Reason for Reapplication:
Changing surname to: McCoire - Meyra McCoire (supposedly Meyra Lancaster-McCoire, but to make it easier to tag I prefer to have just Meyra McCoire on her profile.)
The IC reasons are explained in her background story: "So Harumi was left alone with a newborn girl, whom she named Meyra Mochizuki, leaving the name and identity of the girl's father a secret. Partly, the reason for this, was out of spite, as Harumi felt abandoned despite all the possible reasons for Moray's decision to keep his distance. But the main reason was because Harumi wanted to keep her daughter protected and away from harm."
Now that Meyra has discovered who her father is, and after being transformed into a werewolf, despite all efforts to keep her identity a secret and protect her from those who sought revenge against him, it no longer makes sense to keep the paternal side of the family hidden.

- The idea is that it is not her choice, but more like a natural thing to happen since her identity no longer needs to be protected and her father would want her daughter to have his name. So it would be a legal thing. She would keep both surnames, Lancaster-McCoire. I only asked to change on the profile card for Meyra McCoire because personally I feel it's easier to tag, I don't like long names.
Also, the part you quoted from Mey's ency it's how she felt at the beginning, before and when she came to Hogwarts. Other things have happened since then. She indeed loves Rodney as her father and Moray is still someone she is still getting to know, along side that part of her family. The name change is not one that comes from sentiments on her part. It was always meant to be her name and it wasn't because she needed the extra protection of having her father's side of the family hidden. Now that it no longer needs to be that way, her father would want her to have his name and her mother wouldn't want to have that fight. For Moray is a healing course, for Meyra is the finding of her own story but doesn't change the way she feels about any of the other people around her, for her mother was something she was expecting to happen and even if she didn't like it very much she would accept it in order to not create conflicts around Mey , more than already are. Rodney is a grown up man and he also knew the reality of things, his relationship with Meyra wouldn't change because of a name change.

So that being said, Millie still part of her name (nickname for whose close to her only) although maybe I won't use it more frequently as before.

3. Lineal Succession, which describes how the family resorted to a Settlement in 1678 that allows female heirs to inherit the title, in order to keep the succession within the main line.
4. Family business: The acquisition, appraisal and sale of rare and antique objects
5. Money Troubles: The thinning family line, mishandling of funds, and amounting loans. This is expressed subtly in Alaric's father's Last Will and Testament (Outstanding Obligations), which also shows the remaining wealth of the family in the form of a few real estate and holdings that the family can't sell.

updated backstory to include more details on the family, paternal grandparents were never rped about really so i placed them in Scotland at the great grandparents house.
also need to add in the addition of Leo's brother Max so i can do the rp, he was an auror trainee and while out working they encountered dark wizards, he was alone at some point and was attacked and killed before anyone could go to him or do anything (although there was nothing they could do) so adding this into Leo's backstory as the brother will be passed away as of August 2026
Also one last one is that between Dec 2026 and Feb 2027 sometime is when Leo's uncle will be forced out of the company by the family and other higher ups in the company after finding out he was making shady deals and bad business moves so Leo's father will then be leaving his Auror position to be full time taking over the Nox Imports company (which will eventually lead to Leo basically being the heir to the company as well)
