Elvenia Moonshadow grew up in one of the wealthiest pure-blood families in the wizarding world. Her childhood home, a grand mansion, stood amidst vast, beautifully gardens with towering oak trees, marble fountains, and stone pools. The Moonshadow mansion with high-arched windows, detailed stone carvings on the walls, and tapestries that told the stories of their ancestors. Despite their wealth, her parents never flaunted their wealth. The mansion, though impressive, always radiated a warmth that made visitors feel welcomed rather than awed.
Her father, Eric Moonshadow, is a renowned Alchemist, while her mother, Calista, is a beloved author of both magical and Muggle works. Despite their success, they remained grounded and were fascinated by Muggle culture. This deep admiration for the non-magical world made Elvenia grow up with an understanding and appreciation for both sides, something that made her stand out among her peers. Her parents, though incredibly busy with their work, were sweet, loving, and always made sure to create a nurturing environment for her and her younger siblings, Aurora and Advik. Though siblings by blood, they had their fair share of squabbles, as most brothers and sisters do, but their bond remained unshakeable.
Elvenia is affectionately called "Ellie" by her parents. Her parents, with their kind and open hearted nature, frequently invited her friends over for sleepovers, grand birthday parties or simple afternoon get-togethers. Their mansion was often filled with the sound of laughter and joy, a place where friends gathered and memories were made. Though her parents’ careers occasionally left her feeling a bit lonely, especially when they worked late into the night or went on long trips, they always made up for their absence with gestures of love and care.
One of the constants in Elvenia's life, however, was her love for the stars. She developed a fascination with astronomy at an early age, captivated by the mysteries of the universe. Her room with dark blue walls were illuminated by enchanted stars that glowed faintly at night. A prized telescope stood at her window, a gift from her family when she first expressed her passion. Countless nights were spent staring up at the sky, mapping constellations and dreaming of the vast unknown.
As a member of a Ravenclaw-dominated family, Elvenia’s family expected her to be a ravenclaw. When she was sorted into Ravenclaw during her first year at Hogwarts, her family could barely contain their excitement. They celebrated with a grand party, inviting close family and friends to mark the occasion. The mansion was decorated in Ravenclaw colors as they celebrated Elvenia stepping into the house of wisdom, where they believed she truly belonged.
Her father, always eager to see her thrive, encouraged her participation in numerous competitions and academic challenges. While Elvenia enjoyed the thrill of achievement, it sometimes became overwhelming. The pressure to succeed, especially with her family’s high expectations, made some moments feel more intimidating than fun. Still her natural wit, intelligence and determination pushed her to excel, knowing that the love and support of her family would be there no matter what.

Her first instance of underaged magic occurred when she was 6 years old. She had a toy, it was a toy cat, which was broken but her parents told that they would get her a new one but she didn't budge, Elvenia sulked and shown tantrums to her parents. But they knew it cannot be fixed and told her so. After some time the toy cat was already repaired, good as new. Her parents realised and was over the moon when she had her first instance of magic.

Wand length tells us a lot about a person. Those with shorter wands have more calm, refined personalities whereas those with longer wands have a flair for the dramatic
The flexibility of a wand shows how adaptable the wielder is. However, wand wood, core and the life of the wielder all play a part in this and it is not the flexibility alone that may determine this.

Elvenia Moonshadow’s first year at Hogwarts (2023-2024) was filled with exciting adventures, new friendships, and personal growth. Her journey began on September 1st, 2023, when she boarded the Hogwarts Express for the very first time. On that day, she met Sonya Herrera, a strong, muscular girl who quickly became her first friend.
A few days later, on September 3rd, Elvenia met her dorm-mate, Tracey and was surprised to discover that Tracey was a Metamorphmagus when her hair suddenly turned yellow during their conversation. This made the start of her Hogwarts experience even more fascinating.
By September 5th, Elvenia had settled into her new home at Hogwarts and wrote an enthusiastic letter to her younger brother, telling him all about her first days and how she was sorted into Ravenclaw.
As October approached, Elvenia had her heart set on getting a pet. After pleading with her parents, they finally agreed and on October 29th, 2023, she brought home a beautiful Silver Siberian cat named Snowball. The very next day, she crossed paths with Leaf Shard, a shy but cool girl who quickly became one of Elvenia’s close friends.
As Christmas approached, Hogwarts was adorned with magical decorations. On December 22nd, Elvenia wrote a letter to her sister Aurora, excitedly sharing the festive atmosphere at the castle and mentioning her plans to visit home during the holidays. After spending time at home for Christmas, Elvenia and her family attended a grand New Year’s Eve Gala at the Maverick Castle mansion on December 31st, 2023. The event was a special and unforgettable way to end the year.
Elvenia’s first year at Hogwarts was a blend of magical discoveries, meaningful friendships and heartwarming family moments.
