No I meant something like: this is another character that is completely unrelated to my character. basically a made-up oc for the purpose of the story RP

sure! you can do that, or you can do in first pov, just make sure you have zero mention of house, or name!

Adding on to what Brooke was saying, you can always use a pseudonym if it'll help keep you right. If you choose to, make it obvious it is a pseudonym/made up character and not referencing you at all - even add a wee key like "x name = pseudonym" etc. Again, just make sure there's no indicating your name, house or anything like that

In the lesson, you are listing that it surely doesn’t protect you from the sun, but it surely does from the rain. You also mentioned how you do not know if it will protect you from hail and/or snow. Can I state in my answer that we do not know whether this charm is effective against snow or hail?

Are you asking us for canonical characters who have used this spell? If so, is this limited to the main series, or can we also use examples from other official Harry Potter installments still written by J.K. Rowling, such as Quidditch Through The Ages, Tales Of Beedle The Bard, The Cursed Child, etc?

I suggest using characters of the main series, you don’t need to search other books to find at least 3 examples. The wiki is helpful in this case. Also, many people (including myself) believe that the cursed child isn’t canon, so using these examples might be controversial
