~ Mischievous ~ Reducio Bubba can best be described as a loveable rogue. He likes to fool around a bit and is always looking to bust someone's balls but it's just the way he shows affection. The more he likes you the more he will give you a hard time and poke fun. When it comes to the rules Bubba is a habitual line stepper, always trying to get away with something but careful to never quite cross the line.

~ Anxious ~ Reducio Bubba is very intelligent but he is also very insecure. He is very anxious about living up to his potential and expectations, and especially when it comes to exam time he is extremely tense. Bubba likes to use humor and joking, especially self-deprecating humor, to mask his insecurities. Bubba tends to compound his anxiety by worrying that his jokes may have gone too far and offending people in what can be best described as a vicious cycle.

~ Charming ~ Reducio Bubba has always been very charming, ever since he was a child. People have always been drawn to his warm, outgoing personality. He always puts them at ease and, despite being internally riddled with anxiety, is always happy to be the center of attention. If his outgoing personality isn't enough, his molten chocolate eyes are absolutely mesmerizing. The end result is a total package that always gets people's attention.

School Uniform Bubba always looks his best in his uniform. His tie is always properly tied and he always wears only clean robes (preferably pressed). He never recycles clothes from day to day and only wears them if properly washed. He wears black oxfords (not brogues) in the castle and a pair of black workboots when he's working in the grounds. If he's outside he's always wearing his black Ray-Bans.

Casual Look As in uniform, Bubba always tries to look his best out of uniform. He normally doesn't wear anything more casual than a polo shirt (unless it's sportswear). He does not wear jeans and can normally be seen wearing nice cargo shorts or slacks. For formal wear he prefers a three-piece suit, and unless the occasion calls for it can always be seen wearing his Ruby Slippers (Red New Balances).

»The Story So Far«

Bubba is a half-blood originally from Boston, Massachusetts in the United States. His father, Ben, was a local businessman and politician who met his mother, Ruth, while she was tending bar at a campaign event. Ben was drawn to her when she magicked up a spill when she thought no one was looking. Ben took an interest in her and rather than be afraid of her odd talents, he got to know her and eventually, she became comfortable enough around him to admit that she was a witch. They married a short time later and she gave birth to Bubba. Ben embraced his wife's being a witch and agreed that Bubba should go to a wizarding school, on the condition that he attend a muggle school until then so that he had an appreciation for his muggle heritage and could function in muggle society.

When Bubba was 6, the family had to relocate to Ireland to take care of Ruth's aging father, as he has too ill to move abroad and she was an only child. When Bubba was 8, his sister Joanie died in a house fire when she was babysitting him. The incident hit Bubba very hard and he does not talk about it to anyone. Most people would not know he'd ever even had a sister.

Bubba continued his schooling in Ireland and continued to earn good marks, he became best friends with James O'Reilly, his next-door neighbor and classmate. The two are inseparable during the summer holidays and have a shared interest in muggle football. James' father Bill also became a second father to Bubba when the two became close. Bill took James along when he went road rallying around Ireland and Great Britain, instilling a strong interest in racing that persists.

Bubba's first display of magic came when he was 7 years old. Bubba was in the back passenger seat of James' father's car, who was driving him and James to football practice. It was mid-December and the car hit a patch of black ice. The car spun down the hill towards a stoplight where another car had just turned onto the road and was driving up the hill. They span across the front of the other car and it hit the back passenger area where Bubba was sitting. The corner of car was severely smashed in but the damage inexplicably bent around him and he escaped without a scratch. The police and insurance agents couldn't explain it but as soon as she heard and saw Ruth understood that her son was indeed a wizard.

The happiest day of Bubba's life also turned out to be the saddest. Bubba's mother, Ruth, died of a heart attack the same day he got accepted into Hogwarts. Bubba and his father were absolutely crushed. While Bubba and his father have a good relationship, Bubba's relationship with his mother was very close and it hit him hard. When Bubba heard his mother had passed away, he ran into the woods close to their house and hid in a tree until the next morning. After the funeral when they went on a trip around Europe to try and grow closer before Bubba went off to school for a year. Bubba and his father visited Marseille, Paris, Rotterdam, Munich, and Rome.

Bubba spent two and a half great years at Hogwarts. He joined the Broom Racing team and became a Prefect of Ravenclaw. He even got himself his first girlfriend, Samantha Salwis. He was learning a lot and having a really wonderful time having found a place that truly felt like him. After his mother died, Bubba and his father only remained in Ireland to take care of his grandfather. Once he was well enough to live on his own, they returned to America. Bubba spent a year at Ilvermorney before his grandfather was gravely injured again, prompting them to return once again.
