Willow Wood:
Willow was an uncommon wand wood with healing power, and their ideal owner often had some (usually unwarranted) insecurity, however well they might try and hide it. They had a handsome appearance and a well-founded reputation for enabling advanced, non-verbal magic. Willow wands had consistently selected those of greatest potential, rather than those who felt they had little to learn. The Ollivander family believed that "he who has furthest to travel will go fastest with willow".

Phoenix feather:
This was one of the rarest core types.[7] Phoenix feathers were capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may have taken longer than either unicorn hair or dragon heartstring cores to reveal this. They showed the most initiative, sometimes acting of their own accord, a quality that many witches and wizards disliked.[7]
Phoenix feather wands were always the pickiest when it comes to potential owners, for the creature from which they are taken was one of the most independent and detached in the world. These wands were the hardest to tame and to personalise, and their allegiance was usually hard won.[7]

First Instance of Magic:
When Isla was 8 years old, she had a white teddy bear, a gift from her grandmother. One day, after her brother Ethan snatched it away, she burst into tears, trying to get it back. She was upset, and she started to shout through tears "I wish it could disappear" even though she didn't mean it, if anything happened to that old plushie she would be devastated. After a few more minutes of her shouting that sentence it did, leaving Isla and her brother completely stunned, she didn't want to do that, she never did, and yet somehow she managed to, making everyone in the manor search for it. Three days later, the white bear was found in one of the armoires of the manor, which came to be the oldest one, and the normally closed one.
