BACKSTORY

Minju was born into the prestigious House of Jeong, an ancient noble family from South Korea. When she was two years old, her family relocated to London after her father, Jeong Min-jun (Lord Alistair), accepted a prominent position within the Department of International Magical Cooperation.

Her mother, Jeong Sun-her (Lady Genevieve), managed the household with absolute authority, while her father navigated international Ministry politics. Though her parents expected perfection from Minju and her older siblings, Dohyun and Seo-yeon, Minju grew especially close to Seo-yeon, who served as a quiet confidante. Dohyun became the pristine example of the family heir.

Because their circle was so small, Minju rarely grew up around children her own age, so Hogwarts is the first time she won’t be under her mother’s watchful eye. Her siblings remain nearby in the castle halls, and while her brother expects her to act like a proper lady and not disgrace the family line, her sister is calmer and more understanding. Under all the scrutiny, Minju still tries to remain the perfect lady everywhere she goes.
