Edward and Tess Holmes first met at Hogwarts. They began meeting in their seventh year. Afterwards, they got married and went to live in London, in a pretty red house on top of a hill. Tess worked as a ministry employee and Larry as a Gringotts officer. They were extremely happy, and to their immense joy they soon had a baby girl. They named her Laurie, after her grandmother. Laurie was an intelligent child, who was curious and developed speech earlier than most offsprings. Laurie always felt different, her friends and play-school teachers noticed that easily enough.
Laurie was five when the unfortunate incident happened. Laurie's parents caught severe cancer and struggled for a week and two days. But unfortunately one morning they .... passed on. According to the will, Laurie had to be sent to her father's sister and her husband.
Laurie was then sent to live with her aunt and uncle in Wales. They were a nice couple and took good care of her. They knew she was magical, but did not mention it. They wanted to wait for the Letter to Hogwarts.
Laurie smiled and played; it was just the perfect life. There were always signs of magic present around her. When she got her letter from Hogwarts, she was really excited, as this could be where she would meet students like her.
Unfortunately, Laurie's uncle had a heart attack due to which Laurie had to miss some months of school. Thankfully, her uncle regained his activeness, but he would never really be the same. Laurie even had to miss graduation, but kept on with her studies at home.

Laurie is very beautiful, has long shoulder length blackish brown hair, is rather small for her age and has brownish-black eyes. She usually keeps her hair open, but other times, she ties it in a ponytail. She has fair skin complexion and long, slender limbs.

Reducio
Laurie is a very intelligent girl who is very obedient and kind. When her parents died, she felt very sad, but continued to work harder and learn new things whenever possible. She has a lot of ambitions, port of what made her a Slytherin . She has a sharp inventing mind, and sees life through a critical way. She is really excited to go to Hogwarts, and hopes to get good grades and become a top 3 earner.

Bullies. There are too many around Wales. Once, when Laurie was in the playground, some bullies picked on her. They could not hurt her became a magical shield had formed surprisingly over her. The bullies could not even touch her. Her aunt, who was watching her, gave an immense scolding to the bullies. But there was a strange pride in her eyes when she did so.
