THE SECOND RIDDLE HAS APPEARED!

Those who travelled first to the Scoreboard would find themselves congratulated by a short display of golden fireworks and the appearance of a stack of scrolls on the table underneath the giant advertisement-riddled blackboard. Each participant could take a scroll and open it to reveal the second riddle of the Scavenger Hunt:

Your journey's just beginning now
So don't you give up yet.
You've still got plenty of riddles to go
And plenty of snacks to get.

Here you'll find more than expected,
Some accessories to jazz up your ensemble.
Don't be fooled by fanciful things,
The true prize is far more humble.

THE THIRD RIDDLE HAS APPEARED!

Those who travelled second to the Concessions would find themselves congratulated by a short display of golden fireworks and the appearance of yet another stack of scrolls on the wooden countertop of the snack booths, though to the chagrin of many, they were not accompanied by any sweets. Each participant could take a scroll and open it to reveal the third riddle of the Scavenger Hunt:

Now that your neck is covered
And you feel stylish and new,
Why not attempt to play the field
And score a point or two?

While doing so, you may just find
Some smaller, dainty things.
Choose that which is most day-to-day
And often comes with strings.

THE FOURTH RIDDLE HAS APPEARED!

Those who travelled to the Goal Hoops as the third location, and therefore halfway point, of the Hunt would find themselves once again reassured and congratulated by those now-familiar golden fireworks and the magical conjuration of even more scrolls on the wooden table underneath the towering golden posts. Each participant could take a scroll and open it to reveal the fourth riddle of the Scavenger Hunt:

When scoring goals, each Chaser
Feels just like a queen or king.
Some purple thrones will suit them best
As they fly on eagle's wing.

So find the thrones, and while you're there,
Make sure that you are warm
By picking an accessory
That will your digits transform.

THE FIFTH RIDDLE HAS APPEARED!

Those who travelled fourth to the Top Box would find themselves reassured to the correctness of their location choice, at least, by a familiar show of golden explosions and the subsequent appearance of scrolls on the table nearest the purple thrones. Each participant could take a scroll and open it to reveal the penultimate location-and-object-hunting riddle of the Scavenger Hunt:

You've had enough of seeing the game
From so high up, well, haven't you?
Go lower now, and find a place
With a bit of a closer view.

When there, make sure to examine
That which goes upon your head.
You'll hear just fine and be not French
With this stunning accessory instead!

THE SIXTH RIDDLE HAS APPEARED!

Those who travelled fifth to the Stands would be greeted, too quickly as if no time had passed at all between their arrival and the fanfare, by Midas fireworks of epic proportions and a bunch of scrolls appearing out of seemingly nowhere beside the piles of hats. Each participant could take a scroll and open it to reveal the penultimate location-and-object-hunting riddle of the Scavenger Hunt:

You're almost there now, surely,
Just one more place to go.
Head down to where a match starts
With a classic Quaffle throw.

And once you're there you'll find
Piles of vegetable storage -
As for which one will suit you best,
Well, nothing rhymes with orange!

The Scavenger Hunt

THE FINAL RIDDLE HAS APPEARED!

As the scavenger hunters accumulated at the Centre Field, each carrying a bevy of items from their travels around the Quidditch stadium, they gathered at the table and chose a vegetable each. The deadline to arrive ticked by, and as it did, Aly Salinger strolled out to the centre of the snow-covered pitch, her arms full of scrolls and a wide smile on her face, to greet the hunters. "Welcome, everybody!" she called out, clearing the remainder of the vegetables off the table and setting down the scrolls. "I'm sure you're tired of fireworks by now, so I thought I'd hand-deliver these scrolls this time instead. Go on, everybody take one. There's just one riddle left."

You've collected all the parts and pieces
You'll need to finish your quest.
Now, the last task to undertake
Is building your snowfolk the best!

So take your snow and try to form
A classic frozen friend,
Our judges will then choose the best
And bring this event's end!

Aly grinned at her participants. "Well, what are you waiting for? Let's see those snowpeople!"

For this last post, we just ask that you build a snowperson with the items you've gathered throughout the scavenger hunt in the Centre Field! There is no right or wrong for this last post - it's just participation that matters! You may only use the items you have collected during the Hunt to build your snowperson. Deadline is the end of August 18th in the last time zone, and afterwards the winner(s) will be announced.

You all built wonderful snowmen and did a great job of deciphering the locations and items necessary for the Hunt, but in the end, we had only four winners: people who got every riddle 100% right and posted a snowman-building post within the time frame.
