Pearl was born on April 16th 2011 in Coventry, England to her wizard parents John and Amalia Goodall. Her parents had thought about having another child but ultimately never did leaving Pearl as an only child. Being that she was the only child at home this led Pearl to wanting to make many friends, befriending her parents' friends' children who were also budding wizards and witches. She became quite social in this way and loved getting to spend time with her friends playing games. At age 7 she started some piano and vocal lessons as she loves music. Her father works as an auror and her mother as a court scribe so they always wanted her to do well in her future career and had always held her to high standards. They hired tutors for her so she would get the best education and be able to learn from them prior to being able to attend Hogwarts.
While her father was always adamant that Pearl should focus on her future, her mother really just wanted her to be happy in whatever she did end up doing. Pearl always looked up to her father and seen how he had such an important job and wanted to make him proud especially but she always found herself attracted to learning about the magical creatures and wanting to work with them.
When Pearl was just 6 years old she had her first instance of magic. She was playing with some dolls and found herself missing one that she wanted to dress up. The doll in question was across the room sitting on a shelf where she must have left it last. Pearl had her eyes locked on the doll and before she could get up to retrieve it the doll had flew through the air to her. Holding the doll in her hand, she quickly ran to her parents to tell them what happened.
