A Quiet Place to Breath
Mentioning: @ Leo Ashton
It was a quiet, breezy Saturday afternoon by The Great Lake the sun was starting to set lowering itself for the day, the sound of the wind echoed through the surrounding brush and trees nearby. Along the shore of the Lake perched on a rock-leaning onto a tree with the carved words, Usual spot was Alan. Sat alone with nothing but his thoughts and the book he was reading which by the looks of it was a Muggle printed graphic novel which was tampered so the images would move. Alan grew fond of the graphic novel during Christmas as his mother sent it to him as a present for working diligently throughout the year.
Humming to himself, Alan took a short break from his book, letting out a deep sigh. The young looked across the Lake the clear water reflecting the sunlight, watching the vast numbers of birds flying by. Alan said to himself out loud knowing well that nobody was going to listen "Man if only the others weren't so busy today, could spend some time, maybe share some stories of the week or the whatnot." Wearing a green sweater, a blue scarf and blue jeans with his white running shoes. The young lad setting his book down to the side, he reached into his rucksack searching for a large container which felt warm to the touch.
Alan pulled out the container from his rucksack, the aroma of freshly baked desserts lingered in the place he christened as the usual spot as several rocks were naturally set up in a way for people to sit and relax. Opening it, he pulled an out one of his Nans Pumpkin Pasties, his favourite dessert to which she sent to him the day before. Reaching into his pocket was a small packet of tissues, wrapping the pastry around it he chomped down, pondering of ideas he should write down but unfortunate for Alan lacked his notebook which he somehow misplaced. Cursing himself, he muttered, "If only I could remember where I put it last."

A Quiet Place to Breath
@Alan Noble
Stepping outside made Leo feel less flustered. He'd managed to slip past the group that was congregating around him in the library. The more people that approached him, the warmer his cheeks grew. Everyone was very nice to him. It was a nice change. He did, however, manage to swipe a notebook from the table near his. It had ninja turtles plastered on it. Leo knew who it belonged to. It was simply a matter of finding the boy. He seemed to recall seeing said boy around the Great Lake a few times.
He took in the fresh air for a few moments, clutching the notebook by his side. Despite it being a breezy afternoon, Leo decided to wear a black t-shirt with a boombox on it and blue jeans to match. On his wrist was an old, black leather band watch. The band was worn and missing flakes of leather. On the back of the watch was an engraving that wrote 'Adam Michael Ashton'. While the watch originally belonged to Leo's father, he was now its rightful owner. His father gifted it to him while he was away during Christmas.
Leo walked towards the Great Lake, the wind feeling slightly colder as he walked under shading trees. He shivered lightly but continued to walk towards the lake. As he did, the sweet smell of baked goods hit his nose. Leo stopped in his tracks to examine his surroundings, his eyes landing on the boy perched on the rock. There he was.
The scent of desserts seemed to pull Leo towards the boy. If Leo remembered correctly, his name was Alan. Wanting to seem slightly cool and friendly, Leo walked over to the boy with a big smile on his face. "Hey, Alan!" Stepping over a few smaller rocks, Leo stopped in front of the one Alan was sitting on. "You dropped this in the library." He smiled again, stretching his arm out and handing Alan the notebook. Leo's nostrils flared as the sweet smell hit him once more. "Those pumpkin pasties smell amazing. Just like my dad's. He owns a bakery in London." Leo added, rubbing the back of his neck a little. He missed his father's baking. He missed smelling fresh bread in the mornings the most.

Alan a tad frustrated in his thoughts as to where he misplaced the notebook. The young lad nibbled on the pumpkin pastie talking out loud with his mouthful which sounded somewhat garbled and confusing to understand "The last place I remember was in the Library, maybe I should check there?" Closing the small box of assorted pastries as the young lad was about to take his leave, he was startled by a voice which sounded familiar causing the Ravenclaw to drop his box. Fortunately, the box was still closed "Argh! who goes there?" Alan exclaimed looking in the direction the voice came from, seeing the Gryffindor he came across in the Library the young lads eyes widened staring at the notebook recognising the embroidered initials.
With a smile across his face, Alan approached the first year. With his hand reached out to take back the notebook the young lad extended the other offering Leo a handshake "Thanks! I was looking everywhere for it, My mom would have let me hear the end of it." Attempting to remember a name the boy made a guess "Leon was it? Or am I miss remembering sorry..." Alan seemed quite embarrassed not being able to recognise the Gryffindors name. Upon mentioning the desserts, Alan had brought for himself, the young lad walked over towards the box that had fallen harmlessly onto the grass. Picking up the box and dusting off the residue dirt he approached Leo opening the container offering the first year apiece. it appears some of the pastries had jutted about due to the tumble though held the aroma of still being freshly baked as he replied: "Yeah well...m-my Nan bakes these, makes the best ones ever." The thought that Leos dad was also a baker. Alan commented: "No way, though, my Nan owns a Bakery in Barnet, we definitely need to trade addresses for a visit!" Alan seemed to be quite comfortable with Leo despite the only having just met the boy a second time.
Alan thought back to how suddenly he left the Library, the young lad swiped the small tufts of hair in his own eyes saying nervously "Uhhh..s-s-sorry for leaving earlier, so so-suddenly I d-d-don't do too well i-in groups heh. " Alan appeared somewhat insecure as it was a no brainer that the young lad may be an introvert as he struggled to keep eye contact with the Gryffindor
