@Sage GreenwoodElsian scratched at the wood of the table feeling rather restless as he waited for Sage to meet up with him. She'd been rather excited which, okay wasn't bad of course he wanted his friend happy but the fact that she'd shaken him rather brutally from his napping spot in the common room before fleeing and yelling at him to meet her here? It sent warning signals because it was Sages turn for choosing the weeks 'quest' and Elsian wasn't quite sure how he felt about this weeks game with his friend....
At least there were no classes today unlike last week when Sage got stuck in the tree right before forth period. He still hurt from breaking her fall.
Nose wrinkling he eyed the rather empty hall, lunch passing a while back the only ones here were really a few people either hanging out, some playing cards or wizard chess but overall not even close to being busy. Bored he messed with the thread coming loose at the edge of his jackets sleeve, the green string starting to fray into a small hole that he kept forgetting to patch up. He really had to fix that, he mused lazily kicking a boot against the bench across him with quiet little thumps.
"Where is she..." he muttered only to jump violently, shin hitting the bench he'd been kicking, hard, when Sage seemed to appear out of thin air. Slamming a large, brown paper wrapped package on the table with a small breathless laugh.
"You're gonna love this!" she crowed
He hissed in pain, drawing his leg to his chest an resting his chin atop the knee, hand gingerly ghosting over the fabric of his black pants where he just knew there was gonna be another bruise. With his free hand he poked at the brown paper feeling something hard underneath and frowned slightly.
"So you're sure this is..y'know...safe?" he asked giving the other a look, "you promise this is actually something you've done before?"

Sage rushed through the dorm, gathering her outfit and getting ready for the day. She dressed in a loose sweater, put on a black skirt with tights under it and put on a pair of sketchers. She then brushed and styled her hair in her usual loose ponytails. Sage was ecstatic, she finally got notified that her grandparents sent over her other precious treasure. She couldn't wait to show Elsi this week's activity, he's going to have so much fun! She only had this planed and was grateful that it came on time, otherwise she would have to resort to another week of Disney movies.
She left the dorm to find Elsi before he disappeared to sleep somewhere weird and out of the way and be unable to find him in time. Sage luckily saw him sleeping in the common room and wasted no time to rush over and wake him up.
"Meet me in the Great Hall!" She yelled seeing him somewhat awake, before sprinting out the door and heading to get her precious item.
A huge Cheshire grin adorned her face by the time she had her package and her mood couldn't be wavered from overjoyed. The package was a little difficult to run with since it was almost as big as her, but She felt like she was just refound a piece of herself that she lost and wouldn't be stopped by anything! She ran through the halls to make it to where she told Elsi to meet her. She finally made it, out of breath, and scanned the room for her friend. She saw him sitting by himself at the Gryffindor table, her smile grew bigger and raced over slamming the package down in front of him.
"You're going to love this!" Sage crowed, a sudden feeling of pride filled her. She was going to show her greatest treasure to an actual friend! Elsi will be the first person to ever be show this treasure.
She watched as Elsi glanced at the package and poked it with an apprehensive look. "So you're sure this is..y'know...safe?" Her smile never wavered as he continued, "you promise this is actually something you've done before?"
"Of course it's safe as long as we prepare properly for it!" Sage nodded making a list of items they need to get, before continuing, "I've actually done this a few times at home, so there is nothing to worry about!" She sat down next to Elsi, then patted the package with a fond smile, remembering happy memories from the past. "This is the most reliable thing my family has owned, it has lasted a long time, so there is nothing to fear!"

@Sage GreenwoodHe couldn't help but feel...wary about this whole thing. If something was in your family for as long as Sage made it seem, didn't that kinda entail that maybe the thing was over due for retirement? Then again maybe he was just overthinking this. Sage tended to exaggerate a bit when excited. Maybe her treasure wasn't as old as his brain instantly jumped to.
"Okay," he sighed, at least it wasn't super tiny. Surely big enough for them at least. "But when you say prepared...what exactly do we do for gear? I mean, it's not like we can just borrow quidditch gear. And I refuse to wear a pot as a helmet like you mentioned." he said giving his friend a warning look.
He didn't care how much she swore up and down pots were perfectly good helmets they were more likely to give their brains a good rattling than actually protect them!
"I mean-" he paused eyeing the ceiling as an idea popped into his head, " the common room has a lot of pillows..." he began slowly, seeing the way the others face twisted from thinking to one of excitement, "and I probably have something we can use to tie them down? Maybe some loose fabric we can rip up?"
It was better than a pot at least.
"Should we?" he asked himself just as much as he was asking Sage, wondering if pilfering the common room was really worth it.

As soon as Elsi said the word Pillows Sage's eyes lit up. It was such a simple but brilliant idea! Why didn't she think of it sooner? Pillows are soft, durable and stable making them the best option available to them. All they would need to do is gather enough pillows for each of them to put one on their head, stomach, and back for the most safety. 'Pillows are more reliable than pots anyway.' She thinks to herself, counting how many pillows they would need.
"Elsi, you're an absolute genius! We'll raid the common room's pillows and create our protective layer using pillows and fabric then we can start the activity for this week!" She said barely containing her growing excitement. "This week is going to be so much fun! I hope you had something light to eat because you're going to have your socks knocked off from the sheer amount of excitement you'll get from this activity!"
Sage grabs her package that's been put on the table, giving it a tight hug. She puts the package under her arm and grabs Elsi's wrist pulling him up from sitting and races off towards the next stage in the plan of their quest for fun!
"Let's hurry before it gets too late in the day and we won't be able to do this!" She explains quickly as they disappear down one of the many hallways.
