Nike is a woman and instead of having negative associations and myths like a lot of other goddesses she’s seen as a fierce warrior that everyone prays to for victory (mostly durning games but sometimes even in war)

And it fits well with Poppy because she’s going to be fiercely determined with school (and prob dueling) as well as competing in her sport
