The Mistletoe Spin Sign Ups Open till 10th July

You've all seen a Regency ball before - lovely people in lovely dresses and suits, twirling around a dance floor and switching partners without a care in the world. We, as the organising members of this year's "Too Cool For School" summer camp, would like to extend you an official invitation to attend our very own winter's ball.

So come one, come all, in your fancy dress robes, and step onto the enchanted dance floor, where you're sure to know all the steps. Be careful, though - with bundles of mistletoe floating overhead, you never know who you might end up kissing when the music stops...

WELCOME TO THIS YEAR'S VERSION OF SPIN THE BOTTLE!

THE EXPLANATION

• Sign-ups open today. All PCs and iNPCs are welcome to join this event. Please follow the sign-up format that can be found at the end of this post.
• When signing up, each student may OOC choose one other student with whom they would like to be grouped. E.g., you may choose to sign up with your IC partner, worst enemy, secret crush, best friend, etc., for the plot. This is known as the "Angst Card" in the sign-up form below. Being put with your Angst Card is not guaranteed, but we will do our best.
• When signing up, if there is someone you would OOC choose not like to be grouped with, please owl me (Hjørdis Jensen) the name of the person(s) with whom you do not want to interact (for any reason). All of these wishes will be honoured, bar none. This could be DNCs, this could be you don't like their profile picture, or this could be you two have had too many roleplay threads together already. Whatever the reason is, I'll honour it.
• Students that sign up will then be divided into smaller groups based on number of participants and year of the participants.
• Each round will last the duration of 1 song and will be moderated once per week.
• At the end of each round (week), the song will end and students will find themselves paused with a new partner. Some pairs will find themselves paused under a floating sprig of mistletoe, and others will be spared from the embarrassment! If you and your partner find yourselves under the mistletoe, you're supposed to kiss... but whether you choose to is completely up to you.
• Failure to post in a round will result in your character freezing and declining any actions that come their way (such as kisses). Failure to post in more than one round may result in your character being removed from the game.
• Note that all IC rules still apply, as do all site rules and ratings, so behave yourselves!

Sign-ups open today and close JULY 10.
The dance(s) will begin, OOC, on JULY 13.
However, the event takes place, IC, on AUGUST 2.
