There was no use in acknowledging Choi's comment about her hair cleanliness, as Mari was beautiful. Sure, beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but that beholder was Mari, and she would not believe she was anything short of perfect. It really wasn't anything to do with her physical structure; she knew she was quite average-looking. But the matted hair, the blood-stained robes, and the toilet-paper crown were all just beauty marks and works of art. She was a fighter, after all, but fighters didn't battle it out on every little issue. Especially lies.

Unfortunately, it seemed that Choi and Riddle didn't care to elaborate on her beauty as much as she did, so Mari hummed quietly as they chatted about scary people or whatever. It was all unimportant. They weren't very cute, in all honesty, with their unusual eye colors and lack of artistic head decor. And they didn't really have much of a sob story, like Mari did. There was no reason to pity them. Unfortunate, but that was probably why Mari could never be friends with the Slytherins.

Or did they not have a sob story? Mari could not say for certain, but she felt a glimmer of suspicion as Choi commanded her to "shut up." Choi may be cruel, but she had never been so brash before. A concentrated stare affixed to her face, as she tried to stare deep into Choi's eyes to understand why Mari had felt so peculiar, the Hufflepuff couldn't help but grin in response to Choi's statement about the bathroom. It was beautiful, wasn't it? So pristine, with a shiny white glean...save the bloodstains. In what might have been the most tragic mistake of Mari's Hogwarts life, she was so focused on Choi's comment of the Porcelain Palace's beauty that she missed the "ridiculous things" statement. So when Choi told her to use her brain, Mari merely replied, "Oh! Well, it wasn't really in my plans but...sure?"

So she was a prefect. Just imagine how excited Mum, Dad, Lucy, and Grace would be! The image of her family finally feeling proud of her, instead of just annoyed at her lack of social skills or concerned about her traumas, made Mari warm inside. She had just gotten some sparks of what friendship was like, which had been a new feeling; was this new warmth what pride felt like? She began crafting the owl internally when Riddle said some gibberish to her. It was almost as if the fates were aligning in order to make this prefect thing a reality. Unfortunately, these two rebel-rousers were disrupting her creative flow; she would have to craft an owl as soon as these lunatics flushed themselves out of her Palace.

It probably hadn't been the best choice, then that she had tried to swipe the locket in the first place, but Mari couldn't help it - she just wanted to ruin Choi's life that much. And if ruining her life meant taking some useless locket? Sure, why not. Choi was certainly fighting way too hard for such a frivolous piece of decoration, and Mari just might be interested in finding out why she cared so much.

The lie slipped off her tongue quite easily: "No, that's actually my brother." It was a feeble lie, as clearly the boy in the picture would resemble Choi if she was telling the truth, but Mari was shocked at how quickly and confidently the lie slipped off the tongue, as well as its addendum: "He's adopted."

It was interesting that Choi said her brother's name was Oliver, as that was the boyfriend of Lucy's name, but Mari could not mull on that for long because Choi had actually grabbed her wrist and thrown it away and why had she done that no no no no no no!

Though the realization had come delayed, long enough for Mari to respond, the response still hit: she lost it. "You idiot!" She screamed at Choi. "How dare you touch me in my...my...Palace!" She vaguely heard Riddle ask why she was crying, having not noticed the towel's removal, and yelled, "Because...you two won't get out of my stuff! This is my spot, not yours, and you-" she looked at Choi "-are trying to take my pretty necklace and you - oh..."

Eyes met wand when Mari turned to Riddle. Her frenzy was broken; though tear streams glistened on her cheeks, the crying had stopped completely. In place was shock and a bit of fear. Dare she draw her wand? She had to, she couldn't recreate the Blossom Ball where she had just cried the entire time while others fought. Riddle was not nearly big or scary enough to pass for kidnapper, but still. Mari was a fighter, now...wasn't she?

Mari bit her lip but drew her wand as she eyed Riddle, fear and curiosity lurking behind her eyes. While she wanted to cast the first spell, be the fighter by protecting the Porcelain Palace, trepidation held her back. The old Mari invaded her soul, prevented the words inside from reaching her lips, while the new Mari - the prefect Mari - reminded her that casting spells outside of class was against the rules. So she would wait. Defending oneself was a reasonable excuse to get out of trouble, and if Riddle wanted to fight, there would be no reason not to. The small, fighting part of her mind merely waited and said internally, Bring it.

As I stated in my GH thread - and I know y'all know this but in the off chance someone reads - I wish no implications from this post that I am a prefect. I am very much aware that I am not one and am only furthering this delusion for plot. Plz don't ever owl me about prefect things unless you want some IC ramblings about toilets.

Good. Riddle should feel weird because of that smile. Because even Luna was scared of herself when she smiled as well. It was just too weird, even for her. But now she suddenly wondered, why did she feel it weird? Same went to the reason why she avoided troubles that much?

She had never thought about it in a serious way, to be honest. She had always used her mother as the reason why she didn't do it, but the lavender hair felt like she was missing something. But what was something? Luna put her right hand on the wall near her, started wondering and totally ignored the other two who were standing in this toilet with her. This was actually normal, it was like how she ignored others while learning in the Hogwarts grounds.

Lazy?

After a few seconds, this word popped up in her head. Luna and lazy, no one could imagine these two could fit, even herself. But it would totally make sense, why she always wanted to avoid causing herself into trouble. She didn't care about what people said after all. She was lazy to deal with troubles. And the lavender hair was too lazy to move her face, that was why she didn't want to smile. Yep, smiling made people tired, Luna was sure she wasn't wrong about this.

After all, look at these two people near her! Riddle only showed the face of people who were being careful of the people around them. Nothing else, because Riddle was probably lazy as well. Toilet Lover, on the other hand, was obsessed with crying. Talked about that, she was also too lazy to cry, Toilet Lover must have a lot of energies to do that every time they met each other. A big bravo for her, but Luna wouldn't actually do that of course.

Suddenly she felt something was weird, Luna slightly looked at her right palm, and almost changed the normal expression that was on her face to another weird one. Her palm, which was clean a while ago, looked really dirty with some dirt on it, and with Who-was-totally-not-a-clean-freak, this was a nightmare. A big nightmare! A nightmare that can't be forgiving! Luna closed her eyes, calming herself down.

Instead of keeping losing her emotion like last time, Luna didn't show anything on her face although she was secretly cursing the wall more than one hundred times. But now, she should calm herself down and think of a way to solve this. Using her tissue? No way, as if she would ruin it to clean her hand. The money wasn't a big problem, but she didn't just want to waste them on a small problem like this.

Her thought was interrupted by Riddle when that girl suddenly called Toilet Lover with the new nickname, Bloodbath. Right, the Toilet Lover... how could she forget that this girl was still here? She had an idea of how to deal with this now. And Riddle impressed her, this girl was actually good with sarcasm then Luna thought she would be. Not that she needed Riddle to be anyway.

Stop. Staring. At. My. Eyes. Luna avoided having eyes contact with the toilet lover. That woman, the person Luna didn't want to mention, had always said that people could easily guess others' emotions by looking at their eyes. The lavender hair's eyes usually didn't show anything through her eyes, but since she accidentally made an uncomfortable face, there was a high chance the uncomfortable word was written in her eyes as well.

Seriously... Toilet Lover needed to learn what sarcasm meant. She totally felt like talking to a little kid, not someone around her age. And well, her lie was so ridiculous. "Your adopted brother? Stop lying, unless you want to get detention." To be fair, even if Toilet Lover stopped lying, she would still give her detention. So, it was basically no use in doing that. Luna just said those empty words, and that was it.

"Miss, do you really think... she dares to take it without my permission?" Luna walked behind Toilet Lover discreetly but just stood there and didn't do anything next. What she wanted to do shouldn't be done too fast...

"Fridge?" That... That was a weird nickname. She had no idea why Riddle gave her that... or did she? No, actually Luna had an idea. Based on the conversation they had just have, it had a high chance that it was because Riddle couldn't see through her mask. But why Fridge, there were so many other names in this world...

Since Riddle gave her a nice nice nice nickname like that one, shouldn't she give this girl one as well? Ridiculous? That... If she disliked Riddle, using this was alright. But since she didn't, she shouldn't use it. She... was too lazy to make an enemy, so nope. Right, whenever she heard Riddle's first name, there was a word popped up on her head.

Coconut.

Yes, Riddle's nickname should be Kokonut, because it fits, somehow. It didn't sound bad anyway. After all, the person who gave her this nickname was Luna Choi, so of course it shouldn't be bad.

"Well Miss Kokonut, you do know what I am going to do with Miss Toilet Lover if she does that." What she meant here, was giving detention to Toilet Lover. The 12th rule of Hogwarts, no stealing in general. After proving that this necklace belonged to her, she would gladly give Toilet Lover a 'sweet' and 'nice' detention. And although she was lazy, giving this girl detention was like having fun, so she wouldn't mind doing it.

Of course, Oliver was her brother after all. He had to look nice, well, even if he didn't, Luna wouldn't let anyone say that. "Well... of course he does. He is a sweetheart after all." One of the only people who she wouldn't mind giving compliments, and saying it out loud. She could give others compliment, but Luna wouldn't say it. That was why he was special.

She looked at the poor towel which was thrown away, coughed twice. That, she sure didn't expect that to happen. Yes, the towel that she had just given Kokonut was nice, but... who knew the blond hair would do that? Poor the person who was passing by right now. Imagined you were walking, and suddenly a ratty towel was thrown at your face, and you had no idea who just done that. And the most horrible thing, that ratty towel came from the toilet. It, it would be very terrible. None of her business anyway, so let's forget about it.

Luna surprisingly looked at Kokonut taking out her wand. What was going on her head, trying to attack another person right in front of a prefect? "Miss Kokonut." She wasn't going to continue her sentence. This was enough of a warning. If it wasn't because Kokonut hadn't attacked, she would have given her detention. But she couldn't just let Kokonut attacked Toilet Lover. Although Luna was meaner now, a part of her was still wanting to bias the snakes. Of course, she only said Kokonut. What would happen next, totally depended on the blond hair, Luna didn't have anything to do with this anymore.

She stroked Toilet Lover's back, or at least, that was how other people saw from outside, and what Toilet Lover felt like. Only Luna knew, what she was doing wasn't that. She was trying to remove the dirt on her hand back then by wiping it on Toilet Lover's uniform. Childish? Yes, childish, but this was how Luna did her revenge. Other than mocking the target, she would 'attack' them from behind, like right now. "Calm down," now she wanted to throw up, although she was the person who came up with this idea. Being too nice to this girl would be weird, so she should quickly be mean again, "This place is for everyone, and as I said, if you kept lying," she stopped stroking, or wiping it on Toilet Lover's uniform. It wasn't because she felt bad, it was because her hand was clean now. Even Kokonut couldn't see the dirt on Toilet Lover's uniform, since she wiped it on her back. Which was perfect, she had done what she needed too. Luna stepped a few steps back, and continued her sentence, "I will not forgive you."

Just because I said you were bad does not mean that I am mean. It shows that I am honest.

Oh lord. This was not going to end well, was it? Koko wasn't sure what to think of this new development. A brother and an adopted brother... Who should she believe? Neither, in Koko's opinion, were trustworthy, but who was to say that Koko herself was? No one. Koko was one of the least trustworthy people in the world. Well... That was if you pissed her off. And this little snake wasn't pissed off yet. So they could stop thinking that they couldn't trust her.

Oh shit. Bloodbath had drawn her wand, too. Koko hadn't been sure of what to do, so she had drawn it earlier in a moment of fear. She was beginning to regret it. Koko kept her awkward duelling stance, her eyes darting across the P.P. nervously. Nervously, until another word was spoken.

"Fridge?"

Oh yes. Of course, Fridge. Was Fridge stupid? Koko thought not. Koko nodded briskly, this time keeping her eyes on her possible attacker. "Don't touch me," she said, her voice low. "Don't use your wand on me either, or you'll get detention." Koko shot a quick glance at Fridge before returning her gaze to Bloodbath. Hopefully Fridge would pick up on Koko's meaning. Koko wouldn't attack Bloodbath unless Bloodbath attacked her first, which actually had a large chance of happening.

Had Bloodbath really gone and called Fridge an idiot? "She's probably less of an idiot than you are," Koko put in, her tone even. She didn't sound emotional. It was just a fact. If she were going to yell, it wouldn't be here. It would just echo and embarrass Koko.

"K-Kokonut?" she said next. Sure, she knew what a coconut was, but what was a Kokonut? And what was MISS Kokonut? It was definitely something for the twelve-year-old to think about. "No, I don't know." Koko wasn't stupid or anything. She just didn't know. She was ignorant about this matter.

Koko brought the locket down from where she was holding it and peeked inside of it. He's kind of cute, her brain commented, and she internally whacked it. Shut up! He really did resemble Fridge... What was his name? Oliver? That seemed to suit him. That purple hair, though... It didn't look nearly as terrifying on him as it did on Fridge. She still had her wand up - what if something happened? - when Fridge said her new nickname warningly.

"Yes?" Koko asked calmly, slipping her wand back into her robes along with the necklace. "I would give the necklace to you if I knew you were telling the truth - both of you. There's no way that I could tell right now. I'm not inclined to give it to someone who spit on me, though." Koko's eyes glinted darkly. The others should be wary of her. She could leap out the window with the necklace, and they could do nothing about it... Unless Fridge were to use the Levitation Charm on her. Koko doubted it, though. Why would Fridge have motivation to try and save her? Koko hadn't done anything particularly nice to the scary prefect - yet. She hadn't done anything particularly nice to the scary prefect yet.

For some reason Choi thought that Mari was lying. Well, she was, but why the heck did the girl feel the need to call her out on it? It wasn't Mari's fault that she had to lie to get these pathetic children out of here so she could enjoy the remains of her turkey sandwich herself. Lying was the only way to get what she wanted, of course, make them so irritated that they wanted to leave. But instead Choi was threatening her with detention? Did it look like Mari wanted to spend any more time with the lavender haired brat? As a matter of fact, did Choi want to spend more time with the Porcelain Princess? Well of course she did, if she was forcing detention on Mari like that, but still - what a weird way of showing her love for Mari. Maybe she was just trying not to show favoritism, since Mari was a prefect now, too.

As for Riddle, well, she had threatened detention too, which was quite odd, given that Mari was staring at her with her wand directly parallel to Riddles. Mari hadn't even been the one to originally pull the wand, yet Riddle was threatening her with detention? She had done nothing wrong, for crying out loud! All she had done was eat a sandwich while these girls sought to ruin her day.

Riddle once again brought up that Mari had spat on her, and Mari scoffed in response, though she also looked bewildered. Without realizing she was doing it until the words had already come out of her mouth, she shrieked, "What are you talking about!? That lob was a work of art and you disrespected it? I cannot believe that you will continue to insult what could have gotten you so many galleons for its beauty, especially when you are in my palace!"

The tears were coming again; she was infuriated. While she reflected on the wetness on her cheeks, however, Mari had a growing suspicion that the dampness had spread to other areas. For a moment, she was confused. She then decided to actually analyze the spot that felt wet and leaned down to see that the bottom of her robes were soaking. For a moment, she wondered: had her tears been so large to leak all the way down to her feet? If so, why wasn't her torso wet?

While she wondered, she could have sworn she heard a noise come from Riddle's direction. Mari jolted up. She would not let this situation be a repeat of Blossom Ball; she would fight. If these girls wouldn't pity her, what they needed was revenge.

Without a second thought, she screamed, "Tarantallegra!" and waved her wand in Riddle's direction.

Kokonut sure knew her. Yes, as long as this girl didn't attack the other one, she had no reason to give her detention. Bold of them both to draw their wands when a prefect was standing next to them. Not that she would give detention for them anyway, as long as none of them attacked the other person.

Why?

Of course, she was basically lazy. What did you even expect from her? Some reasons bigger and more about justice? Never. No way. Giving people detention also meant she needed to waste her precious time on those people who she didn't care about, not that she cared about anyone anyway. The worst thing was that she couldn't read books while doing that! So unfair... She should think of a way to spend things she wanted to do during detention. Of course, not hers. She doubted that she could be dumb enough to cause herself into detention. Everyone could get BUT her... Yes, because she wouldn't cause herself into trouble, cause she was a smart person, wasn't she?

After being such a narcist, Luna looked back at the two in front of her. Kokonut was saying something with the word idiot in it, but because she wasn't really focused, she couldn't tell who Kokonut was mentioned, her or Toilet Lover. But of course she could guess, it had to be the Toilet Lover. After all, she knew that she was much clever than that Hufflepuff. If who the other Slytherin mentioned was her, it should be that Kokonut wasn't clever at all, just like that baby over here.

"Oh do not worry, you will not have to care about it anyway." She wasn't planning to tell Kokonut that she wouldn't mind giving detention to Toilet Lover, although she was talking to herself in her head as if she was really uncomfortable with it. Telling it to Kokonut also meant she gave Toilet Lover a warning, and she actually kind of lose interested in giving people warning before they broke the rules now. It was so tiresome, they should have read the rules themselves...

"You-" Luna looked at Toilet Lover, feeling a little bit surprised that this girl was pissed off just by a little thing, and started with the crying again. It was amazing how much tears could come out from that girl's eyes. Those eyes were like a water tap, and she felt like Toilet Lover knew how to control her tears. That was a scary alibi, maybe. Actually, the nickname Tap would fit her more than Toilet Lover. And it was also shorter, which meant it was easier to say it.

Score ~

And before she could react, Tap suddenly cast a spell, on Kokonut. She was too focused on observing things, and literally forgot that these two could attack each other anytime.

Tarantallegra? If someone pissed her off enough to make her take out her wand, the spell she used to cast on the wouldn't be this 'nice' spell... Though she felt like Kokonut was trying her best to be a polite girl and be fancy, so this spell actually could affect her from inside as well. She would be very embarrassed, maybe?

Wait, this wasn't time to think about this... "Miss Haynes," she shouldn't use that kid nickname here, should she? It would sound really funny if she called her 'Miss Tap' right now... "Congratulation ~ Attacking another student, trying to steal another student's stuff, you succeed getting detention, from me but no one else~" With a mocking voice, she turned back to Kokonut and looked straight into her eyes. It was a little bit hard, since Kokonut was still... jumping and dancing, "The spell will end soon, I doubt that a first year can make it last longer. I will owl you about my prove that that locket belongs to me. In the meantime, I hope that you do not have any idea of losing it, hiding it or breaking it." As long as she could locate her locket, it was alright. After all, it would just end up with her, couldn't be with anyone else. It belonged to her.

"Miss Haynes, you will also receive an owl from me, about the detention. And now, have fun with spending more time of your life in this filthy place. I am tired of it." Luna opened the toilet's door, walked out of this 'filthy' place. Although she was trying to hide it, her eyes were sparkling, but it looked beautiful but scary. She enjoyed giving Tap good detention. After all, this person was her enemy. She should treat them as nice as she could, shouldn't she?

As soon as she heard the words thrown from Bloodbath's mouth, Koko knew she hated the girl. Her golden eyes widened as her feet started moving involuntarily, bouncing her up and down like someone might do to a baby. W-wha?

She hated Bloodbath, she hated this room, and she also hated this situation. It was probably her fault for coming here in the first place... Oh, was that a detention that she was hearing about? Lovely. Especially so because she doubted the detention would belong to her. Koko was a good person, right?

Well, she was also a good dancer, thanks to this evil spell. Ugh. It was so annoying. She could hardly think straight with her feet doing so many weird movements, and suddenly - was that ballet?

Yes, it was. A pirouette was what the girl started with, and then plies and large leaps were added. She went from First to Fifth, and jumped around a little. It wasn't voluntary, which was what Koko hated about it. She couldn't control anything, not even herself. "P-proof?" Koko asked while her body forced her to begin breakdancing. "F-fine!"

After announcing the detention, Fridge left, and Koko leapt high into the air. But then the spell wore off, and she fell to the ground with a mighty thud. Oof. That was embarrassing. "I hate you and your porcelain palace!" Koko yelled at Bloodbath. How would she get out of here? She didn't want to go through the door... That was where Fridge was going, and Koko didn't want to follow Fridge. Fridge was absolutely terrifying. She was freezing cold and heartless on the inside, just like a refrigerator. Just like the refrigerator that had earned her her nickname.

Well then... Koko had the window, and she could perhaps try and make a hole in the stone ground or in the ceiling. But that would use a lot of effort, and perhaps all Slytherins were lazy, or perhaps it was just Fridge and Koko. Koko took a few steps over to the windowsill, and then she heaved herself up and through the broken window. She held on tight to the other side and began to climb down. She'd jump once she got close enough to the ground, but she honestly wanted to work on her arm strength. Plus, she had hardly gotten any glass on her robes! Great job, Koko!

The girl was more than halfway down the side of the castle when she began to feel more paranoid. What if Bloodbath saw her and cast another spell? What if Fridge had somehow made it out here and was about to give her detention for climbing down the side of the castle? Koko didn't want to risk it, so she hurried herself down the rest of the wall. When she was five feet from the ground, she jumped, and she ran straight to the Entrance Hall to give her rumbling stomach something to eat.
