Tiffany's fingertips glided across the beautiful decorations as she walked into the Great Hall, Jacques Rosegates tucked under her arm. It was so pretty! So beautifully decorated. It made her happy, and she happily swung Jacques around as she twirled towards the flowers and bent down to touch them, fingers brushing over the blossoms and the roses. She wanted to find the people who decorated the Great Hall and congratulate them.
"Jacques! This place is beautiful! So beautiful, just perfect!" Tiffany exclaimed while twirling him around, most likely drawing attention from some others at the ball. She glanced over at the room, surveying the friends and lovers that surrounded them. There were two people in a slight scuffle ( @Regina Miller, @Flash Holmwood as his iNPC) and Tiffany considered helping them chill out. She turned to Jacques, whose eyes yelled"No" at her. Oh well. They could just eat potluck!
"Ooooh! Let's go eat, Jacques! The food over there looks delicous." she said before approaching the potluck tables, avoiding the fighting people but watching them as she plopped various foods on her plate, making sure to tie a hankerchief around her neck to protect her white dress. Her aunt would kill her if she got stains on it.
Tiffany jumped when the girl threw hot soup at the boy, and she backed away, far, far away from the girl. Immediately, Tiffany thought of Ashley, and she shuddered, keeping a grip on her bag. She wasn't about to get her notebooks destroyed again.

"Which ones would you like, Jacques?" she asked the rabbit, tearing her eyes away from the fighting people and a girl @Faye Simmons, who had approached the crazy girl. Tiffany felt bad for the girl, but did not intervene.
Tiffany turned towards Jacques, whose head had tilted towards one of the foods, and Tiffany clapped in delight, as if he'd chose it himself.
"Marvelous choice!" she said happily, piling it on her plate before sitting down and chowing down.
"Oh my! I'm quite sorry, mon petit poète," Tiffany apologised to Jacques, tying a small napkin around his neck and shooting another look at the poor girl again. She wondered if she should invite her to sit with her and Jacques, and turned to Jacques for input.
"Jacques! Would you mind if we invited her to sit with us?" she asked Jacques before listening closely, even though he did not speak.
"No? Why? Not enough space? That's an excuse... Oh, no!" Tiffany gasped, glancing over at the Ashley-like girl. If Jacques wasn't joking and that really was her date, then she needed to save her! It was her duty. She felt so bad for the girl!
Tiffany carefully approached them, but changed her mind and backed away, looking at a distance and crossing her fingers.

"I'm not scared," she assured Jacques- which was true. She were just a child- she couldn't hurt Tiffany. But she could hurt that other girl. "I'll just make sure she doesn't do something...not nice."

Serena exhaled sharply, adjusting her hair nervously before fixing her clothing. Her long hair lay loosely, covering both ears. Her outfit was a lot more colourful and 'ball' like than she had planned. Initially, she planned to come in jeans, like she did last time. It seemed to be the safest option. However, her brother had specifically said she had to dress up for some reason. After all, this was the day he was going to be announced as champion blah blah blah - Serena stopped listening, in fairness. For the sake of her sanity, she chose to just dress for the event, picking out an Indian outfit that she found in her trunk. It was a chaniya choli, which is a three-part outfit that has a skirt, a blouse and a "shawl" like item. Her outfit was a light blue, with flowers all over the blouse and lots of colour on the hem of her shawl. Underneath the skirt, she totally had a pair of leggings and boots - but no one could see that, so it was fine.

Pizza Rat was on her shoulder today. He normally enjoyed hiding under her hat or in a pocket but they were not really options today. Serena had a small pouch by her hip that clipped in, which had her wand attached to it and acted like a wand holder for the event. Pizza was donning a little scarf around his head, as though he was dressed up for the event too. Perhaps he was her date for the occasion! It would make sense, he tended to be her date.

If she was honest, she was a little nervous. She was not really used to dressing up. She had made an effort at the Valentine's Tea Party to wear some makeup and it ended up just being very awkward when she found herself flirting with Hugh and suddenly thinking he was cute, which was very awkward indeed. This time, she just... wanted a day without randomly thinking her friends are cute because of a stupid love potion or without hag slugs. She had even dressed the part - though her plan was probably to just hide in the corner somewhere. Maybe by the food?

With a box of samosas in her hands, she exhaled again before continuing down the corridor. Serena made her way to the Great Hall. Yet another ball without a date. Though, even if she had a date, it would always be platonic... which kind of sucked. But she did not have the guts nor the desire to ask anyone - or rather, a specific someone - on a romantic date, so this was what happened. The samosas were for the potluck thing that was apparently taking place. She figured that she could bring a little piece of home to the event. It was either something from her Indian culture or Goblin and in fairness, she did not really know what 'goblin' food was. It was probably just... normal food, right? Did they eat anything differently? She did not know. That and she also had done her best to hide that part of her, trying to maintain the 'pureblood' image that most people still thought she was.

Making her way into the Great Hall, her eyes immediately scanned the room for any familiar faces. If her brother was somewhere, she would definitely know to go in the other direction or go to the other part as she heard there was something outside too. If her crush was there, she would have to turn and flee, of course, before things got more awkward. Though... she could not help but wonder if he had a date to the ball or not. Argh, what was she thinking? She could not be in the same room as him without her feelings being super evident anyway! They had managed to patch things up for the most part but it was still kind of awkward. Avoiding the situation was just smarter. These were just the normal strategies.

Her eyes fell onto the goblet. She stared at it for a moment before sighing. Spotting a familiar face - though far more beautiful and cleaner than she recalled - she noticed @Erin Ryan. The girl had been at the Tea Party too but today, she was dressed cutely and looked stunning. The girl likely caught everyone's attention! Serena was a bit jealous if she was being honest. Exhaling softly, she steadied her nerves and made her way over to Erin, "H-hey Erin, you look incredible. I love that dress-" Noticing the girl did not really have anything in her hands, she held her box forward a little, "Oh! I bought these for the table thing. Did you want to try one? They are a little spicy but they are kind of nice," She offered the samosas to Erin, not entirely what else to really say.

In truth, she did not really know Erin very well. The girl was still just that girl that made her cry a few times several years ago. They had successfully ignored each other till the last ball and now Serena kept seeing her around. Something about her made Serena feel compelled to approach her and try. Maybe they could be friends. Unlikely but a Hufflepuff could certainly try. Hugh seemed to be somewhat fond of her, so... perhaps there was something that Serena was just missing? "So uh, did you put your name in?" She asked, nodding her head towards the goblet to try and make some conversation. Erin Ryan, the Hogwarts champion... She was not entirely sure how she felt about this but the Slytherin appeared to have been through hell and survived so, she probably would be able to win a tournament now that Serena thought about it.

@Henry Knight
Adlai had been impatiently waiting for the Blossom Ball ever since her fellow classmate and friend, Henry Knight had asked her to be his partner to the dance. However, through all of her excitement and joy she had forgotten to tell anyone that she was even going to the ball in the first place. Only now realizing it at she stood stiff as a board in the corridor just outside the Great Hall were the festivities had begun to take place.

She was wearing a pastel purple dress, with spotted and sprawling floral embroidery, while the collar, sleeve ends and skirt contained simple ruffles. Her hijab and heeled mary jane shoes both set to match, and just as always, whenever she attended a school function she had used some of the few cosmetics her mother had packed in her school bags before leaving home. It was simple, but she really did feel pretty. Silly enough, she hoped Henry thought the same.

Stepping into the doorway she scanned the ever filling room before spotting her target. From where she stood she could see his knee bouncing up and down. To her he looked like a deer in head lights, still and nervous. She smiled, it was nice to see that side of him. The side of him that wasn't the cool and collected person he typically seemed to be.

Taking a deep breath she of course approached him and cleared her throat.
"As-salamu alaikum, Henry." She said.

Getting ready, Bailey felt butterflies begin to flutter in her stomach. She was excited, terrified, thrilled and calm all at the same time. Excited to go to a ball, terrified she would make a fool of herself, thrilled that she had a date, and calm because part of her was sure it would go fine.
As she zipped up her peach colored dress, Bailey laced up the heels and slipped on her jewelry. She had a peach ring her Polish grandmother had given her, little hoop earrings that had like birds with nests on them, and her bracelet. Her bracelet was unique, because the jewel in it was not actually a jewel but a bostaff that extended if she hit it at the right angle.
Brushing a little blush on, Bailey looked at herself in the mirror. Deciding to quit messing around, Bailey pinned up her hair and headed for the stairs.
Arriving at the Great Hall, Bailey walked in. She had never arranged with @James Owens on where to meet, so she decided to just head in and look for him. Bailey also had a nagging feeling that he was going to bring her something- and she had not thought to bring him anything.
Making a mental note to bake him something and either tell him to go to the kitchen to meet him or owl it to him, Bailey looked up and all around. Wondering if anyone she knew like James or @Jorah Moussa had entered themselves for the tournament, she really didn’t regret not submitting herself.
Seeing a few people she recognized, Bailey kept wandering around looking for James.

𝕽egina was still fuming at the boy who had ruined her night when a timid, almost apprehensive voice spoke up behind her. She turned around with a grimace, intending to tell whoever it was to sod off but her thoughts instantly came to a halt when she recognised the familiar red hair and warm brown eyes she'd grown fond of staring into. She felt her breath hitched slightly when her gaze lowered to the exquisite pink flower gown Faye was wearing, and her heart did a funny leap at the realisation that the other girl loved her gift enough to actually don it to the ball. After all, Regina had wrote a very elaborate letter to her Mother to order their house elves to create the perfect ballgown for Faye, as the Muggleborn did not have anything appropriate for fancy events. How it looked good on the Ravenclaw now, painting her in an entirely different light than Regina was used to seeing.

"Hello," The ravenette breathed, purple eyes softening immediately as she turned her back on the other idiotic boy in favour of giving Faye her undivided attention. She was much more important than some dimwit trying to ruin Regina's night. "You finally came. Apologies for my current...unsavoury predicament. You...you look beautiful in the gown I gave you."

The gravity of the situation fell upon the Gryffindor at once and her already porcelain skin blanched with mortification. Faye had appeared at the worst possible moment, and Regina was now standing in all her juice-drenched glory instead of impeccable hair, make-up and gown. How she must look ridiculous in the other girl's eyes. Regina would never admit this out loud, but she had been secretly waiting for this moment to impress Faye with the knowledge that she'd put her name into the Goblet of Fire, and to show her the wonders of a magical ball with dancing and tasting delicacies from other countries. Instead, she was standing in front of her crush best friend looking like a complete laughingstock.
What does she think of me now? I am no longer the well-mannered and respectable Pureblood companion in her eyes.
The raven-haired witch was so caught up in her chagrin that she hadn't noticed herself going eerily silent. Her purple eyes were fixated on Faye's cute nervous face with her lips pursed, fists clenched at her side and posture rigid. She didn't even think of using her wand to fix her appearance. Her mind were a jumble of thoughts about how hesitant she was in front of a well-dressed Faye, the humiliation of being caught making a scene, and her fear about what her red-haired friend was going to think of her now.

"Oh, so you've decided to talk to me again? Or are you looking for the nearest exit?"

"Por que no los dos," he shrugged. Why not both? He replied snidely. He did not move or attempt to resist as she reached for his collar. His posture remained erect, the little house elf of a girl was a literal powerhouse and she was quickly reduced to threatening him physically. He was a good eight inches taller than her, he let out a soundless chuckle.

"Well, believe it or not, I wasn't too keen on shopping for a new ballgown, so it was either this or my Quidditch uniform, but I haven't gotten the mud out of it from our last game. We won. Again." She lied and he knew it, he had never seen the girl in anything less than a dress on an average day. The girl likely had a walk in closet for a trunk to fit all of the outfits, gowns, baubles and accessories she donned.

"Doubtful," he replied.

"You want to tell me why you even gave me this gown? You ignored me for literally months, dumped me in front of the entire school via howler, and then tossed the damn thing at me."

"It was a step up from what you usually wore," he was prepared for her grip to tighten. It was fine, the point was to incense her. "Meant for a wizard instead of a muggle girl trying to play dress-up, dress for the life you want not the damned life that you have." Of farms with mud and livestock, of a life of mediocracy where failure is not only accepted but expected. "If you look the role, nobody will question if you deserve it, now take it before they become wise."

So where was her date? She would not show up to a fete such as this without an arm to hang off or. Not with a supposed ex in the room. He would have assumed that Levi had asked but in truth he would not have th0ught the girl would have been so desperate or had that little self-worth. He was wrong.

"I... I DON'T need a date, Mathias, but someone did happen to ask me. He's just a little late."

He believed her but it sounded ridiculous. "Yes, he is running late. Goes to a different school, I probably never heard of him. Oh I just missed him and he is now getting you punch?" There was a bite to his voice, an abrasiveness to his words that she had not heard before. Not at the first dance, the one she had forgotten even where he was agitating her but this time he seemed to be trying to hurt her.

"Why do you even care?"

A good question, one he was about to answer when someone... Cough his roommate in disguise scurried over to the food table. He just wanted to stuff his face in peace before he was named the Champion, a representative of purebloods and likely winner as long as he could keep his head in the game. As long as there were no distractions. Winning fairly was not a consideration for the teen. A victory was a victory as far as he was concerned, a life built on lies was just as good... no better because it was a life he wanted to live.

Ahhhh Mathias. You came!

Mathias did not recognize his obnoxious roommate, a face full of make-up wearing one of Winnie's cheap, frilly, pink gowns. He assumed it was some girl from Mahoutokoro, although why she knew his name was not a question he cared to explore. He just gave her a cold look and never bothered to meet her eyes, even when she slapped a hand on his shoulder. Before this moment it was unlikely that anyone had ever seen the teen eat anything besides a handful of nuts or a drink of water from a personal bottle.

From Japanese to English she [Hiro] was access his girlfriend and he would sneer. He had not pulled away from Winnie's ironman grip nor did he have any intention of interfering with her rough play, her tough girl act. But when he presented Pride with the skewer, Mathias would break one of the rules he had for himself. 私から逃げる[Watashi kara nigeru] he would mutter in a low, threatening voice that Winnie had never heard and before now his roommate Hiro had never heard Mathias utter a single word less an incantation. The phrase was clear, threatening and came from a deep place in his throat that rumbled like gravel beneath his heel.

Translation: Get away from me.

His gaze would flicker in their direction. She somewhat reminded him of Winnie, he squinted and shook his head. The ever-loving fuck? Hair too short but a palate of pastels and pink, cheap frills. There was a young man behind him, he vaguely recognized him as an underclassman from Mahoutokoro. Polite, but the boy was always considered more 'tolerable' because he could take a hint and leave him alone unlike his obnoxious roommate Hiro who was like the younger brother he never wanted, not that he wanted the one that he had.

Couldn't this strangely familiar girl see he was already in the middle of a "domestic" situation. He would make mention of Hiro, his nosy, brat of a roommate. A crush, probably accurate if he did not read too much from what happened in the cabins. Not that he had a particular affinity for men or women, he leaned in whatever direction was the most advantageous for him. Nothing more. Nothing less. or so that was what he had always told himself.

"Does he? Is that who the flowers are for? Found my replacement already?"

"No," he admitted, not that the words would meet her. Not that he really wanted them to. she was too far gone in her own imagination, he had intended on creating a schism between the two of them to prevent them from communicating about him. He was not a fan of speaking in front of his Japanese schoolmates, the reasoning simple -- the less they knew the better it was for him in every conceivable way. He just was not being given another viable alternative it would seem. "I just found flowers softer than fists and was hoping to disarm you, I am dateless and have no interests outside y--" he almost said you but stopped himself.

"Y-You can wear whatever you want, Hiro, but you should probably keep a collar and leash on Mathias if you're planning on making him stay."

She warned. "I don't think I am old enough for that sort of thing," he claimed. The bickering between the two of them on display for the gawkers, the girl and boy or so he thought for a brief moment.

"Puraido-senpai," Akira would address him and he would look over the strange, overly familiar girl and make eye contact with the boy. His gaze would mark the temporary union of their hands. He would nod in reply, he felt somewhat naked responding with his features exposed as they were. He had never spoke, even in turn less it was to cast specific and necessary incantations. "I hope you're enjoying yourself? How does it feel to be back at your former school?" he continued but it was unlikely he expected an answer in English or otherwise. The most he would get was a curt, polite but stoic nod from the tall teen.

"I-I," he would finally force something out to address the person his voice already heard plenty enough but habits are what they are. "Am a bit indisposed in a domestic dispute I am afraid, so no... my return has not been terribly enjoyable," he admitted.

"Harper-san, did you play a part in Bakugo-san's outfit?"

He would let out a breath of air audibly, he looked displeased by this entire encounter. "Get out of her dress Bakugo," he would announce with an intent to the words that few would recognize. There was a maleficence that his cruel chiding and needling lacked, even his gruff and blunt statements. His hand were free, it was but his collar that Winnie had possessed. He was no fighter in terms of martial prowess. He was a wizard, an actual wizard and he was damn capable of that.

"...Diffindo."

French English
An astute young lady with coal black hair and a prepared neutral face stepped into the Great Hall with not so much as a hesitant look around. Her floral dress was ornately decorated with different colored flowers, details going down to the florets. It was a strange mix, the flowery outfit mixed with the strangely dull girl. Her heels clacked on the floor beneath.

Castor would admit she appreciated the representation of the French alongside the other schools, taking note of how the previous house decor was changed to fit with the entrance of new schools. The French girl could still hardly remember the houses names anyways.

Strolling through the crowd smoothly, she searched around for something to do in the otherwise crazy place. Some people were covered in what looked like soup while others chatted calmly. It was a strange mix, yet a good representation of the clashing schools. She brushed aside her tied up hair, revealing a black flower bracelet, and continued forward. A pair of clean black flower earrings swayed with her movements.

She didn't know quite what she was searching for. Maybe a damsel with nice hair and a pretty dress, or a charming man with a sharp suit and a confident swagger, or even just another person who attended Beauxbatons for Castor to be aware of. She had the lowest of hopes for this event.

Stepping around the groups and couples and few lonely souls, Castor took a few clean steps towards the potluck tables to gaze at the nice meals and cultural creations.

James was getting ready for the Blossom Ball. His first one considering he was a First year. He finished buttoning up his shirt and then his vest. He tied his shoes then slipped on his watch. He began to walk out the door almost forgetting the corsage he had for Bailey. He walked back to his bed and grabbed it. It would be a shame if he did forget it.

James walked down to the great hall. He could already hear the music playing and the laughter and voices of the other students from each school. He walked in and stood near then entrance. He wasn't sure if Bailey was here yet or not. He waited for about fifteen minutes. He looked around. Where is she? Please don't tell me she stood me up. He hoped to himself quietly. That's when he saw her. Or at least he thought he did. It was just a glimpse of a blonde girl in a peach coloured dress. It had to be Bailey. They had coordinated to match their outfits for the night.

James began to walk towards the unknown figure. He bumped into someone apologizing as they sneered at him. The figure moved. He walked quicker hoping to catch up to them. Praying that it was Bailey. It was. He tapped her on the shoulder whilst standing behind her. "Bailey!"He smiled and pulled her into a short hug. " I uhm... I brought you a little something. It's just a corsage." James took the corsage out of its little container and placed it upon Bailey's wrist with a smile.

Pax shouldered on their black suit jacket over their plain white shirt, slipping on a few silver rings onto their fingers, and finally laced up their shoes. Aware that this was a formal occasion, they had for once put some effort into their appearance as not to embarrass their partner. For their outfit, they'd settled on a classic suit with some feminine touches, an outfit that could match relatively well with whatever Simon-no Mandy dressed in. Running one hand through their hair that lay parted like usual as the other hand reapplied one final coat of shiny lip balm, they smiled at themself in the mirror once more, doing one final spray of perfume and grabbing a small bouquet of colorful flowers, before running down to the Great Hall.

Upon arriving, Pax realised quickly that they and Mandy hadn't agreed upon a meeting place, so instead decided to simply head inside and look for them, whilst also admiring and examining the surrounding decorations that had been put up with presumably a lot of care. They did feel bad they hadn't managed to bring anything for the potluck, but knowing their own cooking abilities, it was probably for the better. Anything they offered would probably end up untouched in the trash, which was fair. Cooking was simply a skill they could not master.

Florian had been excited for this ball and not for the typical reasons one might expect, like food, dancing, or even chatting with friends. No, Florian had a whole other topic on his mind - that of the Hexwizard tournament. Tonight would be the night that the champions would be chosen, and Florian was beyond ready for the recognition that he felt he deserved.

Because of that, Florian had donned the most French Fashionable look he could, while of course wanting to match his date in the process. A tan two piece suit, dark brown dockers, and a blue floral shirt made up his ensemble, the blue flowers on the shirt to match his date's navy blue dress as well as to get into the theme of the Blossom Ball. He had also pinned a pair of blue roses onto his suit jacket pocket as a matching boutonniere. He had also meticulously gelled his hair back, wanting to look as professional as possible. He smirked to himself as he made the way to the festival. Damn, he did look good.

In his hands he carried a small tray of one of the local delicacies from his hometown of Strasbourg, France, a dish known as Kougelhopf. Specifically, these were mini-Kougelhopf, better for a setting such as this, where you wouldn't have to cut a slice and could take one as you wanted. These little pastries were vanilla flavored topped with almonds and powdered sugar, and it was one of Florian's favorite treats that he was excited to share.

He finally found his way into the Great Hall, the goblet of fire catching his eye immediately. It was hard for the young boy to take his eyes off of it, its glow tempting him to come closer and closer. Over the course of the time he had been at Hogwarts this trip, he had found himself wandering in here just to stare at the Goblet, seeing his future inside its fiery depths.

He managed to tear his eyes away from it to set his tray of Kougelhopf down on the table, and proceeded to find his date. Typically he would arrive with them, wanting to make a grand entrance, but he couldn't tear himself away from his thoughts, so he would have to find his date in the crowd of people who had arrived before him.

Luckily it wasn't too hard, smiling as he spotted her looking up at the banners flying above the hall. "Bonjour, mademoiselle Fayre." Hello, Miss Fayre. he said, smiling, bowing, and offering an outstretched hand to kiss if she so desired. "You look lovely tonight." he said, his flirtatious smile still shining bright.

He thought about staying and enjoying the food, but the call of the Goblet was too strong, and he really needed to distance himself until the announcement was made. Perhaps heading to the main festival to see what else there was to offer would be the best move.

"Mademoiselle Fayre, would you like to head to the courtyard? I've heard there are some games being played outdoors." If she agreed, the pair would head out to the Festival.
