Nikita raised her eyebrows. "Darling?" She said, with a smile on her lips. She nodded when he said he was fine, and tilted her head. "Honestly. Maybe I was blending in with the.. wonderful theme of this ball?" By that she meant the dark, but she didn;t feel like explaining, her face flushed red. She shut up.
She felt better next to Levi, been if they weren't actually together. The whole thing didn;t exactly scream safety! It was more certain death. She looked at a boy walking over, and didn't mind until he kept coming. She could feel Levi tense up as he stood in front of her, but she stretched her neck looking over his shoulder at the boy. "Who the hell-" She raised her eyebrows.
Oh, okay.
Nikita nearly laughed. "That's a no, you ass" She grabbed the boy's arms
If she succeded in pulling him away: She would glare at him. "I don't know you, but I already hate your face." She gritted her teeth as she curled her fist and swung. (You decide if she hits)
If she can't pull him away: She'll kick him and then swing.
Whoever this boy was, she could tell Levi and him weren't buddies.

Rudolf Novikov had many concerns as he approached the entrance to the Blossom Ball, the receiving area dubbed "The Underworld". None of them were the right ones. Having never been to Hogwarts before, he was unaware of the dangers that usually came with dances and events, and had no reason to believe that anything would — or could — go wrong. Wasn't this supposed to be one of the safest places in the world, after all? Without the experiences that the Hogwarts students had suffered through in years past, how could he know to be worried for his own safety?
No, Dolf's troubles were far less drastic, but troubles nevertheless. A good portion of them revolved around his outfit. Costume? That was one of them right there: what the boy was currently wearing felt too silly to be called an "outfit", but not elaborate enough to warrant the name "costume". When the Durmstrang students had been informed of the theme, he'd had to do some research to make sure that he would fit in. He had to fit in. This was crucially important. Dolf believed in a world of rules, expectations, and order. These things made him comfortable. They certainly made sense. And a theme, that was practically a rule, wasn't it? Dictating how to dress for the evening. He wasn't completely delusional — he knew that no one would really care about what he wore — but it was still important to him, and so he searched for as much information on Ancient Greek fashion as he could find in Durmstrang's library and in letters sent frantically to home.
All that preparation, and here he was still feeling unsure on the night of the big event. Dolf wore a purple polo shirt and white dress pants, a pair of patterned sandals and a gold crown designed to look like a wreath of laurels. Every part of the outfit had a reason behind it. The shirt was a very specific shade of purple called Tyrian — he'd learned that the Ancient Greeks had invented it. Or...at least produced it. They were known for it somehow, so it counted. The pants had looked nice with the shirt, and they reminded him of the Mediterranean. He'd been once with his mother, although that was years ago. The sandals had the same Mediterranean feel, and the square, spirally pattern on them made him think of the pillars of Greece. And finally, the crown. Dolf had hesitated to put it on because it made him feel stupid, but in the end he'd changed his mind. There wasn't much more Ancient Greek than a crown of laurels.
Plus, looking around at some of the partygoers as he made his way through the Underworld, Dolf realized that he didn't need to worry about looking silly. As intent as he was on following the theme, he'd been wary of his dignity the whole time. That wasn't the case for a few of these other students. Some of the boys in particular may as well have been wearing sheets. They looked Greek, that was for sure, but at what cost? Dolf would not have taken it quite so far. At one point, his eyes caught a boy dressed up like a goat, and he couldn't hold back a snicker. There were hooves and everything. Goddamn hooves.
нелепый. Ridiculous.
Dolf tried to calm himself down, not wanting to ruin the whole evening before it could start. He'd made it to the Ball, and no one had stopped him for any dress code violations. He was going to be fine. It was pointless to worry. There were one or two familiar faces in the crowd, but no one that Dolf really wanted to talk to, so he positioned himself by one of the punch fountains and picked up a cup. He felt a few droplets of the stuff run down his palm as he held the cup under the stream, bringing it away once it was full of dark-colored punch. What was this stuff? It had an odd smell — or maybe that was something else. Maybe it was an English drink. Maybe it was a Greek drink. Maybe it was completely normal, and he was overthinking again. Get it together, Dolf. You didn't use to be so unsure.
He shot a glare at his reflection in the punch cup before taking a sip, hovering by the end of the table and feeling his skin crawl as a cool breeze touched his bare arms. He'd move on to the Ball proper as soon as he finished his drink. He'd caught a glimpse of it on the way in: it looked brighter, more lively. It looked like the place for dancing and having fun.
Until then, he'd be here, alone in the Underworld. What a way to start a party.

People could definitely see how many times Aurora yawn during the ball. How could she not? She just stood at the same place the entire time, a fascinating thing she ever did in her whole eleven years life. There were some people with nice outfits, some only wore something that looked like from the lost and found bin, or perhaps their dormitory’s curtain, some tried to kiss the others. There was a slight relieved feeling that she basically had very little friend group and no partner, so no one tried to put their disgusting saliva on her face.
Aurora was having an inner battle with herself, fought the urge not to sleep in the middle of the blossom ball, standing. That was until she heard someone said something about not liking someone’s face. Her eyes immediately searched for the source of the commotion. Just as she thought, someone was about to do a smackdown show in the underworld. Abandoning the bridge, the short eagle tried to stop the fight from happening. The underworld supposed to be for the wallflowers, not a boxing ring. Do it somewhere else, what a disturbance to peace. Aurora still maintained a safe distance from the puncher and shouted, “HEY! WITH ALL DUE RESPECT, NO FIGHT IN THE UNDERWORLD! IF YOU WANT TO FIGHT, GO TO THE SPRING AREA!” There was a little worry of getting punched in the face by that person, whoever that was. But seriously, that girl (Nikita) will have much more fun punching someone with some tunes in the spring area.

Russian: #351664[font=big caslon]Ophé stands in the doorway of the castle, oblivious to any students brushing past, lips slightly parted in shock and shoulder pressed against the wall. They are adorned in a soft white gown with flowery trim around the collar and tall sandals laced all the way up their legs. Hair is twisted elegantly into an intricate updo, a few coils loose around their face. No makeup, but two neatly shaped eyebrows and skin scrubbed perfectly smooth; upon hearing about this ball's theme, it was immediately clear whom they would model tonight's attire after. Persephone, the goddess of springtime. This is the utter display of loveliness and poise that they are used to presenting at galas and parties.
The only difference is, tonight they are surrounded by their peers, potential friends and romantic partners. They desperately want to fall in love here, truly fall in love, not an everyday unrequited crush, but with someone that loves them back. It is a ball after all. And okay, maybe they're are only twelve, but also extremely emotionally mature, and the epitome of a romantic.
They survey the scene, taking a few tentative steps forward, hands clasped behind their back. Some of the students have gathered and are making crude jokes, yelling profanities at the top of their lungs. Ophé cringes. Their grandmother would have killed them had they engaged in such rude behavior. There are yells from various vocal chords, projected across the shadowy Courtyard; shrieks, groans, and laughter, from all the little groups that have gathered and arranged themselves. It is dark, here, and cold. Frightening. All they can do now is stand, alone and afraid, shrouded in shadow, and hope to be approached.
No! This is not the mindset one should have when hoping to make friends. Optimism is key, and this is supposed to be fun night. They have been looking forward to it for ages. Even if it does begin in the Underworld.
The first thing that occurs to Ophé is to join some sort of group, since that is the setting that they are most comfortable in, but there seems to be something... private occurring in the midst of their most obvious option, and they would hate to intrude on a romantic moment. Well, perhaps not so romantic: a tough-looking Durmstrang girl does not look pleased about the turn of events. Is she one of their dates? Then why would he kiss him right in front of her? He must be an absolutely hopeless romantic. Well, at least the girl appears to be getting stopped by another interjecting student.
Ophé tears their eyes away and shakes their head. This is ridiculous. It is none of their business.
They take a few more steps forward, hands still clasp, tilted slightly as if about to tip over. Most everyone is still hidden in darkness. This really is a gloomy place for a ball.Interacting: no one

Blossom Ball - Underworld
Arriving with Arjan Oberoi played by @Serena Towers.
Wearing a deep plum chiton and cloak and grape headpiece inspired by Dionysus.
[1]Today was the annual Blossom Ball. The days leading up to it had included a lot of internal arguing with herself, until Phaedra received a invitation from none other than Arjan Oberoi; serial flirt, forced childhood playmate, and her ex-best friend's brother. Disregarding the potential drama that could arise from those elements alone, Phaedra agreed to the outing just to see all the hullabaloo with promises to herself and him that if anything went left, she was out. Tradition be damned.
Arjan had asked her to meet near the castle doors. That was fine with her. Letting her eyes adjust from the candlelit corridors into cooler lighting, Phaedra hiked up the hem of her chiton as she descended the entryway stairs. Searching took no time at all as they met halfway, the boy's white-clad figure swaggering towards her. “Oberoi,” she greeted. They didn't exactly match—expected with their last minute arrangement—but frankly, Phaedra was relieved he'd even shown up.
A deep plum-reddish colour, her linens were simplistic and loose-fitting, although some liberties were taken in its design to appear more modern. Phaedra was most proud of the headpiece she'd crafted herself. Artificial leaves met what resembled red grapes, but were actually bubbles she'd conjured earlier. Non-perishable and non-bursting unlike real fruit, they were a convincing enough costume prop. The alternate required a tad more dedication than what she was willing to give.
Like most tonight, Phaedra modeled herself after a mythological figure, but her choice, admittedly, wasn't as popular as the mountains of Apollos and Athenas that were sure to be present. It still came with its benefits. For a last minute costume, hers was easy enough to put together without having to owl home. Plus, the wine theme would probably prove itself a cruel irony near the end of the evening; if dealing with Arjan was going to be like last summer, she'd need a glass herself.
Arjan pulled a rose from his kurta, kissed it for some reason, and then handed it to her. “For me? Thank you.” Well, this was a pleasant surprise. She always appreciated flowers; who didn't? Maybe she'd been wrong about him. With a smile, she gently stuck the rose into the pale corsage he'd sent her two days prior where it'd be safe and out of the way. Sacrificing a hand carrying it tonight wouldn't do at all.
His attempts at flattery didn't end there. “Oh.” Phaedra watched with bated breath as Arjan took her hand and planted a kiss atop it. She halfway expected him to then lean in and kiss her with all the kissing going on, and she forced out a laugh once he finally pulled away. “Heh. Oh, you. You look wonderful too. A... kurta, right? Not exactly Ancient Greek, but I like it.”
Slipping her arm into his extended one, they began their short walk to the Courtyard together. There were two vastly different areas that she could make out through a squint, with a larger crowd and soft music emitting from the closest. It was obviously called the Underworld for a reason. Everything was dark, too dark, and upon arrival, Phaedra wanted nothing more than to pass through to the brighter side. Casting Lumos seemed risky somehow. Arjan spoke up beside her.
Drinks? Did she really want to risk getting drinks when last Blossom Ball she'd attended had the punch bowls spiked? It wasn't like her date knew any of that though, being from Durmstrang and all. Feeling stuck between a hard place of not wanting to be a bore and not wanting to be careless, Phaedra took a moment to ponder her options. She settled on honesty. “Err. Well, last time the punch had some adverse effects. But hey, different organisers this time. Let's see what they're serving, shall we?”Action: Entering the ball, walking to punch table with Arjan

What a total joke, not long after Rodion stepped in the underworld, ‘his’ Anastasia was all over whatever that creature was. What was Luka wearing, anyway? Willy Wonka and Joker crossover? The Lorax? He looked like an oompa loompa. At least that was what Rodion was thinking, not that he possibly knew those muggle characters. But honestly, the ‘Ana’s obsessive stalker’ looked way worse and he thought it was stylish. Was he going to a beach party? He only missed one thing, sunglasses.
While waited patiently (not so much) for his date, he glared intensely in Ana and Luka’s direction. The beach boy scanned the underworld for something he could do to impress Ana, and possibly Violet too, but not so much for her date since she was already head over heels with his charm and the magnificently cursed poem.
Right now, there were two options for him. Either he tries to do the trials and win the prize or stopping the Durmstrang girl from hitting someone with her fist. Then he touched his face slowly as he thought about that. There was no way he would throw himself into a fight and risking his beautiful face ruined with a single punch. Without it his charming ability will vanish within seconds, especially if he only depends on his over the top pick up line skill, that would be the end of the world. Maybe it was a good idea for him to settle down a bit and wait for Violet to come, and after that, Ana, here he comes.

What Eden did not want to happen had just happened - he was absolutely fine with a couple of folk coming for a chat, as long as their behaviour was adequately following the rules of proper etiquette, and that wish had already been devoured by the behaviour of this random rascal. The worst part? It wasn’t just him, some other fellow came by, seemingly friends Eden’s current worst nightmare, as if he already didn’t have a good enough reason to roll his eyes until they started hurting and twitching.
Eden wished to start making his way backwards slower than a turtle, truth be told, he tried. His legs were willingly making tiny steps back, but not even second within his strategy and he was being addressed to left right and centre the more people came to join the group. Why did it have to be the troublemakers that acquainted themselves with him? All he wanted was some peace. But how foolish of him to desire such things when he was surrounded by mere idiots.
Though the thought of someone fancying him was flattering at best, and he couldn’t help but shrug and mush his lips in understanding. This was one of the few times were Eden was capable of empathizing.
“I don’t particularly blame you if you did,” his eyes glared at the half-boy, half-goat creature and the recent newcomer who dressed like he had put on a couple of curtains he found on his way here, as a smirk found its way on his lips. “A shame that I don’t share the same interest that you do, Jack,” addressing him by his name hurt. Eden proceeded to dodge the second invitation to be accompanied by this fool, as he made a swift slide to the side, further extending the distance between the couple of boys and himself.
These two comedians were (unfortunately) not the only strangers to walk up to Eden’s space. There was a brown-haired girl whose face was oddly familiar, but Little Ed could not put his finger on it. But then again, every face at Hogwarts was technically familiar. He couldn’t begin to imagine how many times they probably crossed paths, but simply did not interact with one another, and Eden was perfectly fine with that. Whether things were bound to change or not, Eden was not bothered, though he wasn’t sure he was willing to make the change. There was also another lad, who had inserted himself in the conversation. Whether or not his intentions were to save Eden, the white-haired boy did not care, all he knew was that the more people that distracted this lunatic from further annoying him, the easier were his chances of being left alone.
But that was exactly when one of the girls approached him. And blessed be her presence - Eden enjoyed the company of most girls better than that of boys. He enjoyed their silly little giggles and fancy dresses, long hair and the way they were beautifully fashioned. He enjoyed being friends with most of them. Though he knew a couple of boys around his age as well, it was always the same story.
“You’ve got that right,” technically, she had got everything right, especially the handsome part, “you look very fair to lay my eyes upon as well, your dress is beautiful.” And then came the conversation about the inspiration behind the outfit. Genuinely, Eden could talk about his piece for hours; be it from the choice of inspiration to the reason why he chose white socks over black.
“That’s interesting to know, personally I can’t keep track of the relationships between all the greek gods - there are far too many. But yes, I wouldn’t exactly say I’m dressed as her, but she is the inspiration behind the gold and flowers.” Eden’s fingers couldn’t help but gently touch the fine materials of the gown that the fellow first-year wore.
“Beautiful piece - I like the texture,” naturally. Merlin, this interaction continued to prove Eden’s opinion on boys and girls right.

Vivian’s outfit
Reducio
Today is Vivian’s first day attending an event in Hogwarts. Yes, she has not attended any other event before. At first, she did not think of attending the blossom ball too but later somehow decided to join. She first thought of wearing a dress that would be heavy and make her look dazzling but decided not to as it was not her style. She always likes to wear a dress that would make her feel at comfort. But she was not at all comfortable with her heels as it was her first time wearing them.
She was walking very slowly trying not to fall down or worst, fall on someone. It would be so embarrassing for her if it happens. Now, as she entered the underworld there was something that made her feel scared and nervous. No, it was not the darkness that made her feel disturbed. She was not a person to be scared of darkness but was more careful now and was only looking at the ground and her heels.
Vivian was looking at everyone chatting, having some fun with their friends and some came with a date but could not recognise anyone. She felt awkward walking alone without any date or friends. But it was okay as it was her who made a late decision of coming here and not having anyone to ask out. Vivian was so thirsty, so she grabbed a cup and filled it with a drink which she did not know what it was and had a sip without any second thought. She realised it had an odd smell and looked at it for a few seconds with a confused look but continued to drink it while looking at the blue flame.

The courtyard had been transformed, it felt a little bit more mysterious then Samantha had expected for a ball. She had never been to a ball before, but she expected fun music, lots of lights and well, just not this. Samantha hoped that the music inside was better.
The young girl like her outfit, it was simple and not very original, but she didn't mind it. Her outfit excised out of only three pieces, her dress, the shoes and her flower crown. Her mom and sister had wanted her to wear a lot of Greek themed jewelry, but Samantha had declined every piece of jewelry they had showed. After rejecting almost every idea, she had to give in on the dress, at first Sam wanted to wear jeans or a jumpsuit, but her mom persuaded her to wear a dress. The Flower Crown she was wearing didn't really match with the theme or her dress, but she didn't care. Samantha liked to Crown, so she was going to wear it, end of discussion.
The reason the young girl went to the ball was not because she liked to dress up, she wanted to make friends and get to know more of the students from the other schools. Hopefully they could talk English, because that was the only language she knew. And she knew Dutch, but she didn't expect many other students to be able to talk or understand Dutch.
Samantha had come alone to the ball, she not interested in having a date, and all of her friends didn't want to or couldn't attend the ball. At first she didn't know if she wanted to go alone, but than she realize it meant she had more time to make new friends and meet new people. She may have been alone, but she didn't feel alone. There where so many new faces, possible new friends that Samantha could talk to.
Samantha's eyes fell on a student (Ophélie Moore) she had never seen before, they where probably from an other school. They were, just like some other students, standing alone. Samantha decided that this student was going to be her victim for trying to make new friends. On her way over to them, she filled two cups with the punch, so she could offer the other student some.
"Hello," Samantha smiled, holding the two drinks in her hands, "From which school are you?" She hoped the other girl understood English, otherwise she would look like a fool. "My name is Samantha, I got some punch for if you want." The young girl offered the other students one of the punches. Maybe the other student found it weird that Samantha had randomly come over to them, but going over to random people was something the brunette did daily.ReducioAction: Entering the Underworld, offering Ophélie Moore a glass of the punch and also holding a glass of punch for herself, but not drinking yet.

Yes, he would find her.
Kissing with tongues was not as fun as media or books describe it. It was more like two eels in mortal combat, it was wet and slippery, there was no indicator if or when the kiss should break or if it should break at all. Somewhat clumsy, unpracticed hands would find the back of Levi's neck, the poor first year should celebrate the fact that Mathias' hands did not travel to Levi's rear. Matt did shift slightly where he stood, not the type to close his eyes even during their first kiss. He was looking at the girl's reaction -- he hoped that she was irate, furious.
"That's a no, you ass"
Well, she was not the passive onlooker sort. How wonderfully pedestrian of her. Levi's taller, semi-attractive date would no longer have a purely decorative presence. She would pull, well the pre teen would allow himself to be pulled off of Levi. The suction lost between them, his hands might have held on long enough to try and knock the Gryffindor over, using his girlfriend's meaty arms to his advantage.
He would stand to his full height, five foot even. A closer match than Levi was to his own date. How shameful for poor Napoleon. He would give the girl a cheeky smile and make a crash claim, "sorry I did not see you there Miss." He knew full well the girl was likely his overpriced date, but he was not here to make 'nice.' "It is a pleasure to finally meet his big sister," he chuckled a bit. He could not help himself, the girl looked utterly indignant. "Every bit the brute I confess," he complained. "Name's Matt--" not Percival as Levi had called him, a call back to the false name he had provided the lion with some weeks ago.
"I don't know you, but I already hate your face."
She curled her hand into a fist and the burly lumberjack of a woman prepared to strike down the ever so delicate and noble Mr. Pride. At least that was how he was going to describe her later. Who assails a young man with a kiss when a pair of hands could be thrown with better ease? Mathias would grant the girl a grin and make no attempt to evade the girl's assault. "Mighty Merlin man" alliteration at its best "what I do for love." He left his jaw exposed and made no effort to defend himself with his hands which he left limply at his sides.
“HEY! WITH ALL DUE RESPECT, NO FIGHT IN THE UNDERWORLD! IF YOU WANT TO FIGHT, GO TO THE SPRING AREA!”
And POW right in the kisser, well jaw. Pride would not step down, nor would he throw hands with a girl in public. No, that was more Vlad's modus operandi. Mathias would spin around dramatically in response to her blow, not that it did not hurt. The girl was absolutely part ogre. "Ow!" He complained as he brought a hand to his now reddened jaw. "What's wrong with you!?" He accused her as he massaged his cheek with his fingertips. Yes, the girl was being utterly unreasonable here, not Mathias.
