Born to James Blair and Rose Markington on October 24, 2009. Susan has a brother named Jack Blair and he was born on September 4, 2007. Her parents are both magical, her father a wizard and her mother a witch. Susan's mother decided to have Susan take her last name to keep the Markington family alive, while her brother took her father's last name. Susan loves to bake Scottish and Irish desserts with her family. She also loves to talk gobbledegook with her dad and grandma Blair.

Growing up Susan loved playing games with her older brother, she would attempt to prank him when he would hang out with his friends, this really annoyed Jack. Wizards Chess was one of her favorite games, besides playing pretend Quidditch in the backyard. Susan obtained a fascination with Quidditch after going with her family to a Holyhead Harpies Quidditch game. She wanted to join them when she got older, but only time would tell.

Upon receiving her letter to attend Hogwarts, her parents were ecstatic. Susan hoped she would be able to join her brother in the Slytherin house at Hogwarts. Jack on the other hand was disgusted because now he would have to watch after his younger sister and protect her from bullies. Susan couldn't wait to see who the other first years would be and if she would be able to join her brother in Slytherin.

First Instance of Magic: At the age of five, Jack had upset Susan by pulling on her hair and calling her names. As a result, the living room couch caught on fire from Susan's anger. Rose scolded Jack for tormenting Susan, as she put out the fire with a flick of her wand.
