Lea had had- a rather unfortunate summer camp. One that she was perfectly fine to leave as soon as possible. The only thing she would have patience for was duelling which thankfully this was. So long as no one tried to break the rules, Lea could watch over the contestants and take notes of the skills from other schools- maybe make sure everyone got the medical attention they needed should it come to that.
A small exhale and the Hufflepuff would muster up as much enthusiasm as she could, pulling upon her hope for the new year and an exciting finale to the summer camp. Hopefully everyone else had enjoyed their time and were ready to compete with some new friends or nice acquaintances. "Welcome welcome!" She'd extend her arms towards both sides of the duelling block, both currently empty as the contestants waited on the side for their names to be called. "We have four schools represented today- let's give a welcome to the team of Mahoutokoro and Koldovstoretz!" She'd bring her hands over to one side, taking in a big breath of air before racing through the names. "Let's hear it for Seraphina Thakore, Irina Zvereva, and Olya Valery!" Finally they'd be able to make their entrance as Lea waited for them to get situated and any cheers or murmurring to die down before she focused her attention onto the other side of the piste.
"And for our second team we have Beauxbatons and Durmstrang!" The routine would continue, Lea glancing up slightly as she recalled the names. "Welcome to the stage- Ruby Angélique, Agnès Laurent, and Axel Oliver Yulnich!" Lots of A names in this group, they would also make their way up to the block, another pause before everyone seemed prepped. For this match, she would actually ramble through the rules in case they were different elsewhere- they probably weren't, but just to be sure. A final glance between the groups and Lea would nod, finally getting to the good part- the duel itself. "Best of luck and may the best team win- BEGIN!"
Olya Valery [NPC] Information
Someone from the Mahou-Koldov team must post as the NPC within the round. The NPC will be differentiated from your iNPC by including the photo attached below and their name at the top of the post. The NPC will have access to all first year spells.
ReducioAppearance: Olya stands at a rather average height among her peers, making it easy for her to blend into crowds. Her gaze is almost always turned downwards, a distance in the deep brown eyes that can only be broken with intense focus or a loud call of her name. Her hair is often pulled back into some messy hairstyle that at least attempts to keep the golden brown strands from her eyes, although she is often seen readjusting some of the flyaway pieces.Name: Olya Valery
Year: Second
School: Koldovstoretz
Personality: Olya is known for being rather quiet yet dedicated. Akin to a ghost, she seems to always be around yet rarely draws attention to herself. She is rather positive, though, if often adrift in her own thoughts and questions around magic and the world around her. Everything has some fascination to her, hence her wandering attention. Despite that, she can be a good duellist if she manages to focus her thoughts and questions around the strategy of her team and her competitors.
@Daphne Sapphirus, @Eugenia Karageorgiadi, @Kiera Roseline, @Swan Clark, @Ari GwildInformationGood luck!

Roleplaying as approved iNPC Irina Liliya Zvereva
Irilya was ready. All this practice HAS to pay off. Since she started at Koldovstoretz, she had chosen the duelling path. Learning curses, hexes, charms and more. She was a duellist. And this was going to be her first international game. She looked at the stands seeing some fellow students she recognised. She HAD to make them proud. Meek herself proud.
She got up on the stage, flexing her arms and practicing wand movements. She had to nail it. And win. Next to her she saw her friend and classmate, Olya Valery [the NPC]. She smiled. Well, hello Olya. Time to win this match and bring some glory home. Koldovstoretz should be proud for having them. They were paired with a Japanese girl. Her school being Mahoutocoro. She looked down, ready to begin. Their Beuxbatons and Durmstrang enemies were going down. Let the best team win.

Roleplaying as NPC Olya Valery
Olya entered the arena that day excited, yet very nervous. On her side, she had a Japanese girl and her classmate Irina Liliya Zvereva. Like Irina, it was her first international duel. She considered herself a good enough duellist and would do anything to bring a win back home. Olya smiled at Irina’s words. Hi Iriliya! What a pleasure to see you here! Yes, we must do our best if we want to win. Let’s go! She quickly went quiet, not wanting to draw attention to herself.
She sat into position, ready to cast a spell. They had both trained for this moment so long. Some tactics began sprouting in her head. She mustn’t get distracted now. They had already agreed upon some stuff. It was time to put them to the test. Let the best team win. Looking at Iriliya she whispered. About time we show them who has the upper hand. Glory, here we come.

Summer Duels: Match 1
Here Axel was once again at Hogwarts's beloved summer camp. He didn't mind competing against their students. He was nervous, but he wouldn't let anyone see that. If he did, that would be equivalent to handing over the victory to the other team. That was unacceptable in his eyes. He would do his best here, and he wouldn't go down without a fight.
"Good luck, team," He spoke with a serious tone in his voice. Hopefully this would prove more fruitful than last year.

Roleplaying as Agnès Laurent
Should I say I'm stressed if I'm not and it's only adrenaline ? It is my really first duel so I don't know what to think... But I know that I have choose this sport because it looks really fun and I am really excited of it. Actually, I'm just really excessive with the word really and I'm ready to start. Wand in my hand, hair back to my ears, I think of the spell I am going to send and on who. I looked to my partners, and inhaled. Prête. Ready freddy. Was it a joke to lighten the too serious atmosphere of this duel? I don't know. But it's better.

First rounds could be particularly unnerving, still getting into the rhythm of the duel or not yet being able to anticipate how teammates and opponents would react. It certainly seemed as though these students were facing those same struggles as two locked up, seeming to blank on their involvement or perhaps having not properly heard Lea's call to begin. Thankfully the other four had realized as they readied their wands, but they wouldn't be without their own troubles.
Axel would be the first to act, finding a target in one Irina Zvereva as he went for force to conquer the opposing team. The oldest of them and thus supposedly most experienced, he would easily cast the Flipendo as the seriousness seemed to help his focus. Unfortunately it wouldn't help aim as Irina expertly maneuvered out of the way of the spell. It would rocket past without a chance, the girl moving with such a surprising speed and grace that she almost seemed to vanish for a moment. What effort was put into that dodge though would have to be sacrificed elsewhere. Irina would also cast a rebuttal Flipendo towards Axel, a sharp light that indicated a successful spell. The sacrifice would be in aim as instead the spell shot towards Ruby- certainly startling, but the second year managed to keep her distance with a slight instinctual sidestep.
Olya would attempt to back up her friend by also casting at Axel, this time with a Flame-Making Spell pointed at the boy. Unfortunately the Koldovstoretz student remained distracted by competing with her friend and the strategies they had in place and what all had just happened, that her wand sparked and flickered yet never managed to cast any flame to throw. Agnès appeared the last to react but the most calculated, finding the one opposing still person and deciding to force a reaction from them. Fire was certainly a way to do it, orange burning up on the wand before she tossed it across the block towards Seraphina. Despite a lack of casting from the Beauxbatons student, she had enough awareness to keep away from fire. It wouldn't be enough to keep her completely safe as the distraction with Agnès' precise aim created an unhelpful combo, but she managed to change the direct hit to a graze against her non-dominant arm. It would still certainly hurt, but it could have been a lot worse.
With the first round nerves out of the way, Lea was curious if the next rounds would bring more success. Only time would tell-

And with that, the duel began. Both she and Olya fired spells. She chose the Knockback jinx, it was a bit aggressive, but still, not too much. She cast the spell pretty good but her aim… It was her first international match so she was, understandably, really nervous. Her aim was not the best. She aimed for Axel, her spell almost hitting Ruby, but Ruby dodged. Uhhh. Can’t I calm down a bit? Better luck next time, I guess. She saw an incendio hit the Mahou girl. She’s bad at dodging stuff, I hope it didn’t damage her a lot, she looks frail. She herself dodged a Flipendo. Luck better be on her side next time…

Roleplaying as NPC Olya Valery
Olya was nervous. She was a fairly new duelist. Her brown hair was in a messy pony tail, she fiddled with her wand. And when the duel began, she wasted no time. But her spell… She tried to cast Incendio, but as the words came out of her mouth, she realized something was wrong. Was it the wand movement? Perhaps the pronunciation? She didn’t know. But her nerves had taken control once more, something she really wanted to avoid. Her class mate missed, but dodged a spell, while the Japanese girl got hit with fire. Olya took a few deep breaths, trying to calm herself down. They had to win this. Slow and steady wins the race.
