funny name and it suddenly struck Avis that not everyone might have been wizard born. She couldn't help herself as her curiosity cut into the conversation.

"I hate to pry, but is anyone in here Muggle born?" she asked suddenly, hoping she didn't sound rude.

Anaconda. The word ring a bell inside his head. "It kind of a version of a Basilisk for the muggle" so less deadly but not less beautiful. " They both have the title of being the king of snake, but if I being honest, the Basilisk is more deadly with his ability to kill with a simple glace" He fondly say but quickly add. " But of course the anaconda are a beautiful animal that I wish one day to meet and maybe grab if I have the chance" He was still avoiding direct eyes contact.

He also remember hearing the girl beside him-Ira Thornfield. Mmm? that last name is familiar - Say she was also excited to have Herbology, she also look quite tense and unease behind that smile. Without locking eyes he turn toward her to acknowledge with a big nod and a smile that he was happy to know someone who share same interest.

Although he feel bad for Avis with her quest of finding her brother, something he can highly related with him having also a troublesome older brother. He listen to her dislike of Herbology but as well her interest in Magic History, she would love talking with his mother that her biological family is specialize in that. He was about to share it when he hear the second sentence.

"I hate to pry, but is anyone in here Muggle born?"

Ho right, blood class.

“my mother is a muggle if that’s what your asking sorry if it’s not”

It always weird afterward when blood class are being bring, especially when you are either a muggle born or a pure-blood. Then you have the famous judgment that they unknowing doing. Without knowing his face slightly tense. He really don't want to go in that hole, but well it will be more awkward not to response it. He turn His head so it toward Kora. " That mean you are a half blood since I presume your father is a wizard but don't worried it not uncommon. To which a Muggle-born have none." He gently say with a smile. He shift his head toward Avis but with a slight strained smile " Has for me I'm a pure-blood"

Well, well, well... Now that Avis seemed to accept Ira's offer, Ira, forming a good sense of the situation, found her mind hesitating for a moment. Typical. He’d pick this crowded train to play hide and seek. How else would he dodge his sister?

Avis seemed genuinely intent on finding her brother. Ira kept her musings to herself, unwilling to upset Avis. What if she cries? Handling tears was the last thing Ira could deal with right now, and wouldn’t risk discovering whether Avis would cry over this or not.

"Sure thing! I’d be glad to help-" she started but nodded towards her chocolate and added, "- How about we look after I am done with this? I need a little energy boost first for all that walking."

Ira reached behind her leg, digging into her trunk, she pulled out a handful of chocolate bars. "In the meantime, why don’t you have one too? You like chocolate, right?" Ira, then looked around all, "I’ve got enough to share with everyone." One by one, she aimed a bar into everyone’s lap, then went back to eating hers, savoring it very slowly.

Ira remained silent as Kora and the boy were discussing about snakes. Ira sat silently, listening without interrupting. Snakes weren’t her topic of interest. If she had to talk about them, it would only be about the time her cousins pulled a snake prank on her. Considering no one would likely be interested, she kept quiet.

When Avis asked if anyone there was a muggle-born, Ira simply shook her head. It completely unexpected, It felt like an odd question to ask out of the blue. Ira watched as everyone shared their blood status.

Ira noticed Jade’s uncertainty as she shared hers, probably wondering whether it was safe to share. Ira smiled warmly at her. Outside of school, Ira was well aware of the prejudice surrounding blood status. While she secretly took pride in being a pureblood, Ira didn’t harbor any personal animosity toward those of other blood statuses and he had no idea how blood status would be perceived at Hogwarts.

Ira nodded in agreement to the boy's words. When he offered to help Jade, Ira added with a smile, "I'd be happy to help too."

Avis grimaced as an awkward air filled the compartment after her impulsive question. She’d been curious to see if anyone had experienced Muggle life on a deeper level than she had and was itching to ask a few questions but blurting out a question about blood status in a cabin full of young wizards had probably not been the best way to go about it.

Still her interest was piqued after Jade mentioned her status as Muggle born and Avis filed the information away for later as Ira offered her assistance and a chocolate bar. Avis reached across and took the sweet with a grateful smile.

“Of course, we can look whenever you’d like. Thanks!” Avis said, holding up her now unwrapped bar of chocolate. She bit into the top and relished the lovely sugary taste before turning to Jade.

“While we’re here, do you mind if I ask you a question or two? I’ve lived around Muggles… that is, regular folk I guess… for my whole life but I’ve never lived as one,” she said matter-of-factly through a mouthful of chocolate, hoping she wasn’t being too bold. Apparently she had a magnified streak of confidence today and paired with curiosity, the two traits made a deadly combo at times.
