What an escalation
2th September, 20.40 after dinner
Fortunately, Sabrina knew where the Hospital wing was and the quickest path to get there, as she went to look for it yesterday. It was an automatic notion for her, to check those things out first chance she got in a new place, perks of having a mediwitch mother, she supposes.
Still, it was a bit difficult to manouver the delirious slytherin girl through the hallways and up three sets of stairs. In the end they managed to do just that, Karinas head tipped back, Sabrina's sleeve bloody where she bunched it up, pressing it against the other girls wound as she had nothing else to do it with, all of her stuff left at the library table.
"And we're here!" Sabrina announces, breathless as she's basically been supporting both of their weights half of the time "Right so eh, what can you tell me about mandrakes?"
She has taken to maintaing an at least half intelligible conversation to keep the other girls focus. It was the only information on head injuries she was able to dig up from her prior knowladge - keep the person concious. First, she tried asking questions, prompting the other girl to talk about topics ranging from her family to the plot of her favorite book. It kept Karina thinking and talking, but after a while, Sabrina began to run short on ideas. In a moment of despiration, she blurted out a question on the History of magic. That seemed to work just as well, so she switched to quizzing her on any and all subjects, already going through history and a bit of charms.
(Of course not all of her answers were correct and some were downright absurd but at least she talked.)
She sat Karina down in one of the chairs nearby, actually wobling on her feet a bit, getting used to the absence of the other girls weight against her. She clasps her shoulders, to get her attention and steady herself again.
"Okay, I'll go get someone. Press the cuff of your sleeve against your forehead," she guides her hand there, "like this. Stay here, I'll be right back"
She shoots her a quick smile before leaning back, swiveling on her heel, looking around for someone who could help.

Sabrina asked Karina something about Mandrakes, and Karina replied with only a nod. Karina could tell that Sabrina didn't like that reply. So Karina had to make something up. Still, her head was bleeding.Outfit:Reducio
"Mandrakes are little pigeons that fly in the stars, did I get it right?"
Karina looked at Sabrina, who stared blankly at her before telling Karina to put her cuff on her head. Karina yanked her head away as Sabrina helped her press her cuff onto her head. Karina groaned, she didn't enjoy being in a place like this, it's too.....white.
Just as Sabrina left, Karina knew she just had to spice up this place a bit...
Karina found some medicine in the cabinets, opened their lids, and poured them all over the curtains, staining them purple! She found some blue medicine, and spilled it all over her bed! She also poured some clear and white medicine all over the floors, having people slip when they enter and exit.
Karina then mixed up all of the labels on the pill jars. She also stuffed tissues everywhere! In the corners, on the windowsills, on the edges of the bed, and even in some cabinets.
Karina couldn't sit in the room waiting for Sabrina to return, so she silently collected her belongings; her shoes which she had token off before going into bed and her sweater-vest. She crept out, looking to see if anyone was around, and she was off.

In the end, she managed to wave down a free hospital wing assistant. She was just explaining to him what had happened, her hands dramatically flailing around while he patiently nodded, as they neared the spot where she has left Karina. He abruptly came to a stop, eyes widening, which confused Sabrina, who walked a few more steps before slowing down herself, following his line of vision.
In an instance, she understood his shock, her own eyebrows shooting up to the roof, jaw on the floor as she regarded the state of the room. Karina probably managed to get her hands on some coloring as there were blue and purple smudged fingertips all over the white curtains and bed wear. The floor was slippery with some foreign white substence, the huge puddle almost reaching to where Sabrina and the intern stood. Her eyes darted around the space, speechless, feeling her cheeks heat up.
Sabrina didn't mind practical jokes, or a bit of rule breaking, but this was a bit much for her too. In a way, it felt as a betrayel. As if Karina left her to face the consequences of getting caught. Of course, this wasn't her fault, but still, she felt responsible. She might've even been a little angry if it wasn't for the fact that the culprit, Karina, was missing.
Making rushed apologies to the hospital wing assistant, who to his credit already pulled out his wand to fix the place up, she quickly backed out of the room, almost sprinting once she was in the hallway, frantically looking for the slytherin girl. Fortunatelly, she hasn't made it too far, standing just a few corners away be a window, looking a little dazed, holdimg her shoes, which she presumably took off.
"Hey!" Sabrina called out, givinh way to both her relieve and mild agitation. Upon catching up to the girl again, she grabbed her foream, as if to make sure she doesn't run off again. "I told you to stay there!" she snapped, pouting. "Where were you even going? You need to get help, Karina. Come on, let's go back."
She ordered, half dragging the other girl back into the hospital wing, which the hospital wing assistant seemed to turn back into its original state. Sitting her down on the bed, Sabrina took the task of putting Karina's shoes back on for her, bending down to do just that as the kind - and seemingly endlessly patient - hospital wing assistant checked Karina's injury.
After a deep humm and a nod, he said that the book that hit her must've been enchanted, confounding her, which resulted in her rambling about nonesense. He managed to heal that with a potion, healing the scrape in her forehead with a simple episkey spell - saying that it wasn't even deep, that the head injuries always bleed so much, which admittedly comforted Sabrina a little.
After a quick goodbye, he left again, leaving the two girls alone. Sabrina felt a bit quilty, having since cooled off, not even realising that her frustration came from a place of worry, not frustration.
"Sorry," she mumbled, looking down at her feet, "I didn't mean to shout," she looked up a small smile tugging at the corner of her lips again, "that was a little crazy, huh? How do you feel?"

What an escalation
Dusana sat at desk, watching the two girls come in and take space at one of the beds. A untouched cup of jasmine tea sat beside her, the newest patient files sitting in front of her. She'd allowed one of her assistants to handle the case, since she had been busy with patient files when they had come in. But now, she had all the time in the world. All the time in the world to watch one of the little brats try and mess with her things. Except, she'd been broken into before, and now she had safety measures and safeguards in place. She sighed, waving her wand to fix the floor, cleaning the messes made and removing the tissues that had been shoved everywhere. Did this little girl really think she could get away with this behaviour in a busy hospital, patients, assistants and herself to boot?
Pushing herself up from the desk with both hands, she pushed her wand into her puffy long sleeve, and strided towards the girls. The one that had been injured had gone and got the troublemaker and for that Dusana was appreciative. She tsked and shook her head at the two. "Messing with my Hospital Wing with me right there? Did you also hit your head or are you just that dumb?" She glanced at the girls in more detail. "I hope you're alright. If you're fine, you may go. Your troublemaking friend here," she narrowed her eyes, "will be serving detention with me."
Sabrina Lyons, you are not in trouble, and are free to leave the thread. Katrina Eaglewood, you are in IC trouble and will be serving detention. I will be owling you more about this.

Karina looked up, she was awake. She was free. She ran from Sabrina, covering her face, she was embarrassed. She came into the hospital room that she remembered messing up. Looking around the hospital room, before anyone came in she knew she had to get to work, or else she would be in trouble! She went straight onto cleaning the bed. She managed to get the medicine off of the curtains, but just as she began collecting the tissues, a professor came in. Karina rushed to clean the rest of the room. It was almost perfect, but still looked a little messy. Karina looked up, in tears she began to apologize to the professor as she mentioned the word Karina hated the most; detention.
Karina knew she didn't belong at this school, she's just a trouble maker, she is not anything like how her parents imagined.
"I-I am so so sorry. I don-n't know w-what has gotten into me, I didn't mean to mess thing-gs up in here. Please forgive me, something happened. I couldn't control myself, it was like someone cursed me or something."
Karina, still cleaning bits of crumbed pills, realized the puddle on the floor and ran to grab the mop. She scrubbed, and scrubbed, wondering if the professor was still standing there. Karina looked up and sighed, she knew she wasn't the ideal student, but she never meant any harm. She adored all people wiser than Karina, and she never wanted to put anyone in a painful position. And then it hit Karina.
"THE BOOK!" It was the book that had hit me and caused me to receive a terrible concussion! It made me feel all weird and I wasn't in control of my own body. Professor Sabo, please forgive me! I don't know why I ever thought of misbehaving. I'm not like this, really."
Karina was now on her knees, begging. She didn't know why, but she was feeling horrible. Suddenly her head began to hurt so much that Karina passed out.
