A Project of Collaboration Innocence Project

Dear Mr. Bellows,

I wanted to write to you because I saw the article in the Daily Prophet in January about the Innocence Project. I read about how Ms. Clover explained to reporters about the efforts that you are all doing to try to prove Mr. Potter's innocence and inform the public about things like the missing wand. I may have some information about the case from inside Hogwarts castle. Several of us have gathered to form something similar to the Innocence Project. We've called it the Liberation Club. Since I have direct access to the members and the evidence we've collected so far, I thought maybe we could trade information. With two groups working on it, maybe the truth can be found even faster. To show you that I'm serious and not lying, I thought I could give you some information right off the start. We've learned the names of the witnesses to the murder, including the specific students who turned Mr. Potter in, and we're working on tracking them down and gaining their trust enough to be able to talk to them and hear their side of the story. Also, since finding out that Mr. Potter's wand is missing, we've been trying to see if we can find it hidden somewhere in the castle, but so far no luck. This is just a little bit of what we're doing and what we've found.

Hope you write back,
E. Decipio
