She hadn't received a kiss from Anja, but that was okay with Haley. She nodded understandingly to the girl and took a seat on her beanbag again. Maybe this experience would save itself for a while after all, but before she could think about it any further, her eyes fell on Simon, who had already made his way to his kissing partner. Things probably couldn't move fast enough for the Mister. Stop Haley, you're not getting jealous now. The redhead admonished herself as she looked at the two with a fixed gaze. Would they both get a kiss or would they both come up empty like Haley had just done?

Haley didn't want to stare but it was too hard for her to avert her gaze so she just kept staring, she certainly wasn't the only one. Only she was probably the only one who had the evil eye on. Gosh, how long are you going to keep looking. Kiss him or don't. Haley thought to herself and admonished herself once more. Haley mentally mimicked her giggle and rolled her eyes, this was the moment she really loosened her gaze now. She rolled her shoulders and took one deep breath. She wasn't the type to be jealous and she wanted to stay that way. It was just a kiss, nothing wild, right?

Haley concentrated on continuing the game until it was finally her turn again to focus on something else. She spun the bottle, tracking it with her eyes until it finally came to a stop. Another unfamiliar girl. Long blonde hair, blue eyes. A new round, a new happiness. Haley got up from her seat and walked towards the girl, smiling playfully devilishly at her. "Would you grant me a kiss?" she now asked in a very gentlemanly manner, having already won a first rebuff.

How would this round turn out? Would Haley now receive a kiss or would she go away empty-handed again? She looked tensely into the blue eyes in front of her, from which she could hardly take her eyes off, and waited anxiously for a reaction.

After sharing a 'tender' cheek kiss with the American boy, Felix offered him a playful wink, "It's Felix Kolbeck." He offered his name to him with a soft chuckle. Why not? It was all in good fun, so long as the bottle didn't land on some girl who actually wanted to kiss him, he would be fine.

There were a few overly dramatic reactions, of course. Ones that made him chuckle, others that caused the Swedish boy to cringe. People did realize hugging was an option, right? One girl appeared to faint at the mere idea of kissing a brunette boy with an interesting-looking scar decorating his face. Had they interacted? Perhaps, it was the end of August and a lot had not been determined. Either way, ouch. Felix couldn't help but feel for the poor guy. He wasn't even bad-looking, shouldn't the girl be happy? That's what most girls wanted, right? At least, it was what they wanted in Felix's experience. A good-looking guy to kiss and swoon over or someone who was pureblood. Well, she had gotten the 'swoon' part right, it would seem. "Maybe she forgot to floss." He offered as an explanation.

Soon it was time for the bottle to spin again and he shrugged his shoulders, reaching in to twirl the bottle once more.

And it landed on 'Miss Swoons-A-Lot' who might have still been faceplanted against the floor. With a quirk of his brow, the Swedish boy would blow her a playful kiss before stating, "Luckily for you, I'm not into kissing girls who aren't into kissing me, and you left your last partner hanging, so I think I'll rectify that mistake."

Was he about to kiss Jack Warren? Yes, yes he was. Felix was not interested in men, per se, but what was a kiss between two bros? He stood, walked over to the Hufflepuff, and then knelt down beside him. His hands reached up to grab his face by the jaw. He leaned in until their lips were sealed together. Thankfully he also practiced good dental hygiene so his kissing partner would find his mouth rather minty fresh.

For a moment, he thought that Atlas would perhaps reject him just to be funny. But to his enjoyment, the girl quickly scooted over to honor his request for a kiss. Fully enjoying the brief moment, he felt the girl push him away with a laugh and Ethen happily plopped back down to see what else was going on.

He was truly surprised that so many of the other campers seemed terrified at the thought of kissing one another. He would think if someone sat down at a game of spin the bottle, they would at least know what they are getting into. He watched as poor Jack was scorned by his match who had quickly bolted away. What he did try not to laugh, it was a bit difficult to not be a bit amused by the reaction. “Don’t worry Jack, your stench makes you stronger,” Ethen teased with a slight chuckle. “I promise I won’t run from you,” he added, making a kissing face at Jack for a moment.

But his attention slowly meandered back to the game as the bottle again began to spin. There seemed to be inevitable nerves that trickled over Ethen as the bottle moved and he wondered if he would need to kiss the one spinning. He was still determined to not back down from the bottle’s challenge. It seemed he would have to put that to the test, however, as a girl who he did not recognize had the bottle stop on him.

It was one thing to kiss someone he knew, like Atlas or even the mighty Jack, but there was a bit of added nerves at the prospect of kissing someone he didn’t know. Glancing around, Ethen quickly shrugged the nerves away and returned his gaze to the unfamiliar girl with a warm smile. She had seemed a bit nervous with her previous match and Ethen thought his somewhat passionate kiss with Atlas might scare people off who might already be battling nerves. But there was no backing down, even if it ended with people running away or slapping him. “Hi! I’m Ethen...I am going to try and kiss you. I would be appreciative if you did not smack me in the head,” Ethen teased, while also knowing that it was very much a possibility.

Shifting to his knees to approach his match, Ethen began to lean towards Greta with the intention of kissing the girl and while hoping that the girl did not take it as an opportunity to slap him. But he was ready for such an attack if it came to that.

Bros will be bros. Jack was pleased about that fact. Jack just gave a grin at Alec, Felix, & Ethen, "Thanks, mates! I was worried there for a second-WAIT- WHAT DO YOU MEAN MY STENCH?" He couldn't help but give a scornful glance back at the boy and pointedly ignored the smoochy lips that Ethan had shot his way. It was a gift to be smooched by such a handsome prefect. "Flossing sucks, I get it." He nodded along to the foreign student. He had been given some 'sound' advice from Alec. Sadly the sarcasm was lost on the boy. "That's a thing? What the hell? A kiss is just a kiss-" The utter shock the boy wore on his face was rather apparent. Why are people so uptight about kissing and stuff, and how had he not been taught about this obsession?

Warren had settled back into his place, and the game quickly continued. Anticipation was building in his gut as the bottle spun. The Gryffindor bro had turned the bottle, and it landed on a familiar Hufflepuff. Had they talked before? Nope! But Jack had seen him before. However, the events that proceeded shook him. The white-haired fella had spun and landed on miss runaway. Obviously, Jack took nothing odd out of the fact that Felix was walking towards him. Maybe they just wanted a chat or something? Before he knew it, that boy had him by the jaw, and their lips were planted together! Bros kiss all the time, bros kiss all the time- was all that Jack could say in his head, and before he could say 'oh this is happening now' the kiss was over. "Uh-cool." He wasn't really used to being caught off guard, but that for sure did it. "It's my turn to spin now, right?"

Quickly as he could, Jack grabbed the bottle and spun hard. Round and round, it spun before the force of momentum the bottle held died. It had landed on a person Jack had honestly never interacted with before, but hell, if he wasn't going to make the first move. Standing up, he walked over before planting himself directly in front of Anja. His walk was filled with manly bravado as if he hadn't just kissed a bro. "You. Me. Kiss, yeah?" was all he said before leaning for a kiss.

Atlas had been surprised with the first round of spins. She had expected that everyone who sat down knew what they were getting into. But clearly, there were some people who were far too shy to accept or offer kisses. She wasn’t sure why someone would sit down at a game of spin the bottle expecting anything else. But perhaps she was just more open to the situation and reminded herself that she shouldn’t judge others too harshly if they got cold feet when it came down to it.

Atlas had even found herself snickering some as kisses were rejected or some participants just ran away when faced with the prospect of a kiss. Sure, hers had been easy as she had kissed Ethen hundreds of times but maybe she would find herself more nervous as the rounds continued. Shaking her head as she realized that she was zoning, Atlas refocused her attention on the group as she watched the head of the bottle land right in front of her.

Reflexively Atlas’ heart dropped to her feet as she hadn’t been paying attention to who was spinning but as the gorgeous redheaded girl made her way over to her, the young girl quickly figured it out. Seeing as most of Atlas’ free time was consumed with Quidditch practices and games she immediately recognized the girl to be Haley Rose who was a second-string player for the Gryffindor team although she hadn’t had the opportunity to play her yet. She also vaguely knew that Haley was with Simon, a fellow Hufflepuff, although she had never really talked to him much either.

“Would you grant me a kiss?” Haley devilishly quipped as Atlas stared up at her flooded green eyes. Not only would this only be the second person she has kissed but it would be the first girl as Atlas did her best to keep from looking at Simon and for that matter Ethen not wanting to know if either of them would be upset but once again she had to remind herself that they all sat down to the same game knowing what the outcome would be.

Pushing off the ground, Atlas stood up to face Haley as she could already feel her cheeks heating up, her heartbeat throbbing in her ears as she nodded, matching Haley’s coy energy. “It would be my absolute privilege.” She replied gently reaching her hand out as she placed her fingertips on Haley’s chin gently pulling her face close to her for a kiss before her courage could evaporate.

The girl’s lips were soft, sending a shiver down Atlas’ spine as she held the kiss before slowly removing her hand from Haley’s face gently pulling away. Staring at her for a moment, Atlas hoped her cheeks were not revealing her every emotion as she playfully bowed to the girl before returning to her spot on the ground watching as the girl did the same.

It was her turn to spin the bottle now as she gently brushed her lip with her thumb before giving the bottle an aggressive spin. Taking a moment to slow its momentum, Atlas’ eyes grew in dilation as finally, it landed on Simon Kincaid.

What are the odds? Of all the people I get Simon? Does this make me a homewrecker…

Thoughts swarmed her already flustered mind as she stared across the way at Simon. After the two incredible kisses, she had already received she had to at least see where Simon ranked as Atlas made the first move walking over to him.

“I know I just kissed your girl, but I hope you won’t hold that against me,” She playfully joked, hoping to lighten the mood. “Perhaps you would offer me the same courtesy?”

She had no idea how she could play a violent game of Quidditch in the rain dodging bludgers with a clear mind but now playing a party game, all of her nerves and anxiety were on full alert. She had never really spoken to Simon or Haley for that matter and here they were skipping basic greetings and going straight to PDA.

Staring down at Simon, Atlas waited with bated breath as she tried to maintain her outward composure to see what Simon would decide.

Pressing a soft kiss to Rhea’s cheek | Action
The fake kiss had somewhat eased Sarah’s nerves about the whole game, and she found herself settling back in for the evening with less anxiety and more excitement. She’d watched enough of the other students play to know that despite the premise of spin the bottle, kissing wasn’t actually necessary. At least not properly. She watched as everyone continued to spin the bottle and hug or place delicate kisses on the cheeks of the people it landed on.

When it came around to her turn, Sarah took a cautionary look around the circle which had slightly decreased from the last time she’d been up, before spinning the bottle. She watched as it spun round a few times, momentarily transfixed on the twirling motion and only managing to tear her eyes away when it finally came to a shaking stop, seeming almost to stop between two people before finally landing on a girl she’d just watched kiss Simon from the PURE meet last year. She didn’t know the girl, though assumed she was from Hogwarts, most likely the year below her, and a Gryffindor if the colour of her headband meant anything.

She was pretty, Sarah concluded as she briefly looked over her dark hair and unique features, but the Slytherin stood by the fact that she didn’t exactly want her first kiss to be with a stranger. Not that she cared awfully for it being something fantastic, but certainly she hoped she might care something for the one she first kissed. With that thought in mind, Sarah stood up, catching the girl’s eyes – her lips quirking slightly – before walking over to her.

If when Sarah reached the girl she too stood up, she would offer the younger a teasing grin and a wink in hopes of making her find the situation funny rather than awkward. “Hi, I’m Sarah,” she’d smile. If the girl didn’t look too uncomfortable by this stage, then Sarah would lean forward to press a soft kiss to the girl’s cheek. When she moved backwards, she’d laugh softly, finding the entire situation, the whole concept idea of playing this game with their teachers so nearby, laughable. The light in her bright eyes would tell the girl as much, that she wasn’t laughing at her, rather with her at the position they’d found themselves. Then Sarah would turn and walk away to sit back in her place in the circle, still smiling to herself.

When she had leaned in for the kiss, Lydia definitely couldn't imagine the reaction that the other girl had. She thought that she might have declined, or kissed her, or maybe hugged her, but she had never thought that she might have made her run away.

The moment that she heard her struggling to find her words, Lydia opened her eyes -when did she even close them?- and looked at the other girl with a furrowed brow, worry written all over her features. She never wanted to make her feel bad, or embarrassed, and she was tempted to say something, but before she could do, or say, anything, the girl had apologised and ran away. "I- I'm sorry!" she tried to say, hoping that Starlee might have heard her. Well, that was definitely a great way to start the game.

To distract herself from feeling too sad -she really hoped that the other girl was okay- Lydia looked around and saw that not everybody was kissing the person they had gotten from the bottle. So kissing the cheek or hug someone were also available options, that was good to know! Once the next round of spinning came, Lydia didn't have to spin the bottle; she tried to follow it with her eyes, and when it stopped moving, she looked up into the direction, and her eyes landed on a cute boy with brown hair.

Feeling way less confident than before, and definitely unsure on what to do, Lydia moved closer to him. "Hi, I'm Lydia," she said, and leaned in to kiss the boy's cheek.

"Everything beautiful is ruined eventually."

Willow had truly gotten herself into a mess she didn't even realize she had gotten herself into before she knew it. What seemed like a harmless game developing was something that had quickly gone south. When she plopped herself into it she hadn't realized her ex-boyfriend, Jack Warren, was sitting in the growing circle. She also didn't know what spin the bottle was. Surely this was just an opportunity to make some friends at camp? Surely, what could go wrong.

Famous last words, as there were many things that could go wrong.

Willow found herself intensely observing the people that took a turn before her, and the dread started growing as she realized this was a kissing game. She had a girlfriend! She was with Astrea! This was so bad! If Astrea found out she was involved, would she be mad at Willow? It was a terrifying prospect for her. Willow started thinking of a way out of this, especially since she didn't want herself and Jack paired together. That would be the worst possible pairing she could imagine.

Well, maybe the second worst. As the bottle landed on her amidst her panic. When her eyes found who spun it, fear brewed as quickly as a witches potion. Her body went rigid, and her eyes went wide with panic. Greta. The chaser that absolutely obliterated Willow in the Durmstrang vs Hogwarts game, the chaser that Willow couldn't stop. A member of the team that made her quit Quidditch. Did she not recognize Willow? Why was she trying to kiss her? On the lips? This was obscene!

As Greta's lips neared hers Willow's panicked boiled over as she abruptly stood up. "I have to go- my cat- is calling me!" A poor excuse, but the usually bubbly blonde was off without another word to anyone in the circle. There was a growing redness on her cheeks that Willow felt gradually heating up her face.

This was one occasion Willow would be contemplating at three in the morning when she couldn't sleep from now until she died.

In a snap decision, finally overcoming her hesitance and nerves, Greta had finally leaned in with every intention of kissing the girl she'd spun. That was the game, no? The expectation that everyone had when they'd signed up for it, yes? Even if there had been some confusion about the rules or what the game was about, that would have been cleared up right near the start after the first few examples; and by the looks of it, the Hogwarts students played this game promiscuously and without reservation. So how could Greta have possibly thought she would have been rejected...?

There was no resistance where she had expected to find it. And so she'd leaned just a bit farther, thinking perhaps she'd misjudged the distance before going in. She hadn't. Eyes flew wide as her point of balance tipped past the point of no return and she practically toppled forward, hands dropping to the ground to catch herself in a sort of frog-like squat. A confusion-riddled face peered up at the retreating figure of the pretty blonde girl whose lips stammered out an excuse that Greta couldn't quite understand. She left. And Greta was left, perched awkwardly, alone and abandoned.

In silence, face glowing like one of the tomatoes that had coated it only days before, she retreated back to her spot to simmer. Had she done something wrong? She dropped to her rear, skirts collected beneath her. From what she'd seen boys had been kissing boys, and girls had kissed girls. As far as she could tell, she hadn't broken any of the rules. Knees pulled up to her chest, arms wrapping around them as her chin lowered to rest upon them. But the girl had looked positively terrified. It reminded her of how the muggle children in the village nearby to her home had looked upon her at times. But just like then... she hadn't done anything.

Had she?

Shoulders dropped as her gaze lowered to the spot in the circle where the bottle sat. As though hypnotized, she watched it spin. Round and round, and round again. This camp hadn't been nearly as fun as last year's. Even with how well she had performed during the duelling, that had been a bit bitter sweet since she'd had to watch the quidditch match, yearning to be up on a broom while being stuck firmly with two feet on the ground. Lost in thought and trying to puzzle out what had just happened, the game continued around her, but she had mentally checked out.

Someone spoke. A boy. She'd seen the movement from across the circle towards her, but the action hadn't really registered. Not until the voice had sounded right before her. Sea green eyes lifted to peer up at the boy from below a fan of honeyed lashes.

"Ehm.. hallo..?" she had replied, somewhat uncertainly at his greeting, returning a, "I am Greta."

Even these few words were enough to dismiss any possible notion that she was anything other than an eastern European foreigner, her accent thickly Norwegian. But as for the rest of what he had said, much of it had gone over her head. Admittedly, ever since her regular correspondence with Theo had waned, she'd had very little reason to make use of and practice her English. And as she'd once heard said... Use it, or lose it. And so she'd lost much of it. Reflexively, she had broken eye contact with the boy, glancing instead in the direction of the one person there who she knew might be able to offer translation—Theo. But that was a silly notion. He wasn't there to translate for her, first of all. And second, the moment she'd laid eyes on him, she recalled that she'd been deliberately trying to avoid making eye contact with him. Almost instantly, she forced herself to look back the way she'd ought to have been.

And found that the unfamiliar boy was suddenly WAY closer than he had been a second ago. As in, in her face, turned her head to find his lips pressing against hers, closer. Eyes widened in surprise as the reality of the game set in. Only moments ago, she'd been prepared to kiss one of the girls. But she'd worked herself up to it. And somehow, that seemed a great deal less nerve-wracking than... this. Was he even pureblood? What would Hanzo think if he saw this? Oh goodness, what would her parents think?! Or NICHE?? Had she ruined her prospects?? Would he never want to kiss her now that she'd been kissed by someone else?

Caught up in her head as she was, she offered no resistance against the action. And, after all, she had signed up for the game. Sure, she could feign ignorance of the rules, claim a language barrier and misunderstanding, but that would be a lie. She'd made sure to have someone explain it well to her. She'd known what she was getting into. And why shouldn't she? Wasn't it the case that boys liked experience? Wouldn't she only help her prospects if she had a little practice? Granted, she didn't think her first kiss would be this necessarily... but was it really so bad? The boy's—this Ethen's—lips were soft. He was gentle in an assertive sort of way. Wasn't that what was desirable?

A little bit into the kiss, Ethen would find Greta leaning into it, her head turning just a bit so that their noses didn't press completely into each other in the effort. No, she hadn't the faintest idea what she was doing, and that would be more than evident. To him. To the rest. But she puckered her lips and closed her eyes and did her best to try to emulate the chaste kisses she'd seen her parents administer to each other on countless occasions, cheeks flushing prettily in the process.
Being kissed by Ethen. And kissing him back.

Haley's smirk spread at Atlas' reaction, I like that girl, she thought to herself, already suspecting it wouldn't be so bad to kiss her. Haley let Atlas bring her face to her lips while her green eyes bounced back and forth between her blue eyes. Until their lips met and Haley closed her eyes out of reflex. Her jaw relaxed and the tension in the rest of her body eased and only at that moment did she realise that until just now all the muscles in her body had been under tension.

Haley's soft pouty lips met Atlas' and they complemented each other perfectly. Haley couldn't lie, it was a good kiss and she had somehow found her liking in it. After they broke away again, Haley gave her a quick wink before returning a curtsy. "It was my pleasure." She said before turning and taking a seat back on her beanbag with a smile on her lips.

As Haley sat down, she chewed her lips carefully and reviewed the kiss for a moment. Even though she had initially wished she hadn't done it with someone she didn't know, she now found it all the better that it had turned out that way. Luckily for her, Anja had rejected her first kiss and Haley had found a good partner in the second round.

While the redhead sat down and thought about it, she hadn't caught Atlas spinning the bottle and who it landed on until she heard her words. Haley quickly looked up and saw Atlas standing in front of Simon and Haley couldn't help but start laughing. It was like something out of a bad movie, but Haley found it more than amusing. "I'll wait for you here then, after you realise I'm the better kisser." Haley called out to Atlas and continued to laugh. She gave Simon a smile too, the jealousy from the first round had faded and Haley was just waiting for Simon to stand up and give the girl a kiss.
