The more intricate Ethen’s drawing became the more seriously be began to take the assignment. “Beauty...blender…” Ethen said giving one of the sponges a small squeeze. “You never know where you might need one,” he decided aloud with a small nod and grin to the ponderous girl. Returning to his small heist, Ethen began wondering what else he could toy with.

“You are right… This stuff might be useful,” Ethen said quietly as Atlas mentioned the potential to make disguises with the make up. It seemed like a perfect tool for mischief and he knew that it would have to be something he actually practiced at. He wondered if Atlas would volunteer to be used as a practice face but thought it would be better he knew what he was doing before her terrorized another. “I’ll have you know I would be a very pretty woman!” Ethen grinned mischievously at the notion.

Turning his attention back to the dark-haired girl for a moment, Ethen wondered what help he could possibly be for the girl in the manicure. Based on Atlas’ response, he was pretty sure that he was the only one who didn’t actually know what it meant. But he had come this far with his blind ignorance and there was no point in backing down now.

“Of course I would help. It would be my honor,” Ethen said standing at attention and dramatically saluting the girl as if in the military. Putting down his assortment of lipsticks, Ethen wiped his hands on his leg. “Alight… how can I help with this… manicuring,” Ethen said focusing his eyes on Alexis with a mix of confidence and veiled confusion.

Mars grinned as their Head of House told them no. Well, that was to be expected to some degree. They didn't know if there was some magical cure for allergies, but they'd bet good money there was something.

Picking up Alaric's claw, they carefully painted latex around the edge of each of his nail beds. There was more room to cover than normal, seeing as the dhampir's nails were long and the bone structure of his fingers was strong and wide. The latex went on a bright pink, but it dried darker. They'd have to wait a moment before applying any polish. It would be a waste if the latex didn't peel off properly at the end of their gradients. They blew lightly on the substance, hoping internally that would speed things along. Hopefully, Alaric wasn't ticklish either.

Quickly, they laid out a clear-based coat. Might as well get it over with, seeing as they could both dry at the same time. Glancing up at Alaric, they started their work. Dropping his claw for a moment, they snagged a makeup sponge and a pair of scissors. Hoping Professor Jensen or whoever's this was wouldn't mind, they cut a flat surface into the sponge. Opening the pink bottle, they soaked the top part of their sponge in the nail polish. Working in rainbow order, soon enough the entire surface was dripping with the stuff.

Gingerly, Mars lifted Alaric's claw again, scrutinizing the liquid latex. They poked it with a pinky finger. It didn't come back wet and the color had darkened, so they shrugged and began dabbing the flat side of the sponge on the lacquered surface. Luckily, it seemed the base coat had finished drying to, so there wasn't much to worry about. Mars let out a small sigh of relief they didn't realize they'd been holding when the sponge managed to fit all the way across the dhampir's claws. Granted, it was tight but the pink hit the cuticle line fine, and the tip matched up with the purple. A little evening out and the surface was covered in a blended rainbow.

Mars sat back, pretty proud of the result. They grinned up at their Head of House. Hopefully, he didn't think they were done yet. After a few minutes, and a little bit of poking, they figured it was dry enough. Taking one of the thinner brushes, they uncapped the black polish and dipped the tip in, tapping it off on the rim.

Carefully, they drew black outlines around each of the nails, only leaving small stripes of the rainbow visible. Sure, rainbow was pretty by itself, but this would make it more interesting. Sneaking a glance up at Alaric, they smiled slightly. The black would put it more in his color scheme as well, at any rate.

Mars made sure to switch it up on each of the individual claws. Again, it would make the whole set more interesting in the long run. Finishing up, they set the brush down and recapped the black polish. Now to wait again.

Mars sighed. There was sure a lot of waiting involved in nail art. They glanced around the Courtyard. It seemed a fair amount of people had shown up for this, all with varying degrees of expertise. Seeing two witches newly dyed hair made them absentmindedly twirl one of their own strands around a finger. There were plenty of people messing with their hair, with their face, and of course, their nails. Looking back at the task at hand, they caught sight of the lock they'd just touched.

They swore softly. Hadn't noticed there was paint on my finger. It wasn't too bad, but there was definitely a bright blue stain on the sheen of their hair. Sighing, they pushed it out of the way. Whatever, it'd probably wash out in the shower.

Finally, Alaric's claws were tacky enough to add a topcoat. A few swipes and it was done. They set his claw back on the table and smiled up at their Head of House.

"Well, it's gotta dry, but otherwise—" they gestured to his hand, "it's done. Hope you like it.

Ariana couldn't suppress a giggle as she unscrewed the lid of the nail polish, “We certainly do!” She was starting to enjoy this quite a lot, considering her reputation for such boisterous behavior. Ariana watched May pick up the nail polish and begin to paint her nails. As she did, she began to feel so mesmerized by the enthralling task so much that she jumped slightly when May spoke again. "Hey Ari! Why don't we dye our hair after painting our nails? Not too much, but maybe a little." Ariana hadn't been expecting that at all, she choked on the sip of water she had just taken, coughing, her eyes watering. “What?” She said weakly, looking up at May with a dumbfounded expression.

She had never before thought of dying her hair, and in any case she was fine with the color she had, any other disastrous events with manicures and nail polish or hair dye and she was bound to stay away from the stuff permanently. Then again, wasn't she trying to change that? Wasn't it one of her goals to become more accustomed to girlish activities since she had stepped foot within the castle? Sure she was always going to have her feisty, brash, bold character, but it couldn't hurt to touch upon things that could be changed. For a young girl she was certainly very pretty- a smaller and more youthful looking version of her mother aside from eye colour and skin tone. In fact, upon first glance she had the graceful air of a beautiful veela. However she didn't seem to take care for such things and so she was left to natural, untamed messy curls and rowdy behaviour that contributed to her bright personality.

"Here you go!"

Ariana wiped her eyes again, admiring her newly painted nails, “It looks amazing May! Thank you so much!” They certainly looked very pretty, the hufflepuff had done a great job. Ariana would have instinctively hugged the girl, if it were not for the fact that they were on opposite sides of the table.

"Ariana! May! hey, what are you guys doing?"

At this Ariana's head snapped up, her warm smile turning to a friendly grin in a flash as she spotted one of her most favorite people in the world. “Janet!” she exclaimed happily. “Come join us!” she pulled a chair for the girl, and immediately stuck her hands in front of her best friends eyes, wiggling her fingers around, “Do you like them?” She questioned, smiling warmly. Ariana surveyed the expression on the blonde's face, she seemed slightly perplexed, perhaps confused at the fact of why Ariana would divulge into such an activity.

“Oh Janet, don't be silly! Anyone can do makeup and manicures!”

It seemed as though the excitement was rising, Ariana beamed at May, grabbing Janet's hands and reaching for the nail polish bottles. Wow, since when had she become such a fan for this sort of stuff, was May growing on her? Well the feeling was certainly welcome, “You HAVE to be matching with me!!” She said loudly, bubbly tones tumbling from her lips as she rummaged through the different colours.

“So girls, are you enjoying this day? Or not?”

Mays question came out of nowhere, and Ariana paused her chaotic babbling, “Yes!” she said finally, “Thanks for dragging me here May, it's been really fun!” And as the gryffindor set back to looking for nail polish, she indeed genuinely thought so.

As soon as she arrived at the table she was greeted by her two friends warmly.
"Oh Janet, don't be silly! Anyone can do makeup and manicures!" Said May pulling her into a chair and holding a few cans of hair dye threateningly.
Janet looked at the girl slightly amused, no doubt May's excitement would wear off on her eventually, and then Janet too would start enjoying this.
"What do you prefer? Red, pink, blue...? Maybe yellow? The rainbow? What color do you want? What nail polish? Maybe like Ariana? Oh! I have a idea! One hand is my nail style, and the other one is Ariana's! You tell me, now!"
May was simply red with excitement and was beaming with delight. Her happiness was very much contagious and a small happy laugh escaped Janet's lips.
"Umm well... maybe nails first? I'm no expert you guys can choose." She laughed again, "But I'm not sure I want to go out in public with rainbow hair."
"Janet come join us!" cried Ariana who was also having the time of her life, "do you like them?" She said holding out her hands for inspection.
"Yes! they're amazing!" she said with excitement and lingering confusion at the sight of Ariana so excited about nails.
Ariana had obviously caught Janet's bemused and perplexed expression at Ariana's excitement for the manicures. She grabbed her arm and started rummaging through the colours trying to find a fitting one.
“You HAVE to be matching with me!!”
Well it was no use to fight their excitement so she simply laid out her hands for the two girls to get to work on as they pleased. Janet trusted their judgement anyway and was sure whatever they did would look great. And even if it didn't Janet couldn't really care less. She was slightly alarmed at the thought of dying her hair, (even temporarily) but maybe she would give it a go after the nails, she could do a little strand of colour in her blonde hair maybe... Well here she was planning her hair. Her friends' excitement had obviously worn off on her and she was beginning to enjoy herself. Janet would perhaps never really be the type to do this stuff a lot and she would certainly never do it if she couldn't enjoy it with her friends, but she was having fun.
“So girls, are you enjoying this day? Or not?”
Janet didn't even pause with her answer this time.
"Yes! I never thought I would say this, normally I can't stay still enough even to brush my hair! But your excitement has probably worn off on me," she said grinning and laughing with pleasure.

Cassie blowed out their now beige colored nails to help it dry faster. The boy who approached them seems to having a short conversation with their Head of House and it seems the boy need a second to register that in fact Professor Jensen talking to him. "Actually, I think they can help me."Is what Slyvain said to Professor Jensen (Cassie hoping that it is the boy name).

"Thank you Professor Jensen, I just need a trim I think.”Slyvain said his gratitude toward Professor Jensen. "It's very considerate of you to offer me a seat, thank you."Slyvain addressing his thank you to the young Serpent. "No need to thank me, really. It is better that you pretend to know someone than being awkwardly alone, me think"Cassie shot a playful grin to the Raven boy.

Then Slyvain assures the green eyes girl that in fact what Cassie said was true. That his name indeed Slyvain. "You must be Cassandra Ironwoods.”He said to Cassie. Cassie rose their eyebrow. Nobody ever mention their full name when that person know Cassie. It always 'Cassandra', never 'Cassandra Ironwoods'. Cassie smirk at this.

"Cash would do just fine"Cassie inform the boy, providing him with their nickname. While Cassie blowing out their nails and waiting for their dyed hair dry, they look at Slyvain. The boy clipping his nails but his hand somewhat still dirty. Cassie tried not to shudder with the view of the boy hands.

Cassie brave themselves to take a closer look at the boy hands. "Oh wow!"It is the first thing that Cassie uttered upon seeing how gross the boy hands. "I said I can help you but that you so called hands is beyond saving, mate"The Serpent claimed. "It looks like they seen a better days. I can not imagine how you can function for your day to day life with hands like that"Cassie buntlines maybe hurt the boy feeling but someone need to tell the boy one way or another.

Finally their dyed hair finally dry. Cassie then grab the finger bowl what filled with water from earlier and start washing the gunk away. While in the middle of washing their hair, Slyvain spoke to them. "Oh, uh, hey, I really like the color you chose."He half whispered. "If I'm being honest, I came over here because I noticed your hair, and couldn't look away."The boy compliment Cassie's work in progress hair.

Cassie suppresses their need to let out a cute aww with how the boy said toward their hair. Cassie throw a genuine smile to the argyle clad wearer. "Thank you and beside nobody can resist my charm"They let out a playful banter. It seems what he said finally dawn on himself and he become an awkward mess. Adorable

"Uh, eh, that is to say, um."He stuttered awkwardly. “What I meant to say was that I think your hair looks fantastic, and I'd like it very much if you helped me understand why you wanted to change its color."Slyvain is curious why Cassie took such a drastic measure regarding the hair changing color.

"I mean why not? In a few weeks both of us will become a Second Year and I think it is the perfect opportunity and time to do so"They provide the answer. While waiting their hair being dry naturally by the wind, Cassie start working on the detail that they have in mind for their new freshly painted manicure nails.

Ivy was good at makeup, but she had never liked it, most likely because her parents forced her to wear it at the many pureblood parties they threw. It felt... unnatural, caking her face with random liquids and powders, and besides, there was really nothing she needed to cover up. She didn't have scars or acne, and to be completely honest, Ivy liked the way she looked, so why would she need any makeup? Maybe she'd put on a little for special events, like someone's birthday party or a ball, but even then she'd feel uncomfortable, as if she was in someone else's skin.

Still, the Gryffindor had decided she would attend this errand, deciding that she didn't necessarily have to use makeup... right? "Makeover" was a very broad topic, and after all, Ivy had been looking for meaningless fun activities to fill up her time with, and this errand fell straight under that cateogry. Also, her nails needed a makeover.

She had intentionally let her dark brown hair fall over her shoulders instead of putting them into her usual Dutch braids that day, wanting to create a more elaborate hairstyle with the materials provided there. However, she was regretting it a little - although it was not a particularly windy day, her hair was already knotted and tangled despite the fact that she had brushed it only just half an hour ago. Thankfully, Ivy had been smart enough to bring a hairbrush along with her, and she tugged it through her hair as she approached the courtyard, grimacing as she caught a few difficult knots in her haste. Why did hair get so tangled no matter what type of day it was? Couldn't it just stay put?

It appeared that she was a little late to the party. Ivy sighed to herself at the sight of such a crowded courtyard. She didn't like large gatherings very much, but what did she expect? The name of the errand included the name "makeover", and with the amount of over-excited princesses in this castle, it was bound to be popular.

Still, Ivy had definitely underestimated the amount of people interested in the errand, and although she had only just arrived, she was already feeling a little antsy. Her lips drew into a thin line with displeasure as she observed the scene for a moment longer, contemplating whether or not she should turn on her heel and leave. Large crowds were truly the worst.

But then again, she didn't necessarily have to socialise, did she?

Sending anyone who dared to approach her a look that would have stopped lava, Ivy stopped to pick up a few things at the box containing nail tools, pointedly ignoring the makeup box. She picked up a tiny nail brush, a nail file and a few different colours of nail polish selected at random, before heading over to a less crowded corner of the courtyard. However, before she started with her nails, Ivy tugged her brush through her hair a few more times, knowing that if she didn't do her hair now, she'd forget about it and then it would be an absolute mess for the rest of the day.

She worked quickly, her hands weaving pieces of hair in and out as she created a braid crown. As she was working fast and therefore not paying attention to detail, the hairstyle ended up a little bit messy, but it wasn't like she needed it to be perfect, anyway - just for her dark hair to be up and out of her way while she worked on her nails.

Ivy pinned her hair in place and stretched her fingers before picking up the nail file. As she filed her nails into an acceptable shape, the young witch was reminded of the many monotonous afternoons she had spent in Bellamy Manor, fidgeting as her mother dolled her up. She had always hated the preparation needed for the family gatherings and balls her parents hosted. Ivy usually would have jumped at any chance to spend time with her mother, but it just felt like a waste of time. She could be doing something useful, something that she actually enjoyed, but she would be forced to sit in front of a mirror and stare at her own reflection, bored out of her mind, for hours on end.

But this was different, she reminded herself. It was her own decision to come here. And to her surprise, she was actually enjoying the activity. Ivy set down the file onto the ground next to her and began to paint her nails with a coat of mauve polish, marvelling how lovely the colour was. She lifted her hand to catch the slight breeze blowing through the courtyard and prayed that it would dry quickly. The Gryffindor already had a design in mind, and although it wasn't a complicated one, she wasn't sure how she would manage painting with her left hand.

A couple minutes later, Ivy gingerly touched the tip of her finger to her nail, checking to see if the polish had dried yet. Yes! She grinned, relieved that she hadn't just ruined her manicure, and picked up the tiny nail brush before moving to work on her design. Ivy wanted to paint little roses onto her nails, and as she was sort of just going for it, she really hoped she wouldn't mess it up or she'd have to start all over again.

Thankfully, it appeared that her hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills were better than she had initially thought, because the final result was rather nicely done - and although the roses painted by her left hand were slightly more uneven than the others, she was rather pleased. Ivy brushed a top coat over her nails quickly, and once they had fully dried, she stood up and made for the exit. This had not been as bad as she thought it would be - and it was nothing like the party preparations her mother made her sit through as a child. You see, these things were so much more fun when they were your choice.

The third year had been staring at his hands helplessly as he tried to ponder how to get the smears of nail polish off his skin when once again the Ravenclaw head of house would come to his rescue. It was not like there was too much to save in the first place but Alan was still happy about the amount of reassurance and help he got throughout his task to get this done. So as instructed he would do, as he gave the professor a shy nod accompanied by the littlest of smiles. Alan had been noticing it before but something about the professor was off but he could not quite put his finger onto it. He also did seem a little intimidating but not in a bad way. He just seemed confident and strong in the way it was off-setting. It startled Alan but also impressed him and made questions and curiosity rise within him. It also felt familiar and reminded him of a friend of his, Neculai.

Unbeknownst to Alan he had been staring at @Alaric Equinox this whole time without adverting his gaze even once. His eyes a mix of curiosity and concentration as he tried to solve the riddle surrounding the professor, a riddle that could have easily been solved if he had been paying attention throughout all of his Astronomy classes which he did not since he held little fascination for the subject itself. If the professor were to notice him staring the third year would duck his head away and mutter a small "Sorry" before continuing to rub the smudged nail polish off his fingers with the nail polish remover, that had a biting smell to it, with the help of the cotton pads.

Once he was done with removing all the spilled and smeared spots on his fingers he would carefully touch up the polish on his nails using the very same deep red color he had been using before as he held his hand before his mouth and gently blew onto them to make the color dry a little faster. In between sending puffs of air to his nails he would glance at the professor once again clear his throat to gain the man's attention for a brief moment. "Would you mind if I practice some more on your nails, sir, after you are free th-that is," he muttered, fully aware of the fact that the man was still occupied by at least one other student using him as some sort of canvas. He did not want to be rude or selfish and also had no interest in overwhelming the man by having him focus on too many students at once.

Ruka didn't usually join errands very often, and especially after the disaster of the last one he had participated in, he had thought to have had enough of interacting with people at all for a while. He had successfully avoided both Flash and Jack since that day and continued with his life in blissful solitude for a little bit.

Coming across this particular errand had been incidental, focusing on random things at a time to try and help his mind settle a bit, and under normal circumstances Ruka would have just moved on and forgotten about it within seconds. This time, however, his mind had wandered straight to that day in the bathrooms where he had met George and they had painted a more or less beautiful tiger onto Jake's face. The small Hufflepuff hadn't looked so great upon entering the bathrooms, had seemed kind of tired and unmotivated, but once the face paint had come into play he had definitely started to lighten up.

Ruka wasn't quite sure what it was that had the slightly smaller boy feeling blue, but he did know what it was like to walk around the castle without feeling an ounce of motivation to do anything but exist. Even just existing felt difficult sometimes. Maybe, he had figured, helping Jake feel better again would give himself a sense of purpose, a reason to feel like he was valuable in some way, like he was needed and wanted somehow.

What he wouldn't give to feel needed and wanted again.

So confidently had he thought of himself as someone who didn't need other people, who couldn't care less what they thought of him or if they wanted him around, but just a single attachment had shown him exactly how dependent he was on outside validation. It had turned him into a person he barely recognised anymore, someone who was carefully tiptoeing through a minefield of emotions he had never experienced before. Things had been arguably better before he'd decided to associate himself with other people in any way.

Being by himself had meant that negative emotions born of social interaction had been kept to an absolute minimum, and he couldn't help but regret the fact that he had given up his solitude in exchange for harrowing feelings that were slowly but surely eating him up from the inside. He should have stuck to staying in his dorm room all day, should have kept out of everyone's way, should have stuck to himself.

But now there was no turning back anymore.

So out of a selfish need to be important somehow, Ruka had invited Jake to this particular errand of which he hadn't quite understood what it entailed exactly, but some coloured stuff to be put on faces was definitely involved, judging by the groups of people already gathered in the Courtyard and painting stuff on each other.

Ruka had stuck to the edge of the happenings, simply observing the more or less familiar students for a while to see what exactly they were up to. A lot of them seemed to be painting each others' nails with various colours which seemed like a strange idea to Ruka who liked to nibble on his nails nervously every once in a while. He imagined having colour on them would give them a disgustingly artificial taste and take all the calming aspects out of nail biting.

Sighing to himself, Ruka slowly moved around the tables and chairs set up all over the place to seek out the large tree Jake had mentioned in his letter. He was still a bit early so there was not yet any sign of the little badger, and Ruka took the time to lean against the tree bark, closing his eyes for a moment to keep his mind from going off the rails again. Hadn't he been doing better? Hadn't he spent a whole month working on getting rid of this never ending anxiety and his gnawing feelings of inadequacy? Why couldn't he seem to be getting them under control anymore now?

What was wrong with his mind?

Slowly blinking his eyes open again, he looked down on his attire; He was clad in his favourite grey sneakers and a simple pair of blue jeans, but his T-Shirt, short sleeved and carelessly revealing his scarred arms, was old and grey and at least two sizes too big and had come straight out of the trunk with his dad's old clothes. There had been an instinctual need to put on something of his dad's since Ruka had taken to leaving his necklace back on his nightstand in his dormitory ever since the race a few days ago. He needed at least something of his dad's to feel vaguely sane throughout the day.

His wand was poking out of the pocket of his jeans, there just in case.

A look at his own hands would reveal his knuckles to be raw and scarred, like he had been beating something he really wasn't supposed to, but he averted his eyes quickly, instead trying to focus his eyes on a bird atop the fountain, dipping its head into the water every so often as if for refreshment. It was understandable; Summer was well on its way and the weather had improved significantly, rising heat making their cloaks redundant outside of classes. Even to Ruka, who enjoyed warm weather above the cold, anything more than a light T-Shirt was making him feel ridiculously overheated.

With a little sigh, he let himself slide down along the bark until he was sitting on the ground, pulling his knees close and hugging them tightly against his chest. Upon closer inspection he would look tired but he was doing his best to cover it up with a performance smile he had been practicing his whole life and he doubted anybody would be able to see through it unless they knew him incredibly well.

Not long now, he thought to himself as he rested his chin on his knees, rocking himself back and forth for a little while as he waited for Jake's arrival so they could both take their minds of whatever darkness there was hidden inside.

Alexis’s hand moved swiftly to apply light blush on her cheekbones and a little bit on the tip of her nose to add the playful look, then dig into the makeup box to find last two items she need for her finishing touch. Her hands came up with a mascara and several shades of lip gloss. She set the mascara down and held up the lip gloss up to her eye level. “What do you guys think? Peach, Coral, Cherry, or Nude?” She held them up to Atlas and Ethen to see before she paused. “You know what? Never mind. I’ll go with Coral. Thanks.”

She picked up the mascara she placed down earlier and uncap it. Steadily, she applied it without getting any on her eyelids or messing up her previous work. That’s definitely count as a win. She let out a sigh and blinked at herself a few time. Perfect. “Backpacking sound interesting. I might have to try it sometimes. Where do you recommend?”

She help up her index finger and wiggled it like a teacher before saying, “First of all, nothing is wrong with wild makeup, it’s exciting...” She pauses to grab the Coral lip gloss, just holding to before continued. “Second of all, why don’t you do another eye like this one. So in the end, it’ll look identical”

“Oh! And... pick the shades you want to use.” She flashed the girl a smile before applying the lip gloss. She rubbed her lips together a few time before giving herself a toothy smile, making sure she didn’t get any lip gloss on her teeth. It happened once, luckily it was her family who saw it. Still very embarrassing.

She turned to watch Ethen saluted her and giggled. “Okay... why don’t we grab a base coat and pick a base colour. Sounds good?” She said as she dug her hands into the manicure box, trying to find her perfect shade of nail polish.

WC met for errand completion.

Quinn perked up and so did Irene who just watched the three curiously a little on edge but mostly relaxed. She seemingly approved of Caradoc at least, but most notably her attention was focused on the frog on Breana's head. She would never eat of it course. She was too proper for that sort of thing. Meanwhile Quinn took up the brush again a different sized one it was much smaller than the previous one and dipped it in an ice-blue shade. He carefully started to apply it on Caradocs eyelid in a thin layer. Doing his best to keep it even. Surprisingly it was turning out fairly good, and he went back over thickening it up a bit more with a larger amount.

Quinn was getting superbly focused now and continued on his task using a variety of brushes and shades. He knew it wasn't going to be great but the perfectionist deep within himself along with his competitive nature would not allow him to give anything else but his full undivided attention and beyond maximum effort. It showed by the way he furrowed his brow and concetrated wholly on his task. Currently he was still working on the eyelid doing his best to blend the icy blue with a rich, deep purple that it tapered into above and below the eyelid.

"Me mum makes it look so easy..." He mumbled completely forgetting Caradoc was there and funnily enough treating his face more like a canvas. Hence the closeness that would normally or should normally make most uncomfortable. But such is the price of perfection.

Meanwhile Irene's eyes had dilated a lot as she was seemingly transfixed on Breana's paw. Much like a child would be with its favorite toy. Her moved every time it moved.
