Cupid's Cookies

It was Aly's very final Valentine's Day at Hogwarts, and she had just begun to accept that she would never really have a Valentine for one, despite her best efforts. Her first year she'd been too young to really even give it a second thought, but her second year she had put herself out there for a school-sponsored group Valentine's "date" that had ended in pretty much nothing. In third year, the newly teenaged Ravenclaw had only even just met the person who would become her first (and only) boyfriend thus far, @Aaron Jones, in early February - and though she'd decorated cupcakes with her mates @Dealla Prince and @Cecily Quinn that year, all the party had ended in was Aly mistakenly becoming obsessed with herself after somehow consuming a dose of Love Potion.
Fourth year had been about as boring as a funeral dirge (quite literally) because Aly had still been stuck at home, her very own Rapunzel in the tower after her father's passing. There hadn't really been any events in fifth year February, and though last year she had finally thought the trip to Beauxbâtons might grant her a long-awaited romance, her assigned pen pal, the only and only @Kavi Kattimani, had stood her up at their assigned meeting time. Of a sort, anyway. What Aly had not known at the time, and did now know, was that her friend @Haven Bohannon's scraggly little Pygmy Puff, Marcus, had eaten nearly all of Kavi's reply stating that he couldn't make it that night, but would be there the night after. Of course, they'd shown up to the fountain under two separate moonlights, like ships passing in the night - and Aly's fury had emerged in the form of none other than the Prince herself, with a fiery wand and a vengeance.
This seventh-year celebration of love, the last she'd ever have within these hallowed halls, came nipping at the heels of the visit to Koldovstoretz on the morrow. Aly was so excited to go visit the Russian school that she'd already packed - a rarity for her, a girl known for just throwing things into her trunk last-minute. But there was a reason for this thrill pumping through her very veins, and it wasn't just the promise of snow and the looking forward to covering all four of the sports (plus any extracurricular events) for the Hogwarts Headliner (since Aly herself would not be competing). No, part of it was the hope that she would get to see Kavi again.
Though their first failure at a meeting had been rather... disastrous, to say the least, the two teenagers had met at last the previous month during the Tenūsa visit, on Kavi's eighteenth birthday underneath the bright warm sun. There had been awkward laughter and realisations, and now Aly had a (rather handsome) face to put to the name; her dreams had been full of his easy smile, bronzy skin, and tall, muscular frame ever since. Even having been kidnapped by angry vines and held as an unconscious prisoner that very same night hadn't managed to completely ruin the trip for her, knowing that the Ravenclaw now had a new fancy by whom she was so totally enchanted. The two had been writing back and forth since Aly's departure of Tenūsa on the fifth of January, and the teenage girl had never quite looked forward to an owl more than she now hoped Kavi's flowery poetry and powerful prose might be dropped into her breakfast cereal every morning.
As such, the seventh-year swanned to the Saturday event for cookie-decorating with the kind of easy glow that only having a crush can give, adorned from head to toe in light pinks and whites - a fluffy rose-hued sweater, a lacy cream skirt and matching transparent tights, some pinkish ballet flats, and of course a few barrettes in her hair, two on either side. She'd taken to wearing her hair down again, lately. Let Livingston tradition be damned.
Aly peered around the area when she arrived, seeing naught but younger students; not really a rarity anymore, since there were so few of the elder ones around nowadays. She hummed along to the gramophone, which seemed to be playing light orchestral music, and took a seat at the longer table, gathering herself up a cuppa and enjoying the sweet, floral perfume that seemed to be emanating from every which way. She wasn't particularly talented with frosting, or art of any sort really, but the Ravenclaw did pick up a nearby tube of pink and begin to doodle hearts on one of the biscuits in front of her. This young lady wouldn't be presenting a cookie to anyone - by the time she arrived at Koldovstoretz, it would likely be too stale to offer to her would-be beau - but, rather, eating it herself, all full of sugar and dreams of the morrow. After all, she could use a little extra sweetness if she were to see Kavi again after only one more sleep.

Cupid's Cookies

The date was 14 Saturday february. But it wasnt hard to tell, with all the hearts and pink decorations spreaded all over the castle. Selina despised this day. Not because it was pink, she had no problem with that. But because it made her feel extremely pathetic. Seeing ppl recieve love letters, being with their closest friends. All that stuff made her feel and seem pathetic, simply bc she didnt have that. There were no love letters, but she had learned to live with it over the years.
Selina sighed as she walked in the slytherin common room in the evening, after a long day of humiliation. As she was on her way to the dormatories, she noticed a trail of pink petals. It peaked her curiosity. Her first thought was naturally just to ignore it, but it couldnt hurt to see where it lead, right? So she looked herself in the mirror just to see if she looked like a complete mess. She fixed her hair slighly knowing the wind would probably just mess it up again. Then she followed the trail. It only took her a couplke minutes to reach the final destination. The rose petals lead to the lake. Bunch of tables were set up with candles, bows and a bunch of other pink decoration. Friends and couples were gathered and made her wanna leave, but then she could smell the sweets. It smelled simply irresistible. So she couldnt help her self and made it down to the tables. As she came down she grabbed a pre made dssert. It was divine, as the flavours exploded in her mouth. Then she saw a table with cookies and icing. She thought that it wouldnt mind to just make one. So she sat down and took a cookie and some icing. She let her artsy hands lead the icing on the cookie. She hadnt iced a cookie since she was 8 and gave her sence of nostalgia and reminded her of home. She finished up her cookie and was quite proud of it and was sad to eat it, but the sugar was waiting to be melted on her tongue, so in the mouth it went. She looked around once more and noticed that she wasnt the only one sitting alone, that made her atleast feel less pathetic.
She realized she couldnt take the smiles and the laughter she wasnt a part of anymore. So she went and looked for a place to sit alone, even though that might be atleast twice as depressing than sitting with all the other students. But regardless she found a tree that had so conviently been sat pillows and blankets up for probably more than one person. But she couldnt care less in the moment and sat down. She looked out on the lake. It was beautiful with the sunset, perfect for a romantic day like today. That only reminded her once more how pathetic she was and looked away from the lake. She pulled up the book she was currently reading and opened the pages. But she couldnt seem to focus, the laughter, the smiles, the couples, they were all stuck to her mind making her sigh. She didnt wanna spend valentines day alone, but there was no other way around it. She just stared at the lake letting her thoughts swirl. She knew that those thought was gonna haunt her for the rest of the night.

It was late February day, he felt like something was going on today that he wanted to do, but he didn't know what it was yet until he saw the poster about cupid’s cookies thingy. Even so it’s not a day he doesn't really care about, he doesn't see the meaning of valentine day, but he love cookies and tea, so he thought why not go and see what it was all about.Open for interaction

14.February
At least it was a good day, and why not end it with something better than cookies and tea that he loves. Especially when he can decorate it himself. When he came outside and saw the good sunset behind the forbidden forest, he just stood there for a moment to adore the beauty of nature and the sky, and thought that would be the perfect thing to paint later on. He looked around for a bit before he started heading down to the meeting spot for tea, it is a good thing for an afternoon tea right? It feels so familiar what thing to do at home, he is so happy that it can be an activity here too. He was surprised to see it on the information board about this activity. But he didn't know so many people yet, so he walked there alone to see who else was there.
When he arrived he saw some people there, and placed himself down on an empty chair where it was all good to sit down at a table. He saw how beautifully decorated it was all around him, how the flowers were all around them. He wasn’t happy about Valentine's Day because he doesn’t see the meaning of it, especially the history behind it, but people probably don't think about that now. But still it’s for him he thought why not celebrate love like any other day, why must it have a special day for it?
He thought it was normal etiquette to actually love a person like every day, he didn’t quite see the big deal with this holiday, but it was cozy indeed to be appreciated, but that should be a normal etiquette for every day. But giftgiving every day no, maybe from time to time yes.
He took himself some tea and a cookie to decorate, he chose the basic thing pink en white and some red. He started with some pink background with some red hearts around the cookie, in the middle it said Love. He doesn't know who he will give this cookie too, maybe himself, because he likes to feel loved by himself from time to time. He started looking around to see if more people had arrived while he was focused on his stuff, and he forgot he had tea to drink up. He spaced out a bit while holding his teacup, especially after being finished with decorating his cookie. He just sat there and thought of well nothing and everything, probably something he doesn't know yet himself. He poured himself another tea, he didn’t realise he drank up and poured some new tea for himself. He probably doesn’t know if someone was even sitting down at the same table as him, he was so far gone in his daydreaming. Until he started to feel a bit restless that he drank up his cold tea, and took with his cookie and left. Why bother staying any longer than he needs to be, unless something else is going on at that place he should know about. Or even forgot that someone was talking to him in the first place. He wanted to paint the sunset that he saw earlier, and why not bring some tea with him when he wanted to paint. Maybe paint this activity in the background, he thought that was a good idea to do.
Should I? Purhapse. Will I? Nooo, Do I enjoy being difficult? Mooost deffently!

Diana wasn't one for parties, and since she didn't even take a proper glance at the bulletin board, she thought she'd missed the party; she had guessed wrong. The overwhelmingly sweet and floral scent reaches her before the sight does. The scent is overwhelming in the way only February at Hogwarts could be, which is her first time experiencing it, and the young Seer already wasn't a fan. This could only mean one thing: there's a party happening.
Diana pauses near the courtyard archway, fingers lightly curled around the strap of her satchel as she takes in the trail of rose petals leading down toward the lower grounds. Diana was in the courtyard thinking it'd be empty so she could find quiet and read her book, but she had thought wrong. The sky is painted in soft gold and pink, which is a very pretty color, and if Diana could draw, she would draw the sky, sunset melting into evening, and the faint sound of string music drifts upward from near the lake. For a moment, she watches, like how she typically would, people watching, except that she couldn't see any people from where she was standing.
There is something almost theatrical about it all — the perfume-kissed notice, which was on the bulletin board that she hardly looked at, why was there a perfume-kissed notice, that she didn't know, the carefully placed petals, if those were from real flowers, Diana felt bad for the flowers, the promise of heart-shaped sweets. It feels intentional. Like someone wanted the entire castle to lean toward the same feeling at once.
Unfortunately, Diana was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and her stupid intuition didn't tell her that! Her (stupid) intuition gives the faintest stir. Not a warning. Not danger. Just… significance. Which makes Diana irritated, since she didn't even want to be at the party, but it led her to it anyway.
Diana tilts her head slightly, thoughtful. Maybe she shouldn't be blaming her intuition for this. Events like this gather emotions the way storms gather clouds. Excitement. Hope. Embarrassment. Nerves. Affection. Diana doesn't usually have those feelings, but she was awfully curious. She can almost feel the hum of it before she even descends the steps toward the Great Lake.
Candles flicker along the tables below, casting warm halos of light over frilly tablecloths and delicate teacups, as if an angel were visiting every table. Or maybe it's Cupid, trying to set people up, depending on whether people believe in the Roman god of love and desire and attraction, or if they believe in his mother(?) Aphrodite or Venus, the goddess of love. The lake reflects the glow in trembling ripples, which makes the water look majestic. Beneath a sheer white canopy, pillows are arranged in a quiet cluster, and it looks potentially inviting.
Diana exhales softly. It would be easy to turn back. To observe from a distance, like she typically does. To return to the Ravenclaw Tower with a book, which she already has in her satchel, and pretend she hadn’t noticed the invitation at all, which she actually hadn't, or at least not properly. But that won't be fun, since she'd miss an opportunity to make friends. But her intuition nudges again — gentle, curious. Go. It was telling her to go, mingle, make friends, eat food, decorate cookies, and have fun. Like a best friend would to a friend who doesn't want to go to a party. That was what Diana felt like her intuition was in this circumstance.
She smooths her sleeves and steps fully into the floral archway, which she finally decides to admire, the candlelight catching in her hair, making her dark hair glow slightly. Her gaze drifts over the trays of plain heart-shaped cookies and the neat rows of frosting colors. Sprinkles glint like tiny gemstones. Who wouldn't want to decorate a cookie? It’s simple magic, really. Not spells — just people choosing to create something for someone else. Or a quick and yummy snack you can eat while no one is watching.
Her lips curve faintly. She selects a seat at one of the smaller round tables, not too isolated but not in the center of the crowd either — a comfortable in-between. Close enough to observe. Open enough for company, if anyone decided to come over and chat with her. Diana runs her fingers lightly along the edge of a blank cookie, which was in the shape of a heart, considering the untouched surface, and wondering if she should eat it. Should I decorate? Should I not? A heart is an interesting shape, she thinks. Symmetrical, but never perfectly so.
Diana lifts her gaze, quiet curiosity settling in her expression. Perhaps tonight will bring something unexpected. Not dramatic. Not earth-shattering. Just… the beginning of something. Like, the possibility of an endless friendship, or friendships. But one can never know, or maybe one can know?

Sergei had been staring down at his sketchbook with a sour expression as he tried to figure out how to sketch the anatomy of the gryff... griff... griyffon. Unfortunately while he was doing so he completely forgot he'd even grabbed cookies. He was far too frustrated with the nonsensical anatomy of the creature he was trying to capture. There were too many questions in his head, like-- how did they fly when they were as large a s a lion. How did they walk with their front legs being a birds? After all those weren't connected to hips the way a bird's legs would be. How did they steer in the air with no tailfeathers? A puny lion tail with weak muscles would certainly not be useful in the slightest. Did they have the hearing or sense of smell a lion did? Or was their bird head dictating what senses they had? Did they have the digestive system of a bird or a lion? Did they hunt by diving from the air like a bird or by stalking the ground like a lion? If soo how did they do either effectively? They didn't have the aerodynamics a bird did so would ambushing their prey from above even be succesful? And if they stalked the ground how did they manage to sneak up on anything with bulky wings and no paw pads on their front talons? How could they hunt effectively from the ground if they had a bird's senses?==========
Unfortunately none of these questions had answers. It was making him seriously consider if he could weather the storm that was ' Care of Magical Creatures' class. Even drawing these things was making him pissed off. Animals had been one thing he enjoyed studying as a muggle, but he wasn't certain if he'd be able to take explanations for these questions being something inane like 'oh, well they're magical so they can do it' because there was a certain limit to how much he could accept magic defying the natural laws he'd been born and raised with. Perhaps he'd have to treat it like he treated Transfiguration, like the broccoli he had to eat at the end of a meal. Even in his second year he struggled to comprehend 'Magical law' when he'd been learning the basics of the natural law for much longer.
His thoughts were interrupted as someone spoke to him, making his gaze snap up to them with a partially-unintentional glare. At her comment of there being too many people his gaze drifted over to the more populated area, where people were chatting, sharing cookies, or even getting lovey-dovey. His nose scrunched up, "Da." The response was curt, and given it wasn't an English word or accent, easily deduced as being in a foreign tongue. "I do not care if you sit there. As long as you don't talk too much." He returned his gaze to his sketchbook after replying, crossing one leg over the other to give the book a better platform to draw on.

Dialogue: #0f1a48Concetta had been in the courtyard passing out the Valentines cards she made the day prior when a pink and red notice on the bulletin board caught her eyes as she passed, causing her to halt in step and turn around. It smelled like delicate flowers from a few paces away, and was surrounded by the fallen petals of roses, leading all the way to the courtyard overlooking the great lake. She had to squint from where she was standing to see anything over there, but the dim lighting was visible, and it looked cozy. A small gust of wind disrupted a few petals as they danced around her black patent leather flats, and that's when she decided to follow them wherever they may lead. The innate idea of stepping into a mystery was romantic—poetically, at least. Idealistic, imaginative, filling her with wonder along with being exciting. She didn't give a good read to the notice, but as a lover of Valentine's Day, the petals and the airy and beautiful aroma of the perfume was positively uncanny in its delight, so she found herself picking up her step as she made her way to the decorated courtyard, the heels of her flats creating a rhythm and sound that reached a crescendo as she closed in.
Her eyes followed the rosey arches and the beauty of all the decorations. She couldn't help but think about all the care that must have gone into organizing this event, but more on the forefront of her mind was the opportunity to meet someone new. Love wasn't just for boyfriends, but also normal friends! Something her dad had always said was that anyone could be your Valentine, even boys if they were just friends.
The music was faint enough to allow for conversation but also demanded precedent over your thoughts as you walked through it. It was as if the melodies were a soundtrack to your inner monologue that broke up the monotony of the week. Concetta's blue eyes scanned the scenery and stopped swinging her bag as to not hit anyone as the quarters closed, and tables replaced the open courtyard. She imagined accidentally knocking over one of the floral fine china plates and cringed, folding the empty tote to slip into her coat pocket. There was a good amount of people already in attendance, but not so much that she felt too late to be now arriving. Some young couples sat together, almost squishing their faces together as they leaned over the table, but there were also happy friends, chatting and decorating cookies together. The cookies seemed to be the main activity besides the social aspect of it, as there was icing and such at every table for people to decorate the blank sugar cookies.
As her eye swept the area, her attention shifted to a girl sat alone, looking like she'd rather be anywhere but at the Valetine's Day gathering. Valentines Day is the day of love, and everyone deserves to feel welcome, so the idea popped into Concetta's head to talk to the girl, that was the scenario that got her to come, after all. After scanning the area for someone she could be waiting on, Concetta made her way over with a casual pace before clearing her throat.
"Excuse me", she starts, putting on her most polite closed mouth grin, "are you here all by yourself? I just saw the notice on the billboard and came over just now". Her gloved hands held each other in front of her body, rested against her coat. The question was suggestive of her intentions to join the girl, but not overtly enough that she'd be embarrassed if it was declined. Her accent was vaguely placing in South London, maybe Cockney under the polite consideration she was putting into her speech.

@Concetta Poisonwood @Diana Roberts2/14/26Rosalyn quite liked Valentine's Day. She didn't like it because of the romance or the hearts everywhere, no, but she had two very specific reasons to like it. The first was that everyone seemed so much kinder on a day meant to be about love, and it was a refreshing break from how the world can sometimes get. The second reason?
Well, everything was pink. Sure, there was some red too, but so much pink was all around, and as it was her favorite color, Rosie really liked that.
She was walking back to her dorm, admiring the castle. It always looked quite beautiful, despite the chill in the air. Somehow, the wintertime just made the castle look even better.
As Rosie walked past the bulletin board, she smelled something that was a bit unusual to her. Perfume, very faint, but still present. It was not abnormal to smell perfume in the school, but considering that it was the bulletin board of all places, the scent was a bit unexpected for the space. Deciding to investigate, Rosalyn walked closer to the bulletin board. On it, she saw a notice, but she was distracted by the sight of a rose petal trail.
'Ah, the irony.' Rosie thought, knowing that she could now not skip checking out whatever the petals were leading her to, as it was literally her namesake and she couldn't just leave before seeing what was going on.
She began to follow the petal trail, desperately hoping that she wasn't about to be ambushed or anything. She really doubted it, but still...never put your guard down.
As she got to the lower grounds area, overlooking the beautiful Great Lake, she saw quite a display of what was most definitely not an ambush, thank goodness! There were tables, both small and large, with some gorgeous decorations in the area. She, however, noticed one thing and one thing only-cookies!
She quite enjoyed baking, and those cookies were speaking her love language. It seemed as if many people were decorating cookies, so she decided to join them, picking one up. She looked around for a table to sit at, hoping that there was a spot free. It didn't appear like she knew anyone there, but she could have been wrong.
"Hello! Do you mind if I sit here?" she asked, spotting a table with some space open, with only two girls there. They both looked to be about her age, one was standing and looking as if she was asking the one seated the same question Rosalyn was.
Never being one for much patience, Rosie just sat down, deciding to start cookie decorating first and ask questions later.
"I'm Rosalyn, but most people just call me Rosie! What's your name?" she asked, getting some frosting on her finger and wiping it off. She desperately wanted to lick it off, but supposed that would be judged, so she did not. Besides, with no partner or anything, she had the cookie all to herself, and was already looking forward to eating it later. She just had to wait for a little bit, socialize for a few minutes, then eat her cookie in peace.
"Valentine's Day is a pretty cool day, huh? I just love the pink and the flowers everywhere, what about you two?" she asked, trying to strike up a conversation. She wasn't a huge fan of awkward silences, and wasn't about to let the conversation get to that point. Not if she could help it!
She continued decorating her cookie, pink frosting all over. She was going much more for taste than for looks, so she wasn't very worried about how neat it looked, just as long as her taste buds would be pleased with her later!

With the cookie that she was tracing with her finger, Diana had finally made up her mind, and that was to decorate the cookie and then eat it later. However, as soon as she discovered that, a voice spoke up, causing Diana to look in the direction of the voice. First, Diana's gaze lifts to see gloved hands clasped together, then her gaze rises to the girl standing before her, who has just spoken, asking the question of whether she's here by herself. But Diana was probably sure she was also meaning to ask if she could sit with her. The girl had dark hair, blue eyes, and a polite posture. There is something gentle about her approach — cautious, but intentional. Diana feels it immediately. Not danger. Not discomfort. Just warmth.
“Yes. I am alone. Or rather. . . I was." Diana replies softly, straightening slightly in her seat. She paused slightly before adding, “You’re welcome to join me, if you'd like. And my name is Diana. What's your name?”
Before she can say more, another person arrives, this time brighter somehow, like stepping into sunlight, which Diana somewhat liked, but she wasn't sure she liked it in a person. The second girl wastes no time sitting, even though she had asked the same question as the other girl had probably meant to ask, or did ask, but in a different format, already reaching for frosting with enthusiasm, pink frosting even, as if there wasn't already a lot of pink in the courtyard. Diana was mildly startled, which caused her to blink once, but then she let out the faintest breath of amusement. Now she understands why some people say they don't like talking to other people. Sometimes they can be like this, Rosalyn girl, but Diana wasn't thinking that negatively.
“I don’t mind,” she answers, watching pink frosting spread generously across the cookie, even though it didn't look pretty, but Diana was sure it'd taste good, probably what Rosie was thinking too.
“I’m Diana,” she adds, saying her name for the second time that day, and in a short amount of time from the first time she said it, folding her hands neatly in front of her cookie, wondering if she should take an icing and what color it should be. “It's nice to meet both of you.”
Her attention shifts briefly between them — Concetta’s composed curiosity, Rosalyn’s bubbling energy. Different currents. Interesting. And both of them are different from her. Rosalyn was definitely her opposite, 100 percent. But Diana wasn't sure about Concetta.
At the mention of Valentine’s Day, Diana tilts her head thoughtfully. “It’s… vivid,” she says carefully. “Very pink, a little too much pink.” Her lips twitch faintly. “I didn’t actually know this was happening until I walked into it. And, well, I was trying to avoid it. I'm not really a socializer. I'm more of a watcher.”
Hopefully, the girls didn't find that weird. Her fingers finally reach for a piping bag of light blue frosting after her long decision-making process in her head. She begins outlining the heart slowly, precisely, but unhurriedly, trying to make the cookie look pretty and yummy at the same time, if that were possible. But also outlining the cookie so that when she went in for a different color, probably a darker blue, she won't make a mess.
“I like the idea of Valentine's Day, I just don't know if I'm a fan of it, per se,” she continues. “Not just the romance. I'm not a romance type of girl. The… intention behind it. Choosing to be kind. Or to create something for someone.” She glances at Rosalyn’s frosting-covered masterpiece. “Even if it’s mostly for yourself. Like the cookies, especially your cookie, which looks amazing by the way.”
A thoughtful and observant look crosses Diana's face, which is softer than her other look, somehow. “I think days like this gather people who might not have crossed paths otherwise, like us three.” Her intuition hums faintly again — curious, alert. And this time, Diana doesn’t feel irritated by it. In fact, she's almost thankful for it, for leading her to this party that she didn't entirely want to come to.

First Cookie

I was mindlessly strolling through the corridors. Valentine's day is not my favorite holiday. But it marks 12 days till my birthday. I suddenly inhaled a bunch of sweet perfume. It smelled like sugar coated jasmine and sparkling berries. It was super warm and inviting. I looked down to see a trail of flower petals leading to the great lake. "Wow!" I breathed. As the scenery came into view. There was lush greenery and beautiful rose arches. I spotted Olivia and Maya. "Olivia, Maya can you believe how pretty this is?" I asked them. " It really is pretty!" Maya replied. I looked around and spotted Natasha! I walked over and sat next to her. I marveled at the cookie she was decorating." Is that Captain America and Spiderman?" I asked. I remember my father trying to have me watch the movies. They weren't my favorite. I took a Heart shaped cookie. I looked at the cookie and tilted my head. What should I do? I wondered. Then I remembered a design I had seen on Pintrest during Christmas break. I picked up a pale pink and frosted most of my cookies and added lacy designs on the sides. It was now time for the difficult part. I chose a slightly brighter, and thicker pink. I tried piping roses. It took me a few practice tries on my plate but I mastered it in about 5 minutes. Then I chose green colored frosting, for little leaves. I then took a pinch of pale pink sugar and sprinkled it onto the cookie. Only a little part though. Too much of a good thing is a bad thing. (They say that in the muggle world A LOT.) I moved onto the next cookie. I piped a gradient of pink icing and decorated it carefully and quite meticulously. I started at a pale pink and graduated to rose pink. After I finished decorating my cookies I took a bag and placed my cookies in very carefully so I didn't ruin them. Then I walked over to the areas where most people were reading. So I fished out my book from my bag. I sad down on the silk white cushions. When I was reading I checked my watch every so often to make sure that i'm in bed in time.
