Height: Taller than most, Aamon stands at 5 foot. Height, for the most part, is one of the few physical traits that remains consistent with his family.
Weight: Athletic, it is well-known that muscle weighs more than fat but the scale has been a source of distress for Aamon. He presently weighs 155 pounds, making him technically 'overweight' per height-weight charts but in truth he has very little fat.
Hair: Brown hair with barely noticeable natural blonde highlights. His hair is considered medium-length and remains well-groomed. During the school year his squared medium length haircut can resemble a wavy quiff because he does not cut his own hair and often his hair grows faster than maintenance at a barber shop on holidays alone could allow.
Eyes: Blue eyes with a segmental heterochromia or heterochromia iridis. Specifically he has a patch of green in his left iris, but otherwise his eyes are blue. They have appeared pale blue since the summer.
Attire: He dresses well, often donning collared shirts and jackets in his off-time. In class he simply wears his wizarding robes or school uniform.Mental Description
Aamon is hard-working and intelligent. He was reared in a household that valued success and because he has so many siblings and cousins, he finds it hard to stand out. He is often left in the shadow of his brothers and cousins and hopes that he will be able to free himself from the expectations and comparisons with his family. He is also ambitious, he feels that he will be successful and hopes to one day be a Prefect or a quidditch captain.Biography
The youngest of his specific parentage, he has siblings both older and younger than himself. Notably, his eldest half-sister Olivia Hess graduated from Hogwarts last year, he shared a mother with her. His eldest half-brother, Vladimir Athanatos (NPC owned by this author used in events) recently graduated from Hogwarts in 2024, they share a father. His second eldest half-brother is Jürgen Hess (NPC owned by this author used in events) is still in Hogwarts and they share the same mother; he has been raised primarily in the Athanatos household but has also spent significant time in the Hess homestead as well. His second eldest half-brother is Giddeon Athanatos (NPC owned by this author used in events) who is also still in Hogwarts and they share the same father. He also has a squib half-sibling, Dirk with whom Aamon shares a mother with. Aamon has had limited association with Dirk to their unfortunate lack of magical promise, a failure in breeding and legacy unfortunately. He has a few younger half-siblings also, however he does not spend a great deal of time with these younger family members yet (remains vague because I do not want contradictory information regarding the family tree).
While his family might seem odd to some, the family tree might require a spreadsheet, to a pureblood such as himself, marriages and children are not always (or even often) made as a product of love but rather as simply a 'product.' His father, Thaddeus Athanatos is a pure-blooded Seer and rumored legilimens and his mother, also Olivia (his older half-sister has the same name) is a Seer. Due to the rarity of their bloodline and psychic talent, it is considered their duty to not only have large families to expand their numbers but to also maintain genetic diversity, so he has many half-siblings and cousins with confusing connections that he considers to be natural and expected.
Besides his unique perspective on familial normalcy, he had a rather common, albeit privileged childhood. He grew up wealthy, so wanted for little besides the attention of his parents who lived separate lives in separate homes. There was never witnessed affection between his biological parents, however he was well cared for and they both took an active role in raising Aamon.
He was educated in a private school for pureblooded wizards. While there are no known public institutions for the early training of wizard children, elementary education can be provided in a group setting without subsidy or oversight from the Ministry of Magic and that was the case with young Aamon. Aamon and several other, like-aged children were provided their basic education in a classroom setting in London. He would arrive daily via floo and return nightly to his homestead in Bath. He did well enough there, learning basic maths, science, geography, history and literature. At home, since his family was quite large and diverse and his parents did not have a great deal of time to spend with him individually, he spent a lot of his free time with tutors that taught him how to play various instruments. Being a Seer is to an extent an expectation, however even with a family bloodline that has paid such close attention to this specific trait, even a wizard cannot control nature. In about 60% of cases, a pairing yields a child with Seer talent. This is something that parents monitor for in their children for years in idle hope that another Seer would be born. Being born 'without' or as a layman might refer to them, as 'normal' in their familiar context, they are an unfortunate disappointment in our family. The link and tie still there, the genes just failing to exhibit this talent many maintain a genetic link in our family for the sake of diversity but they rarely have more than a single child within our family line for fear of dilution.
I am one such Seer, again an expected outcome for the most part. Afterall, there is a great than 50% chance. My talent was suspected when I was about 5 years of age, where I would simply avoid unconsciously minor pitfalls or find an object that was hidden well enough that by all statistical odds I should have struggled to find. However, "luck" is simply falling outside the standard deviation of probability. So while this was suspected and these minor games would continue on for years, basically leaving a notch in my favor for the years leading up to Hogwarts until there were so many in my favor, it would have been foolhardy and hard-headed to presume that I was anything but a Seer.
Examples of such activities would be games of dodgeball with bean bags, hard enough to sting but never really injure. As a younger child in the group, I learned quickly that I wanted to avoid the sting of a full hit. Some of my evasive capabilities was certainly a manifestation of physical skill and practice, but again it was a game of odds. The same could be said when we engaged in easter-egg hunts, scavenger hunts and similar activities where a keen eye might have given me a bit of an advantage but again it was a game of odds. As capable as I might have seen myself, everyone has a weakness, however my success rates remained approximately the same - above expected parameters. this has been encouraging to both of my parents, my half-brother Giddeon never developed this gift and while he is very much a part of the family, it is likely that his madness would be better tolerated had he developed the skill of his forbearers. I suppose I can be thankful he did not.
I have not had a vision as of yet, but my half-brother Jürgen has taken an interest in my development. I am only as valuable as I am capable he would remind me. A variety of divination practices common among my family have been reviewed time and time again. Ammon's first instance of magic was rather average, he was 3 years and 6 months of age when his first instance of magic officially occurred. He was playing the piano (he was quite young when he started to play so his skill was no more than a poor rendition of Mary had a Little Lamb at this time) when a loud noise caused by his older brother Giddeon had startled him and Aamon let out a shriek. The shriek caused the piano to split in half.
The incident was easily noticed and resulted in a grand reception by the tutor that was overseeing his lesson. It was one of the few days he ever saw his biological parents together in the same room and this remains a fond, core memory.

Gilded Spoon - Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour
Idle Lessons - Platform 9 3/4August 2024 Aamon is getting ice cream with his 'friends' (dolls). His family often works to remain in the media by being in the 'wrong place at the right time' but he things he can do more thanks to the dolls. Knowing that they will attack anyone that will hurt him, he 'takes his turn' knowing what will happen. Unfortunately he makes a new 'friend' instead Kit Paine. Kit makes him anxious. He is nice, made a positive impact on who he wanted to be but he is really weird.
Fish Among a Sea of StarsAugust 2024 Aamon leaves for summer camp. His older brother Vladimir Athanatos drops him off.
A review of the rules:
○ Number one - the trees are always hungry when it is darkest.
○ Number two - never dig, but if you must hide what you find.
○ Number three - do not trust the food.
○ Number four - the ladies are always watching, even dead.
○ Number five - dark magic is only a matter of perspective.
He meets a pretty old lady (a 4th year) June Selwyn, Renelle Dalton, Astra Norrick and Xiomara Torres. His most meaningful conversation was with Xiomarra who was happy to help him with his trunk. He was impressed by her strength.
Merlin Dorm - SlytherinAugust 2024 Summer camp tent. He shared a tent with several other students, but his interactions were not particularly sign ificant. He would probably recognize the following students who shared a tent with him: Rowan Sallow, Septimus Merrill, Colby Vidler, Renzo Russo, Atticus Drake, Nathaniel Costello, and Xiomara Torres. His continued good impression of Xiomarra continued and he developed a neutral opinion of the others.
Liar - Hospital WingSeptember 2024 The room is for the most part the way Aamon has found it - with the linens provided by the school and a simple canopy bed. The furniture is antiquated, school provided and comfortable. The linens are thick and plush, also a bit aged but well-cared for and obviously a deep, dark green reminiscent of Slytherin colors.
There is a hefty collection of books, many textbooks but some meant for pleasure reading. I love to read history books and enjoy learning as much as I can about what was. A favored saying is - those that do not know the past are doomed to repeat it. I also maintain a lockbox that I keep hidden. I have been told to not place much faith in others so the precaution seems reasonable. Further, I take measures to determine if someone has been in my personal space when I am not there. This is not specifically "magical" but rather simple habits such as tucking my corners when I make my bed a specific way. Placing a hair along a seam so I can identify if and when someone breeches certain spaces.
Me and My Shadow - CorridorsSeptember 2024 Aamon rushes into the hospital wing looking for the nurse. His hand has been cut off. He meets Iris Athanasiuo, Avis Marlong, Atlas Anderson, Opeila Winters, and Finnegan Connor as well as the school nurse Dusana Sabo. The students help him with his severed hand and keep him stable until the nurse arrives. On arrival Dusana threatens the students with detention, leaving a bad impression on the hemorrhaging pre teen. He will now be hesitant to go to the nurse unless the situation is dire. His initial impression of the students is positive to neutral.
September 2024 Aamon is tracked down by Avis Marlong and she demands answers, he found her intimidating. She wants to know what happened with his hand in the Hospital Wing. He is too anxious to answer her. Another pair of students Astra Norrick who had their terrible presence active that he had briefly met once before on Platform 9 3/4 who he found to be in this interaction abrasive and pushy and Meiyu Xiang who he has no specific opinion of. An unseen force (dolls) pushed Avis down the stairs and she was badly injured. Aamon know who to go to: the pink lady.

Pyre - Main Square, Hogsmeade Main Story EventSeptember 2024 A continuation of Me and My Shadow - Corridors where Aamon, Meiyu and Astra drag Avis' mangled body to 'the Pink Lady', also known as Winnie Harper. While Aamon has never met her, he knows a lot about her because Mathias has talked about her. he knew about where to find her. It happens to be her birthday, but Mathias is late for their date because it was weiner schnitzel wednesday. Matt is obnoxious, ends up having a fight with Finnegan Connor that he looses. Avis gets healed. He thinks that Finn is a tad desperate for hitting on Winnie but thought what he did to Mathias was hilarious and looks up to FInnegan, not that he would admit it. He feels guilty about Avis. He thinks Winnie is really nice, a saint really. He already knew Mathias was a tool and that is unchanged.
Great Expectations at Table Ravenclaw - Great HallOctober 2024 When the schools arrived in Hogwarts to attend the fall ball, something went wrong. A terrible explosion rocked the quiet community. Aamon was visiting his oldest brother Vladimir Athanatos when it happened and his older brother rushed him out of the immediate vicinity. He ran into Kit Paine again.
Gala of Mysteries - Great HallOctober 2024 Aamon makes an idiot of himself asking Xiomarra to the ball. Aamon has a good impression of Xio from earlier interactions and wants to see if it can develop into anything more.
October 2024 Aamon takes Xiomarra Torres to the ball, while he is excited and she seemed nice, it is pretty obvious he was into Xiomarra more than she into him. He tried to dance some but ended up leaving the ball early.

Avis Marlong and Emily Shephard step in and stop him, in the process they see the dolls, they resemble Aamon. They help him fight them off and helps him get back into the school. Aamon is too terrified to thank them properly, but Aamon thinks Avis is really cool and brave and that Emily is brave also.
Little Boys and their Broken Toys - LibraryNovember 2024 Avis Marlong talks to Aamon about what happened and helps him get cleaned up. He starts to relax around her and starts to open up and trust Avis.
The Shadow in the Dungeons - DungeonsDecember 2024 Aamon is in the library attempting to learn more about his own family and the public perception. He runs into his brother Gideon Athanatos. He thinks Gideon might have given him decent advice but he does not trust Giddy.
The Huntsman - CourtyardDecember 2024 Aamon is confronted by Percival Grey. He wants information about his brothers Mathias Pride and Vladimir Athanatos. Percival is intimidating and Aamon is terrified of him.
Huntsman II - Defense Against Dark Arts, Professor's OfficeDecember 2024 Finnegan Connor and Avis Marlong confront Aamon on a sunday morning about the dolls. They want to take Aamon to Professor Orion Lécuyer, but Aamon does not want to go because he knows (and reveals) that Orion was a hit wizard. Aamon is terrified of Orion and thinks he will kill him. Finnegan attacks Aamon, using petricus totalis on Aamon. Aamon goes down, is suffering from a concussion. Finn reveals some sort of animosity towards Aamon's family. Aamon is scared of Finn and feels betrayed by Avis.
Quidditch - Slytherin Common RoomDecember 2024 Aamon is taken to Professor Orion Lécuyer's office after they break the petrification spell. Aamon is suffering still from a head injury but has been treated enough to not be actively bleeding. While on the verge of passing out they (Finnegan Connor, Avis Marlong and Professor Lécuyer) show him information in a book about hags and hag items/artifacts, specifically dolls. He recognizes them as being similar. Aamon's fears of the Professor are confirmed with the skulls in the room. Finn he decides is simply mean. He is still hurt by Avis' betrayal but she is the closest thing he has to a friend.
Linger No More - HerbologyDecember 2024 Aamon meets Nabi Park. She tells him about a quidditch pick up game, he thinks he might try Beater. Aamon thinks Nabi is really nice, if he knew what she was thinking he would have had a different opinion but he does not know what is in her head.
You've Come - Main SquareDecember 2024 Aamon seeks out a cousin, Jürgen Hess for advice. Jürgen gives Aamon a bit of Hogwarts history, the dark side few speak about and then takes Aamon to see Vladimir. Aamon trusts Jürgen for his level head.
We Need to Talk About Mattie - OwleryDecember 2024 Jürgen Hess takes Aamon to see Vladimir Athanatos, he lives in Hogsmeade with their other cousin Erin Ryan. Jürgen questions if Vladimir is medicating Erin to keep her out of trouble when he fails to see her. Vladimir does not confirm or deny this. Aamon becomes more suspicious of Vladimir.
I Hate It When they Scream I - Mystic PullmanDecember 2024 Aamon did not see her fall but he heard Gideon Athanatos claim that she jumped. An audacious claim that he could hardly believe, not that he knew Winnie Harper well, but because of the dolls that plagued him. He feels that they went after Winnie. He feels intense guilt and is afraid to speak up because his brother, Winnie's fiance Mathias Pride might kill him if he knew the truth.
I Hate It When they Scream II - Main Square, HogsmeadeDecember 2024 Aamon is returning home for the winter holiday when he meets Vladimir Athanatos, his brother along with Erin Ryan, his cousin. He is told that he is not returning home. He is taken to Vladimir's home for the holiday. Aamon is confused and anxious. He feels something is wrong but not sure what. Erin is a little strange but OK. Vladimir is suspicious.
December 2024 Aamon goes to the home of Vladimir Athanatos, his brother along with Erin Ryan, his cousin. On arrival Vladimir reveals he is wearing a series of chains, he is released from those and places on new chains. The door has a series of locks on it. He is given a short list of new rules, specifically to keep wands out of reach. Aamon has no idea what is going on and is confused and anxious. Erin is very strange. He thinks that Vladimir might be dangerous.
