Luna Walked briskly behind her mother as they headed towards the platform, she was so confused as to how they would get there considering in all of her time taking trains with her mum she had never seen a platform with such a number
“Why did we have to leave so early?” She heard her father complain from behind as he pulled her suitcase from behind,
“daddddd” she groaned, “I can’t be late, what if I miss the train?” She said looking up at him with wide innocent eyes, she heard him chuckle which made her even more frustrated, but she still had a smile on her face.
“We might be with all these muggles in the way” Luna’s mother said at the front, it was true, the platform was quite packed, it was early so everyone was headed off to work so it made sense.

Finally they came to a halt infront of a big brick pillar that stood strong in between platforms 9 and 10, She turned towards her dad about to question what they were doing, when he just gave her a wink and nodded towards the pillar, As Luna looked back her mother started walking at the brick pillar, Luna’s jaw dropped slightly about to warn her mother about where she was headed but it was like the bricks opened up and engulfed her, she walked straight threw in plain sight, Luna was flabbergasted. Her father grabbing onto her hand was the only thing that pulled her out of shock.
“Our turn chicken.” He said, almost pulling her still slightly in shock body through the wall, how. Incredible.

“I was beginning to think you weren’t going to come through.” Came her mothers voice as they stepped through, but Luna was too amazed by the beautiful train that came into her view, this was her new beginning, her new life. After a lot of cuddles and kisses from her parents they finally left her on the platform to really take in her surroundings and prepare to start her new adventure.

"Okay, we're leaving now!" Cress's mom shouted into the house as she stepped outside with Cress. Crescent's dad was home today as was her little brother.

"Alright, you have a great time and don't forget to write!" her father said as her little brother gave her a hug and tried to show her a new picture book he'd been given that day.

"Thanks dad, I'll write all the time! And, that's a wonderful book Thomas," she replied to them both.

She and her mom headed for the train station and after three hours and countless transfers, they finally arrived at King's Cross. When they hopped off the last train, her mom seemed confused. "Well, you have to get on at platform 9 3/4 which... doesn't appear to exist."

"Mom, I've got this, I'll just wait for someone else with school supplies and see what they do," Cress responded as she continued glancing around before her eyes finally fell on a family with three kids all carrying trunks. "Perfect, there are some people right now." They both watched as the family went up to a brick wall and ran right through it, seemingly disappearing. "Well, that's how I get in then," Cress stated.

"Alright, I don't think I can get in there, so I'll leave you here then. Have a great semester and I'll see you at Christmas time, right?" Her mom seemed worried.

"Of course you will, and I'll be totally fine!" Cress added. After giving her a hug, her mom turned around and ran to catch the train that had just pulled in. Cress, on the other hand, headed straight at a brick pillar.

Shocked when she actually made it through without running into a solid brick wall, Cress marveled at the beautiful train sitting on the tracks.
