After making so much progress in trying to make a friend, Casey was secretly disappointed that the weather was trying to rain on their good times together (pun may or may not be intended!). That was the one thing that Casey often got miffed at Ilvermorny for; when it wasn't fog that tried to consume his limbs through it's dense onslaught of cloud, then it was the rain that would proceed it on particularly bad days. It made the mountain a flooded marsh, one that would soak Casey's trousers, caking them in muck while his shins were drowning in the overwatered grasslands and hills.

The oncoming weather only gave another ten minutes of time for Casey to shoe-horn the last of their conversation before they would have to vacate inside, unless they wished to catch a chill from the rolling clouds overhead.

He laughed at Kaya's remark. "Honestly, same. Mom once showed us a picture of a motorbike years ago. I think it was called a Harold... No wait, that's not right... A Hayward? Harley! That was it... It was so cool lookin'. My brother's all into motorbikes. A bike that runs on an engine but still looks sweet as hell. He once said he'd want to get one when he's old enough but I can just imagine the right loonies we would be, gushing over it like we rediscovered the dodo, let alone learn how to ride the frickin' thing."

And that was just over a motorbike. Lord knows what he and Nick would look like going around a Muggle town and touching everything electrical all willy-nilly. Thankfully Casey had been exposed to the odd cooker once or twice in his lifetime after a Muggle world holiday or two, but his folks thought it best they would stay away from department stores and Park N' Rides until they could interact with them without looking like alien goofballs.

Kaya dive into her Pureblood expectations really solidified how much more he knew about No-Maj folks than he actually realised. He pitied Purebloods. They ought to welcome a little Muggle-ness into their lives. They'd be surprised how innocent and resourceful they were. Already a name that matched the description came to Casey's mind. He quirked a smile when her face popped up in his head.

Then the sky got darker. Ah, so it was going to rain. Typical. Casey nodded at Kaya's suggestion, but more so out of genuine intrigue for their talk rather than not wanting to get cold, potentially drenched on or both. Kaya was pretty chill to talk with. He'd be mad to pass the opportunity the next time it came around.

"Yeah, sounds good to me. I feel like I learnt a lot from you," he smiled sincerely. He began to slowly shift away in the direction towards the main building.

"I'll see you around, gal".
