@Cursa McCoire
"Goddamn..." Casey was a fool to think he would have a day where chaos wasn't erupting when Hogwarts was in the mix. Last year it was the bonk to the head and the explosions in Hogsmeade en route to Hogwarts. This year however, the familiar stench of smoke decided to make a comeback, all within Hogwarts's 'safe' walls.
He was relieved that Colin was okay, despite looking like he was mauled by a tree along his flanks and the burns on his arm. Not that the moment of respite and recovery lasted long. Casey found himself standing in a very familiar position once the Garden itself began to burn into nothing. He was frozen as he tried to process everything before he fell into a foul mood.
Hogsmeade all frickin' over again.
He saw that Colin and Emily were quick to react to the fast-spreading fires, spells flying out to try and tame the flames. He saw several other guests just... Standing around.
"Oi! All of ya!" he called out to everyone. "Unless you all wanna turn into crispy chicken wings, either help put the fires out or get outta here while ya can!"
He gestured to a clearing that hadn't been swallowed by the fires yet. Whether people complied would be up to them.
Casey grumbled. " Come back to Hogwarts, they said... Enjoy the Spring Ball, they said...!"

Hikari released his hold on Akari as some people put out the fire on the boy, ignoring the spark of hurt which flaired in his chest. Akari had never spoken to him like that before, sharp, irritated. It left a bitter taste.
I'm getting too sensitive about him.
"The drink was spiked." He said flatly, "You should be careful." The boy in question seemed vaguely disoriented, muttering incoherently in a mix of Japanese and English, most of which Hikari could barely catch.
He seemed to still be feeling the effects of the drink, and Hikari vaguely heard him say something about "Fiery Vengeance", which caused the unease to coil tighter around his chest. That did not sound very Akari, even under normal circumstances. The energy in the air had changed, it didn't feel awkward as it had before, it felt like everyone was holding their breaths, waiting for something to drop.
As he turned to ask Akari if he was feeling any different, although with him, it was always hard to tell, when a flicker of motion out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. Some students had clustered a little distance away, and were ripping up their dance cards to shreads. The action seemed almost nervous, violent.
Hikari frowned, what is that about? What's going on?
He glanced back to look at his own card, the piece of paper falling flimsily out of his hand as he took in the words on it, menacing, dangerous.
You all played the role as the forbidden apple, failing to conform to mere requests.
Witness the consequence of of The Fall.
The words stared up at him, and for a few seconds, Hikari stared back, unable to breath.
He smelled it before he saw it. Smoke. Not faint, not distant. Somewhere close. It clung to the air like a warning, filling up his lungs painfully.
Flames erupted nearby, angry and uncontrolled, a surge of orange and red licking up the flowers and tapestry. He stared for a second, mouth open in horror, even as his hands seemed to move on their own, and his wand was suddenly in his hand, "Extinguo!" He snapped, pointing at the nearest surface which was on fire.
It hissed, shrank, and other flames rushed to take their place.
"Akari!" Hikari's voice rang out desperately, searching for his friend's hand in the mess that ensued shortly after. Sometime, the two had gotten separated. I hope nothing happens to him.

The Garden of Eden
~ ✩✩✩ ~ ✩✩✩ ~ ✩✩✩ ~ ✩✩✩ ~Garden of Eden, Hogwarts GroundsIC Date: Evening, April 11, 2025Japanese - English - ThoughtsInteractions openXXXAkari barely noticed when Hikari let go of him, too preoccupied in his own thoughts to realize the words he had said. He thought he heard a mutter of advice, but didn't quite catch it. Out of nowhere, he heard "Flipendo!"
XXXAkari looked around for the perpetrator, his senses quickly spiking as he jumped aside instinctively. The spell hit the ground harmlessly. "What was that?" He asked, as if the sudden sense of danger had jolted him out of a stupor. Wait a minute. Where did Hikari go?
XXXThen, all at once, it happened: the flowers burst into flames. Tongues of orange and red reached up to the darkening evening sky. All around him, students were shouting, trying to cast spells to put it out. Akari had a lot of experience with fire, but not to this extent. Not where it roared, unrestrained and hungry. The dance card was discarded without a second thought in favor of drawing his wand as well. Oh, if only he knew more useful spells...!
XXX"Extinguo!" He recited as well. Akari didn't know where to aim. Everything was a target requiring attention, and there were only so many people in the garden.
XXXHis ears caught onto a faint call among the chaos. It could have been Hikari, looking for him, or it could be something else entirely, not meant for him at all. The greatest danger he could think of was the flames spreading across the grounds. The month of April was quite dry in these areas, and dry grass was extremely flammable. He could already imagine the fire in the garden extinguishing, put out over and over as it lost fuel, only to find the grasses of the grounds and racing across the entire field.
XXXAkari tugged off his outer layer of robes, folding them up quickly and bundling them under his arm before beginning to search for Hikari. He didn't feel like getting set on fire today. Where did he go?! He couldn't even remember when they had gotten separated in the first place-- it had all happened so suddenly.
XXXAs Akari tried to think back, he remembered standing over the burning shirt, and the-- he winced. Oh. Oh, no. Hikari, I am so sorry! Regret flooded him as he recalled what he had said to his friend. What did Hikari say? The drinks were spiked?? That didn't sound safe at all. What kind of security was that? And the fire, too!
XXXFor a moment, Akari thought he could glimpse his friend's emerald green robes through the billowing smoke and chaos. He rushed towards it, making sure to stamp out some of the smolders and cast more extinguishing charms on what he could. He was very thankful he had not worn his contact lenses for this-- the smoke and ash would probably contaminate and get clogged up on the surface, both obscuring his vision and causing his eyes to sting. Akari wondered if the inhabitants of the castle and the attendees of the Spring Soiree could see the commotion. Surely they do. It's fire!
XXX"Fujimoto-kun!" he shouted, finally catching a clearer sight of the other boy. "Are you alright??" he asked, giving an automatic hug and squeezing tightly. He was so, so relieved that his friend hadn't suffocated or something. Akari was thankful for the older years that knew many more spells than he did, some of them casting more relevant spells like ones that summoned water. The smell of the burning hedges was acrid, invading the air and up his nose. He grimaced, coughing slightly. Away from Hikari, of course. He would be fine, probably. For a moment, Akari wondered if the glass of the drink glasses on the tables would explode from heat. They seriously didn't need glass shards in the mix. As for the drinks themselves, they could evaporate and sink into the ground for all he cared.
Action: Snapping out of the drink's effects, casting Extinguo, searching for @Hikari Fujimoto

Hikari couldn't breathe.
He wasn't sure if it was the acrid smoke which curled seemed to surround him from every direction or the fact that Akari was nowhere in sight. Panic clawed his chest like a living thing. Every breath burned into his ribs, and his heartbeat thundered like a warning drum.
Flames danced across the once-beautiful courtyard, engulfing everything in layers of red and gold, up the sides of tables, decorations, cloth. People were screaming, but Hikari barely registered any of it, too focused for that one voice, that one presence.
He scanned the burning grounds, moving mechanically, weaving through the throngs of people running haywire.
Don't think about what could happen. Don't think about him catching flames. Don't-
"Fujimoto-kun!"
The voice ran out clearly, cutting through the haze like a ray of sunshine. He turned in time to feel an arm wrap his shoulders, solid and grounding. And suddenly, he was right there.
Akari.
Relief hit him like a shockwave and nearly swept his legs from under him. "I'm fine." He responded, coughing a little and covering his mouth in an attempt to keep the smoke at large, "Are you feeling better?" He squinted up at him, trying to read his face in the flickering lights. If Hikari was to guess, he'd say the effects of the drink had worn off, since the familiar glint had returned to Akari's eyes, although it was a bit overshadowed by the worry written across his face.
"We should get out of here." He said, finally able to breathe. His fingers closed around Akari's wrist and he began tugging him along as a wave of panicked students the two boys along and away from the fire.
This time, Hikari would not let go.

Date: 11th April 2025Like so many things in his life perfection was merely a guise before destruction reared its head. This years spring ball would offer no difference. But for a moment, before flower became fire and the atmosphere shifted from calm to chaos, Matthew felt just a tiny bit better. A boy so used to things going wrong took comfort in the fact that something finally had gone right. And as such the reluctant optimist would fall once more, convinced of the curse he personified of himself.
It all started so perfectly. The lingering of hands touching one another before he was whipped away onto the dance floor with the feigning of confidence from a new friend. Isadora looked enchanting in her outfit, like a flower blooming in the harshest of soils, and although there were nerves between them, those small introverted qualities seemed to dull slightly in her presence. People always said that Matthew had a calming influence but so rarely did it soothe himself, yet, in Isadora's presence he felt seen and understood.
Replying to her soft words he couldn't help but giggle, a light un-teasing thing that brought his smile into a coy but sweet expression and rouged his cheeks. Remembering back to all the primary school ceilidh's he attended Matthew found himself emboldened and drawing on those memories he directed Isa's hands to the correct positioning and began to dance saying, "Don't worry, these boots have faced worse than some stamped toes. Plus the trick to good dancing is to not care who's watching!". Moving her through an improvised version of a traditional Scottish dance he found himself laughing more heartily than he had in a while. It was a boyish laugh that he had found little use for recently and as such he greeted it like an old friend.
Eventually after stumbling more than a few times Matthew paused for a second and looking at the crown of flowers around her head he raised his wand and whispered silently into the night, "Orchideous" Suddenly the flower crown sprouted a fresh set of wildflowers of all different variations matching her outfit. Then pulling back he met the girls wild crystal eyes and staring into them with his own he spoke happily, more happily than he had been in a while, "I'm really glad I met you Isa..." Without a moment of hesitation to continue or breath the golden flecks in his eyes suddenly flashed wildly illuminated by the surge behind her.
With frenzied speed Matthew threw his arms around Isadora and pulled her away from the raging fire that had ravaged behind them. Yelling towards her as he pushed her further from the raging heat his eyes were desperate and sweat began to form thickly under his extremely flammable hat "RUN Isa, quickly!" In a moment of panic Matthew's adrenaline had made a crucial decision. If it was to be between him or her, he would choose her. A friend who saw him for more than he was and believed truly that the person he was inside deserved better. A friend who couldn't see the same for herself.
Maybe a small part of him also thought of it as penance; that if he could save her then maybe, just maybe he could prove that he didn't always cause suffering. That not every person of whom he got close to would face repercussions. And maybe if he saved her he would still have someone, anyone who thought of him as not some sob story or pity case, but as a hero. Maybe it would just be someone to see him at all.

Everything seemed to be going perfectly for Isadora. Just in the presence of Matthew seemed to be calming. As if all of the girl's worries were gone. Not a care in the world. As if peace was a rare thing for the cursed girl she enjoyed the moment.
With the teasing tone from Matthew with the occasional of them stepping on each other's toes. Isadora could not help but laugh softly. It was strange that the girl was fairly comfortable with the boy. Something that was new for the girl but she did not contemplate it or question it at all. No, the girl just focused on the moment at hand, a memory that seemed as if in the darkness that consumed the girl had a little bit of light.
After a bit more stumbling and a few laughs. Isadora gazed at Matthew as he pulled out his wand pointing up at her slowly crushed and wilted flower crown. As words quietly left his mouth, the girl could smell the fresh array of flowers bloom, a sweet smell familiar to the girl's nose.
Golden fleck eyes met Isadora’s ocean blue eyes. As if time seemed to slow as if the other occupants of the ball did not seem to exist. Words seemed to leave Matthew’s mouths. Words that made Isadora’s heart skip.
Someone actually was happy to have met her. Though she could not disagree she was grateful to have met this boy. He seemed to understand her as if they both had their own demons the other did not know about, but she did not mind nor did she question it. No she did not care about what darkness laid in front of her. Because together the duo brought out the light in each other a light that seemed blinding.
Before Isadora could respond to Matthew the girl could see his golden fleck eyes widen. Then the smell hit the girl, the smell of fire and smoke.
Isadora felt her heart race quickly. As her hand shot into her satchel that was neatly rested against her, yanking her wand out quickly, not caring about the other items in the satchel.
Hearing Matthew yelling for the girl to run while protecting her. She gritted her teeth. It was bad enough she could not protect her family back at Hogsmeade; she was powerless and yet she was not going to allow that to happen again. No she did not wish to allow anything to happen to Matthew or herself.
The young girl scanned the area, noticing others trying to put out spells using what they could. Isadora stood near Matthew using her free hand to hold his in a reassuring protective way as she held her wand out. Taking a calm breath before calmly speaking.
“Extinguo.”
Isadora spoke properly, her voice was calm, her crystal blue eyes watched the oncoming flames carefully. Her only concern was Matthew’s safety and those at the ball. As if a lion's courage embraced Isadora she felt a strange sense of courage and determination to at least attempt to protect herself and the boy beside her from the hungry flames.
After all, what happened at Hogsmeade will not repeat itself, not again, not hear, not when those around her could be in danger. No if needed she’ll do what is needed to protect those. Matthew, Devon, even that weird red haired boy. Isadora felt determined to make sure those people would be safe. Must be the Toussaint blood that runs through her veins, the determination and the will to fight even if it could cause consequences at the end but she did not care no. Isadora had to protect those around her. Prove her worth.
The normally timid girl seemed to show resolve to try her best to prove her worth. After all she was her Mother’s daughter, a stubborn girl when needed and she refused to allow anything to happen to those who were innocent. That was a silent vow Isadora made to herself.![]()

The Garden of Eden

11 April - the evening of the Spring Soirée
he looked to Emily with a wan smile and shrugged her shoulders when she asked, reasonably enough, “Why would anyone want to do that?” Sadly, AngelFyre could immediately think of two reasons a girl may wish to set Colin on fire: hagslugs or Darkest Night potion. Did not mean AngelFyre condoned the girl’s action at all, or that either of her suppositions were correct, but not knowing whether Emily was aware of the whole Colin/hagslug incident or not, she was not about to speak that aloud. That was Colin’s business to tell… not hers.
What AngelFyre did know without a doubt was that Colin had a good, noble heart beneath a frenzied exterior, but there was no telling how many people he might have rubbed the wrong way while he had been under the influence of one or the other, or even worse, during the time he was afflicted by both simultaneously. But all she needed right now was for her friend to get a bead on the girl. It might help to stave off whatever else might be coming their way if he could shed any light on the matter.
And of course, there was also the possibility that whatever prompted the girl to cast had to little to nothing to do with Colin personally. For all of the weirdness that tended to shroud Hogwarts' balls, it was also entirely possible the girl was not even aware that she had cast upon him.
Regardless of the girl's motivations, AngelFyre could not believe her ears when Colin responded with a good deal of incredulity in his voice when he stated, “… of course I know her, Fyre! She's Emmi!! AngelFyre loved that her friend was in love, but she wanted to scream at him right then. Luckily she had backup, and it came from cousin Cursa. Thank goodness one of the McCoire clan was paying attention here. After confirming to Colin that he had seen the unknown girl cast the flames, too, AngelFyre shot him a quick nod of acknowledgement and thanks, along with a grateful smile. She was about to physically, but gently, turn Colin’s head away from his best girl so he could fix his gaze upon his would be executioner, but Cursa took a more direct route and cuffed Colin on the back of his head. That dislodged something, somewhere along the line, because her words finally broke through the bottleneck of besottedness his love struck thoughts were having to navigate due to Emily’s very presence. Once he turned to look at the girl, who was not Emily, a chilling, almost predatory snarl crossed his face.
It was an answer. Of a sort.
It was still not clear if he knew her or not, or if his response was just due to being ticked that an upstart would dare to cast on him out of the blue like that. Unfortunately, a clearer answer would not be forthcoming in the moment as the Garden suddenly erupted into the inferno she had seen in her vision just minutes before.
Voices all around her were casting left and right. Simon’s was the first she heard, as he invoked the magic of “Aqua Eructo” against the flames. It was no surprise to her with his incredible dhampir reflexes that he was on the situation immediately, but she was so proud of him nontheless. She heard other younger students casting “Extinguo” around the garden. Excellent. Every ounce of help and water could only work to the good. Colin jumped in immediately with the same pressurized water spell Simon had cast, focusing his stream in a different area. He had coaxed Emily to cast anything... snow… rain... just something. And AngelFyre was delighted when she heard her little sis cast Metelojinx”. Perfect, she thought, and then she raised Godshall, casting “Caelum Muto”, hoping to amplify the effects of Emily’s rain.
She was now unaware of the inscription change on the dance cards. There were more pressing matters at hand, but the heavy feelings were not dissipating. They were, however, changing. Anger and betrayal had twisted into a macabre sense of vindication… as if those in attendance at the Ball, enoying themselves as they saw fit to do so in ways most pleasing to them, somehow deserved to be turned into charcoal briquettes.
She heard Cursa’s friend, Casey she thought his name was, the boy with the American accent, yelling at the oblivious to get out of here, pointing them to a path of safety.
Through their binding mark, because she knew Simon would be able to hear clearly in his mind, even over the roar of the fire, she spilled her immediate thoughts. “How long do you think we can hold the lines, love?” She was desperately trying to not think about the fact that the pressure waves of blast furnace heat were becoming uncomfortably noticeable, but they were. “There is little I hate more than burning,” she said to him off-handedly, and she scanned the area, looking specifically for the girl who had cast on Colin.

| xxxxxxx | His most immediate reaction was to nod along as she succinctly detailed her endeavors. The meeting of a friend... and that was it. Either her time was truly that bland, or she wasn't a person of many words. Regardless of the truth, he began mentally preparing himself to carry the brunt of the conversation, thankfully just in time for her to supply him with a question. "Oh, my time during and after Beauxbâtons was"—flashes of blue hair, and whispers in dark hallways flooded his psyche—"...mainly uneventful. I sadly ended up returning to my usual routine. Nothing to write home about, unless you are interested in how Quidditch works at other schools?" He was lying and she didn't seem like the type to care, but it was still worth a shot. He was, after all, still navigating this social landscape, trying to understand exactly where she would bite and where she would bark. For the time being, though, she wasn't even gracing him with eye contact. He momentarily wondered if there was something else occurring around them, and allowed his own gaze to scour the garden. "By the way, why were you alone? Could you not find someone to ask to the ball?" ... There was nothing of great importance he could see, and she was beginning to speak weirdly. Slowed. Slurred. It caused Jamie to blink in confusion before he took another sip from his glass, shifting his focus back onto the dark-haired girl. But when he blinked again, something was wrong. She was blurry. Everything was blurry. "No, the... the, uh," he, for once, spoke without his usually feigned certainty, his tongue struggling to conform to his demands, "The main ball... was too... noise everywhere. Much. I was getting sick—I mean, tired. Too tired. You couldn't find someone?" What was happening? He could barely even coordinate himself; the glass in his hand missed his mouth each time it was brought close. Again, and again, until it outright fell from his grasp, shattering against the solid ground. The drink seemed to just barely stain the edge of his white pants leg, but he was too disoriented to care. Then, he could see the figure of his companion fade away, growing smaller with every passing second. At that moment, some level of annoyance found its home within him, and he defiantly tried to follow, muttering a frustrated "hang on" as his feet carried him. She didn't even answer his question. He didn't even properly remember her name. Their conversation wasn't done. And that was when he heard a shout of something and a flash of something with her wand raised, but the gravity of the situation didn't hit. Not until the strange girl got blindfolded and the area reeked of smoke. Why was there smoke? Adrenaline kicked in just as the blurriness of his vision corrected itself, and his senses picked up everything all at once. Flames—heat—threatening to lick at everyone's heels, and Jamie swore that normally, his sister would have come in before things reached this point. To warn him, and yet he was left completely in the dark. He could sense the incoming, bubbling fear of disappointing her, of doing something wrong. It threatened to drown and overtake, but he quickly channeled that fear into action. With his mind cleared, he could at least understand it's what she would have done. Quickly, the young wizard tried ripping the blindfold off his nearby companion, still oblivious to the part she played in this disaster. "Hey! We need to go, now!" he exclaimed, voice dripping with urgency. He would then attempt to grab her arm, a gentle kind of force rather than pure aggression, and pull her with him towards the garden entrance. It was the quickest exit he could think of, and as he noticed many others pulling out spells to extinguish the fire, figured this was the most effective route to settle on.

In a matter of moments, the events which had transcribed as the consequence of her own actions, unfolded right before her very eyes. Perplexed and half under the influence of whatever was in that drink, Meiyu merely blinked as she paused to process the scene she had been the sole cause for. It had been enough to reduce most of the foreign liquid pulsing through her bloodstream, causing her to act irrational, further aided by the return on the barbaric voice which had taken it's reigns once more. Soon, the once adorned Garden transformed into a scene only reminiscent to the tales she read outlining the deepest pits of hell, a place where most vermin belonged, including herself.
Within a moment, her vision became obstructed, succumbing to the fate of a spell she had partially heard on and witnessed in official duelling matches, along with the practice sessions Meiyu had vigorously attended. The sheer anger which only continued brewing within her, upon the careless and pathetic act of blindfolding her, bothered her once more, so, for the second time, she aimed her wand, no longer caring for whoever would reap the consequence, and carefully enunciated, "Incendio", once more.
Yet, amidst the chaos, her senses only heightened, forcing her hearing and sense of smell to warn her of her surroundings. Most called out spells to cease the fire, whilst she only aided the fuel, frustrated that someone, would resort to such tactics amidst her torment to the boy from Tenusa, a figure she'd grown to miss, solely for the purpose of bothering the boy with the big nose. She couldn't help but stand still and laugh, almost manically, at the scene which had been concealed for her very eyes. The ever-growing chants of spells thrown around, as though to convince others of their good nature, was truly comical, for what would the students of Hogwarts know about saving the world. For one, most concerned themselves with occupying the garden as a means of a lovers escape, such activities infuriating Meiyu, given her lack of desired partner for the evening, despite Jamie serving as an adequate fill-in. Although, the longer her eyes previously remained observing her surroundings, it dawned upon her that there were many secrets remaining untold, careless whispers she heard in moments she portrayed herself as a passerby, begged to differ the question she had grown infatuated with over the recent months; the morality and duality of humans and like-minded creatures.
The consequence of the barbaric voice had only advocated her search for answers, aiding her outburst within the garden, being nothing more than a chaos seeker for the satisfaction of her own amusement. Still, the thought dwelled upon her as she remained fixated in her position, the smoke fumes only aiding the hallucinatory state she had fallen under, instinctively coughing as her lungs refused to digest flower fumes — which oddly, had a nice smell.
Meiyu's obsession and adoration for the select few she latched herself onto, were those she deemed to be worthy enough of sacrifice, Evpraksiya, being the highest in the rank she had created in her twisted mind. Cirrus? The poor soul was off somewhere awaiting for his highness to arrive, appearing nothing more than a forgotten knight, abandoned in a wretched castle. Without a question of a doubt, she'd save him. Their common denominators was sufficient enough to warrant such motion. Jamie? A new nose would suffice. Though, in truth, it had slowly become an attribution of his she enjoyed poking fun at, wondering whether her comments would remain horrid enough it would scar him for life, an impact she desired to leave on those who had the misfortune of coming across her path.
Basking in the havoc and engrossed in her own thoughts, Meiyu was almost startled by the light pull of her arm, her body following immediately as the familiar voice lulled the torment of her breaking mind. "Jamie?" Meiyu spoke quickly, her palms reaching out to feel the arm which dragged her away, fortunately freeing her vision moments ago, enabling her to finally witness the demise she had solely caused. Using a light force, she pulled back once they reached the entrance, pulling the boy back before turning to gaze at the beautiful scene before the two, one almost equal to a true romantic getaway. "Beautiful, isn't it?" She mumbled, her vocal tone low and almost deafening should the latter not pay attention. Eyes widened as she watched the scene unfold with the blaze engulfing most of the garden, Meiyu's lips curved into what was for once, a genuine smile.

The Garden of Eden
MODERATION POST — ROUND 8.
Image generated by AI.
Moments was all it took for the esteemed escape from reality to transfigure itself into what could only be depicted as a wrath of fury. Now fully ablaze, the Garden of Eden, had morphed into that of a nightmare. The orange hues and heat emitting from the growing flames, which spread instantaneously, had only worsened the visibility for our dearest patrons, lessening the likelihood for spell success for the mass spells which began to spring way. Though, the bravery and wit of all patrons who chose to aid, is highly commended, most spells succeeding in their endeavours to lessen the flame, bouts of water making its way from a select few and a cloud beginning to form in the sky, indicating a disperse of rain soon under-weigh.
Yet, the fruits of our patrons, mostly, went under noticed. The intensity of the fire which sprung into action upon carelessness by a mere first year, @Meiyu Xiang, under the influence, trashed against anything flammable, moving closer to certain patrons as though directly targeting them. One patron, @Matthew Campbell, will soon find his hat enamoured by flames, latching onto anything on the boy that would aid the spread, his condition being the worst amongst others.
As @Casey Stone assists in evacuating the premises, their act of bravery only results in burns, finding themselves another victim of the horrid attack, at the consequence of an act of selflessness. Whilst in the frontlines, @AngelFyre McCubbin, @Hikari Fujimoto, @Colin McCoire and @Cursa McCoire, all reap what they would reap what they would have never sow upon their arrival to the garden, the thick smoke in the air causing difficulties for all patrons within the garden, yet particularly negatively impacting those four who stood on the frontlines, doing damage control.
Though, our beloved patrons succeed in lessening the fire, the spread was too quick and they were far too young to maintain such power to prevent it all. With each successful spell cast, the fire momentarily dimmed, only to grow once more, ready to engulf the entire Garden of Eden, after all, there was a reason mankind had been expelled for disobeying commands. Our dear patrons would only suffer the same fate, repeating history, should our patrons believe in such, once more.
“Remember everything is right until it's wrong. You'll know when it's wrong.”
― Ernest Hemingway, The Garden of Eden.

@Matthew Campbell, @AngelFyre McCubbin, @Hikari Fujimoto, @Colin McCoire, @Casey Stone and @Cursa McCoire all receive medium burns following their actions due to the scale of the fire. This is also due to these players opting to stay and either help reduce the fire, shielded another, or evacuated others.
Players with burns are presented with further RP opportunity to seek aid in the Hospital Wing for their injuries and have creative control as to how they wish to portray this both in the Garden of Eden and overall for the future of their character. Please note, the size of the burn is medium, and would be painful, the rest of the details are for you as the writer to seize.
This posts conclude the moderation of the Garden of Eden.
Please let me know if anything has been missed.
MOD NOTE:
This is the final moderation for the Spring Soirée Ball. If you wish, you may continue to post here, however I will not be making any rolls for you, nor should you expect me to. Should you have any questions regarding performing your own rolls for any moderated actions you wish to take, feel free to contact me via owl or dm.
I would like to thank each of you for your participation in this event that the Spring Ball Group worked tirelessly to prepare and I hope you have all had an enjoyable experience threading in each respective area, whether it was the main Spring Soirée, the Twisted Taverns and of course, the aflame Garden of Eden.
The fruition of this project is highly accredited to the wonderful peers whom I've had the pleasure to work alongside, consisting of @Alyss Gilmour, @Aston Beckett and @Lyanna Oak. It's been a true blessing to work with you all to bring our vision to life and I've had a wonderful time in the process, thank you all.
Dance Cards

Image generated by AI.
Upon entrance into The Garden of Eden, each player will receive a "dance card", a RP opportunity for players to engage with. Within the dance card, names of whom your character dances with must be recorded, beware of prying eyes should their names not be found within the dance card and they are dancing with your player, as this would be the most scandalous thing to do.
NOTE: The inclusion of dance cards is solely for a RP opportunity, you are not obliged to comply with this, but should you mention it, please ensure the character your character dances with, was included in the dance card.
