A Nap With Mother Nature
Kira followed Kendra, her hands stuffed in her pockets and her eyes roaming around. She listened intently to the other girl's words, her mind trying to form the picture of a water fairy. She imagined them to be small, miniature like figures with a body similar to humans, with sparkling and transparent like wings protruding from their small backs. She pictured them with adorable little girly dresses, and for some reason, she imagined them to have blue hair and skin. It's a water fairy, so . . . why not? One might say Kira's imagination was a bit odd.
Kira peered into the bag Kendra opened to show her, noting of its contents and how most of them are all so cliche in relation to fairies. She's seen the muggle movies, those about magical fairies and how they had. . . pixie dust, was it? Her mother had always disapproved of Kira watching them, and perhaps Kendra had seen those movies herself. Either way, Kira wondered if these materials would actually work in luring in a fairy, and if it did, she wondered why fairies are actually attracted to these sorts of things. Kira sure wasn't, except for those small pieces of delicious looking cake of course.
The thought of fairies enjoying to be decoration for wizards struck Kira as odd. Who enjoys being seen as items belonging to a higher being? These fairies have a weird way of seeing things, she thought to herself.
"What if the fairy you lure doesn't agree on tagging along? What then?" Kira asked the girl, her left eyebrow slightly raising in question.

Elizabeth had been watching the two Slytherins for a while now, being pretty bored as nothing particularly interesting happened while watching the lake. She furrowed her eyebrows at the conversation. Of course, she never heard anything completely. She was extremely tempted to ask a dozen questions but kept quiet. She then heard the question "What if the fairy you lure..." But was soon cut off to her surprise by them picking up the pace. She became a bit anxious and lagged behind them.
Faries? Why the heck are they talking about fairies of all things? Maybe they're doing some sort of topic on it in magical creatures... or something... She then realized she had miraculously not been caught following them yet. What if she did get caught following them, how would she explain? She stopped dead in her tracks and scratched her chin, and she sat behind a large boulder. After a few minutes of thought, she whispered to herself, making sure that the two Slytherins were gone, "I'll just say I'm going to my next class..." but would they fall for that? Elizabeth didn't know, but she hoped they would. She started to walk very slowly in hopes they would not notice her following them.

Kendra listened to Kira's concern, realising she hadn't really taken any time to think about it beforehand.
"It's not like I will force them or anything..." she explained while simultaneously trying to figure it out in her head. "And there is no information on them being dangerous either... " she was a little concerned about that part.
Fairies had been so popular both in the muggle and the wizarding world that one could easily expect the unpleasant details to have been neglected. She shrugged these thoughts off and decided to leave Kira's question only half-answered as they finally reached the part of the Lake she believed was most likely to attract fairies. There was a piece of land that extended further from the shore standing out among the water, resembling a small island. It was covered in all sorts of flowers and the sun seemed to shine somewhat brighter on that area. Just by looking at it Kendra felt more confident that her plan would actually work. Just as she was about to step on the "flower island" she felt a strange sensation.
She looked around suspiciously. It felt as if they were being watched, but there seemed to be nobody visible as far as the eye could reach. She was about to let it go and get back to the "fairy-hunting" when she saw something with the corner of her eye. Had they been followed? It definitely looked like it.
"You can come out now." Kendra called waiting for the person to show themselves.

The two continued walking, before finally reaching a part of the lake where a small island stood. Kira spotted tons of different kinds of flowers on the island, however not knowing any of them by name. It actually looked beautiful. The sun seemed to shine brighter on that certain spot, and it made it look like a small slice of heaven. Kira was already tempted to step foot on it. Was this where Kendra suspected the water fairies to be? She wouldn't be surprised if they actually were here. The island itself looked so secure, and if Kira were a water fairy herself, she would have chosen this small island to be her haven. Too bad Kira's only a mere wizard, with all those responsibilities and homework and what not. Kendra's voice snapped Kira out of her thoughts, and her eyes flicked to her in confusion.
"You can come out now." Kendra called out, to whom was a mystery to Kira. Had the other girl somehow managed to spot some hiding fairies? Kira followed Kendra's gaze, before landing on something, or more likely someone, hiding a few metres away from them. Had they been followed? Why hadn't she noticed this herself??

Elizabeth head one of the girls tell her to come out, and panic set in. She began to turn red, and she stood there for a solid minute wondering what to do. DANGIT! Eliza, run... Wait, no... don't run! They'll see you... URGH! Just don't move, ok... Elizabeth had a problem with lying, even though she often knew it wasn't right, However, getting out of a situation like this was definitely a time where Elizabeth would have to lie... Cmon! She couldn't be embarrassed like that... But she soon realized they would look for her anyway, so she glumly prepared for the humiliation.
She stepped out lightly, her legs shaking. She looked down at the ground and put her hands together, fidgeting. She was petrified to look up, as Elizabeth hated to make eye contact when she had done something wrong... No, it wasn't that. Elizabeth just hated looked someone in the eyes. It would always make her smile or laugh, which is even more embarrassing than getting caught following someone. However, she kept thinking about this, and she suddenly blurted out, "Hi! I'm Elizabeth Catching" and looked up. RED ALERT ELIZA!! JEEZ, YOU'RE STUPID! TURN BACK! Elizabeth simply ignored the little voice in her head, and looked up and giggled. Probably looking like an airhead she put her hands together and stopped fidgeting with her hands.

Kendra narrowed her eyes watching the Hufflepuff revealing herself. She was a first year just like them and seemed to be suffocating from embarassment over having been spotted. The girl didn't seem to do much to help her position since the first thing she decided to do was introduce herself. Now they knew both her face and her name and the fact she had been following them couldn't be any more obvious.
"Where you following us?" Kendra asked deciding to give the girl another chance to make it better.
She would normally feel bad for the Hufflepuff but being in a position where she was the one in control interfered with her Slytherin spirit and made her have the tendency to abuse that "power". It's not like they were doing something secret, or forbidden but Kendra was not used to having other people poking their noses in her business. She didn't feel threatened, or angry but she definitely felt the need to raise her defenses. The whole thing seemed to be very innocent but being a first year meant that everything felt like a very big deal.

Elizabeth stopped smiling and cocked her head at the girl. She looked mad. She figured she was probably trying to make her nervous, which of course she was! But she decided to act like she was an airheaded person, and she simply nodded. "Sorry! I don't know a lot of people around here... I was just curious! I'll go away if you want!" She felt a nag in her head to lie, but she ignored it. Acting all serious about it might be creepy. Wait- As if following someone was creepy enough already! She flushed red as she said the words that came out of her mouth without even thinking what they might sound like to someone. Eliizaaabethhh... She's a Slytherin! Shes probably gonna like... Hurt you or something. I don't know. Just lie!
Elizabeth felt like screaming right then and there and running away. She distracted herself by examining the girls a bit more. They looked like the typical Slytherins... Well, actually... They looked like any other student in the school. She began to get an idea of how they acted. The girl who had called out to her seemed a bit rude, but Elizabeth wondered if under her looks she was a sweet person. Probably, as the conversation she was having with the other girl seemed calm. She also wondered pointless things like how they were doing in their classes, which class they liked the most... Pointless.
