When I was little, I used to save slugs so they wouldn't get roasted in the sun. Should I regret it now?

I always felt so sorry for them. I once saw a child eating them. I know it's disgusting, plus the kid was hospitalized. He won't eat again.

I was walking yesterday through a field and there were loads of baby slugs on my feet - I thought they were leeches (even though it was a field in the uk) and screamed so loud

My mum would chase slugs and put them back at the other end of the garden. A day would go by and we'd both laugh at the speed of them back up the other end of the garden again. She called it "friendly competition" between her and them
