Astra's father, a Gryffindor Alumnus and senior Auror for the Ministry of Magic. Hyperion is nothing if not brave, though also ambitious and loyal to his family. His job requires a lot of his time, but Rion still makes sure to spend as much time with Asa and Rod as he can. He and Morella have a healthy relationship and though they have their issues, they still work to be the best parents they can. He is persistent to improve himself and be the best leader and father he can be.

Morella Norrick DOB: December 20th, 1983 FC: Charlotte Riley

Astra's mother, a Ravenclaw Alumna and "scientist of magic." Belonging to a private research project funded by investors, Morella and her team work to figure out how magic and Muggle electronics could function together. Progress is slow... and sparky. Morella's best trait would be her curious mind, the thing that attracted Rion to her in the first place. Morella is independent and possesses strong leadership qualities, and though she is stern she is also quite loving to Rod and Asa.

Astra's brother, a Gryffindor and annoyance (she says this with love). He's brave and bold and all that but prideful and a braggart. He has his redeeming qualities, like the loyalty he has to Asa and his occasional intelligence. He's very easygoing and actually a pretty good older brother, except he stops contact with her at random while they're at Hogwarts. Though they fight like all siblings, if you hurt one you better believe both are coming at you with the intent to kill (well, severely injure, but still).

Rodney Norrick DOB: September 3rd, 1950 FC: Jeremy Irons

Astra's grandpa, a Gryffindor Alumnus and retired Healer. Not known for his patience but for his care, the man worked tirelessly to save lives in the Dan Llewellyn Wing at St. Mungo's. His integrity precedes him and he's a straight-shooter. Good grandpa, though he spoils his grandkids by letting them run buck wild, much to Rion's chagrin. He has quite the stories to tell of his childhood but rarely talks about his time at St. Mungo's.

Astra's grandma, a Ravenclaw Alumna and retired Matron at St. Mungo's. A no nonsense type woman, she is caring but not in the most obvious of ways. Her actions are not always understandable but Marisol tries to do what's best for all parties. Heavily analytical but still in tune with her emotions, she is very balanced and put together. Her appearance is of heavy importance to her and she strives to look her best no matter the occasion, hence why she wouldn't let Astra use a recent picture of her but instead gave one from when Aces, Seren, and Rion were kids.

Astra's aunt, Ravenclaw Alumna and Unspeakable in the Death Chamber. Also Astra's hero, namesake, and second mother. Aces was a prankster just like her niece, a hatstill between Ravenclaw and Slytherin. She's sarcastic but also very genuine, and despite her carefree nature she's a responsible and serious person when you get down to the nitty gritty. A fighter by nature she will never hesitate to defend herself, her family, and her rights.

Astra's uncle-in-law, a Slytherin Alumnus and accountant. Analytical and sharp, he's a lot more serious than his wife but still knows how to have fun. With a silver tongue and a charming presence, he was known as the Slytherin's Slytherin during his Hogwarts days, through well-liked nonetheless. Rather squeamish about fighting, he tends to mediate instead. Lenient mindset on pranks so long as no one gets hurt.

Elliot Lerian DOB: April 1st, 1998 FC: Aidan Turner

Astra's cousin, Ravenclaw Alumnus and Novice Cursebreaker. Elliot is the older of the Lerian twins, both holding the same love of mischief that their mother and baby cousin possess. Elliot is definitely the more adventurous of the two, more intense. With a sharp wit (though not sharper than his brother's) but a greater thirst for knowledge and inborn restlessness, he's prone to disregard authority and do things his own way. (Astra would like to mention that she told Elliot to smile when taking this picture, but he didn't listen)

Astra's older cousin, Ravenclaw Alumnus and Broadcaster. Jesse is the younger of the Lerian twins but never fell in his brother's shadow. With the same sharp wit and charming air as his dad, Jesse learned quickly that words were his greatest asset, specifically in the art of telling news, whether that be gossip or extremely serious events. While at Hogwarts, he was a commentator likened to Lee Jordan by staff, but sports was not the route for Jesse. A sight less bold than his brother, Jesse tends more towards loopholes than outright defiance. (Astra would like to note that she also told Jesse to smile, and he did whatever the heck this is)

Jesse Lerian DOB: April 1st, 1998 FC: Orlando Bloom

Maria Lerian DOB: June 14, 2002 FC: Ali Michael

Astra's only female cousin, Hufflepuff Alumna and current student at WAVAD. She's studying photography. Much more cynical that your average badger, Maria is quick to point out that her diligence and loyalty are what make her Huffle. Blunt, serious, but still charming and with a light side, Ria is a sister-esque figure for Astra despite the age difference. They are often found plotting escapades to rival those of Elliot and Jesse. (Astra would like to say that none of her cousins are very cooperative when it comes to pictures)

Astra's aunt, a Hufflepuff Alumna and a Dragonologist in Slovakia. Seren is a kind and compassionate soul, a noble Huffle and proud member of the badger house. With a sunny disposition and kind words for all she's a well liked person. Do not cross her family or her friends, however, because like a badger of the wild her wrath is fierce and hardly anything can stop it. Seren is passionate about her work and incredibly knowledgeable about magical creatures of any sort. She prioritizes her family above all else, however, always making sure to stay in touch with her siblings and nieces and nephews no matter how busy.

Donald "Don" Foret DOB: June 27, 1977 FC: Richard Speight Jr

Astra's uncle-in-law, a Gryffindor Alumnus and the "maintenance guy" at the preserve. Like a Muggle zoo maintenance technician, Don feeds the dragons, checks up on barriers, fixes enclosures, runs tours, does a little bit of everything. Happy-go-lucky and just plain fun it's hard not to smile when Don is around. He loves kids and is a family man, always putting Seren and Cedric's well-being and safety before that of anyone else, including himself. He was a "born for the big screen" in his words and though he never got there he brings the spotlight wherever he goes with little stints like this one, where he and his sign were immortalized through photography.

Astra's cousin, a former Hufflepuff at Hogwarts and current Durmstrang student. He doesn't talk to Asa much, but isn't unfriendly. She finds it strange he was a Huffle since he's so cold and distant even when they do see each other, and the Durmstrang life seems to fit him much better. Roderick loves hanging out with Cedric, though, as the two are very close from when the Forets still lived in London. Cedric is highly devoted to his family but also values independence. He's a bit of a free thinker and has some unconventional ideas about magic, but no sinister ones yet.

Elijah "Eli" Rogers DOB: February 14, 1947 FC: Sam Neill

Astra's grandpa, a retired financial and personnel manager for a large retail company. He and his wife Georgia are Muggles and had one magic child and one non-magic child. Eli is a very laid back and go with the flow type fellow, so he was frankly unbothered by the whole idea of witches and wizards and wands. He simply told Morella not to become like Darth Vader (he's a giant nerd.) Eli is young at heart. Asa and he talk about Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Lord of the Rings, and the like for hours over phone or in person. He loves sharing old Muggle stuff with her, like classic bands or iconic items like the lava lamp. He is probably Asa and Rod's favorite grandpa (no offense, Rodney.)

Astra's grandma, formerly a business loan broker. Astra never got to meet Georgia, but Morella and her brother Matthew loved her. She was a good mom, though stressed often, which is probably what caused her heart attack. Eli also loved her dearly and was devastated when she passed. Friends and family say she was as beautiful inside as she was out, though Eli claims she'd argue with a signpost if it suited her.
