Before Hogwarts

Nawelle Haidan was born in the heart of winter when London was the coldest of the year. Her parents were not very strict wizards and she grew up with lots of freedom. Her father worked at the Ministry of Magic at the Department for Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and her mother was a doctor at St Mungo's Hospital.
She has never known any of her grandparents but keeps a precious bracelet from her grandmother.
Nawelle was an accident. Her parents never wanted to have a child and however they loved their daughter a lot, they didn't take care of her very well and she often felt neglected.
When the year of her seven years was coming to an end, no magic sign had yet appeared in the girl. Her parents began to think that they may have given birth to a squib. But when she was eight, she accidentally made all the copies of a particularly difficult test in school disappear.
However, she never told her parents, who were therefore persuaded that she was not a witch until she received her letter.
His father was pure-blood but his mother was half-blood, his parents and three wizarding grandparents were Ravenclaws at Hogwarts. Nawelle expected to be dispatched to Ravenclaw.
At school, her poor sociability made her an easy target for mockery. She never had friends in her school except for Celestin, whom she had known since kindergarten.
Celestin was a boisterous and hyperactive boy but he felt compelled to protect her. But Tom was a muggle. Nawelle couldn't tell her she was going to Hogwarts. He thought she was in a boarding school in Scotland.
The girl's parents didn't appreciate the friendship between the two children. "He's a muggle! He's not like you, he will never know our world. You are wasting your time with him!" But she didn't care. Celestin was HER best friend. She promised to write to him.
